Pros: I found this service easy to use and manage candidates. It was a more cost effective option than some of the other services we had tried.

Cons: Overall, this was not the best fit for our business. We found just as much success using a lower cost service, and since we had a very limited budget, that was a deal breaker. They do not have any free listing option.

Overall: This did not have any significant benefit over similar services, but we did find some strong candidates.

Pros: The system allows you to be as descriptive or vague as you want, and has a variety of options for attracting audiences. You can purchase additional search advertisement opportunities to be featured on social media, etc. You can also post internationally.

Cons: The system is pricey and the sales reps basically stop helping you after you sign the contract. Sifting through applicants can be cumbersome with the limited pre-screen abilities.

Pros: I like that I can cater my search string to find specific individuals with niche skillets within a specific area or distance. You have many options to search, including how recent they updated their resume.

Cons: I find it difficult looking for out of area candidates that want to come to Florida. Also, It is difficult to search by city. Instead, you have to search by zip code which makes it more complicated and not easy to do.

Pros: What I like most about this software is that it has many functions. Easy to navigate. Job search made simple.

Cons: What I least like about this software is that there is a lot going on with it. Other than that, I have had no other issues.

Pros: I dont have any Pros to say about this.. Monster.com is the worst recruitment tool that you could ever possibly want to have. The only applicants that i have received for my many job posts.

Cons: They dont have an up to date searching database - they dont advertise thier company and so there is no up to date traffic that they attract. They will blind you with promises of extra things to attract candidates that possibly would work but they dont have the traffic and so its a non starter no matter what they offer.

Pros: Very useful for entry level roles. Can use job posting to find the right type of profile. It also allows to find candidates according to the company/industry.

Cons: Could use more on the functionality part of sorting out resumes according to the years of experience.

Overall: This software helps me with most of my IT and Non-It clients. And it helps me with the specific type of candidates that you are looking for. I highly recommend using Monster.

Pros: You get a great amount of resumes, the membership is affordable and very easy to search for resumes. The booleon searches are easier to utilize

Cons: The cons for me is the applicants seem to be more higher end applicants. With my particular work fields in manufacturing these applicants are just too overly qualified for my positions.

Pros: MONSTER is a efficient recruitment tool that allow recruiters to search for and identify potential candidates with the ideal skill set for a specific job and get unique candidates with high tech skills. It also help build the pipeline for the current or upcoming client requirement.

One word - AWESOME!!!!

Cons: Web version should be made little more lighter so it gains more weight in terms of scalability and speed.

Pros: If you headhunt this is a great site for reaching out to passive candidates. Really exceeds exceptions in niche industries. Other sites scrub job postings from Monster which helps get the word out.

Cons: Overall the software is stuck in the middle. In my experience not as good for attracting candidates as indeed, not as good for networking as LinkedIn, not as good for searching resumes as Monster. Jack of all trades, master of none.

Overall: A good cost effective software for resume searching. Good brand recognition.

Pros: Compared to other workforce search engines, we chose Monster to hire a temp for our department. Uploaded our position details was quick and easy and didn't make it difficult to post! We also loved that we are able to communicate with candidates through Monster instead of using our person emails!

Cons: Setting up the initial account for the business was very extensive (not saying that's a bad thing) but it took almost 2 hours to get registered before we could even post any openings!

Pros: This is a viable software for businesses of all sizes and of different types.
We used this service for technology and IT services. Some of the positives is that this software offers a variety of sourcing and screening capabilities. Such as candidate database, candidate matching, career page widget, custom application forms, custom branded website support, posting to external job sites, self-service career page, and social recruiting tools,, which is a plus. It also offers social media integration and job board integration, which was useful for us.

Cons: This web based applicant tracking and recruitment management solution offered services such as sourcing, screening, interviewing, and work-flow management, as well as custom reports. But it is very pricey per user. For us it cost you high. Unless you are a power user this is not worth the cost, at least it wasn't for us.

Overall: The product worked well, but we switched to a different company because it was just way too costly unless you are a power user and we felt that we could figure out a lower cost way to achieve our goals.

Pros: I found it to be somewhat easy to complete a resume search as part of the package my company selected.

Cons: The price is far too expensive and we were unable to receive quality candidates when performing resume searches. In fact, we did not receive a single applicant from a resume search that was interested in pursuing a job change. It does not appear as though resumes are kept updated to those individuals actively seeking employment.

Comments: We utilize Monster TMS every day to post jobs, prescreen resumes and track selection outcomes. The software is not easy to use and if you need some support it is always a struggle. I provide 1 star in Easy to use and 1 in Customer support . 2 stars for features and functionality, I would like to see some more relevant improvements (like the possibility to send massive email (more than 100+) with just a click. We also found the job posting interface very confusing and complicated. Overall we really wish they'll be able to become much more customer oriented as the product itself has good potential.

Comments: Monster TMS is a necessity for recruiters. I utilize it every day to search for candidates, post jobs, and review resumes. Monster has really gotten their brand out there and thus still remains relevant in the face of much competition. The site is easy to use and provides most of the functionality one could ask for. I provide 3 stars in Value for Money only because I feel Monster is very expensive and there are many lower cost options on the market. I also give 3 stars for features and functionality because I would like to see a few improvements. The job posting interface is very confusing and could really be simplified. I would like to also see some improvements in the "refresh" function. Monster logs you out of the site if you are inactive for too long but does provide a warning first asking if you would like to "refresh." This function does not always work and often I accept the refresh function only to notice after I fill in additional fields for either a search or a job posting, that I have been logged out and my changes were not accepted. Overall, the TMS is a great product and with a few improvements, could be the perfect tool for recruiters!

Pros: Great support team. They can help you find resumes if needed and they do monitor your usage to practically reach out with support interventions.

Cons: Data quality is off on some social feed based skills. most of the the time, highly rated skills on the site profiles are not necessarily true when I check the full social profile on LinkedIn.

Recommendations to other buyers: They need to look at dice social search. I think that product provides a better data quality and phone numbers for candidates in most cases.

Great concept, needs to work on efficiency and streamlining.

Pros: Layout is decent and concept is good.Follow up is nice when you first use it. Though having one person that trains you on it, and one person that supports the day to day is a little odd.

Cons: Constant follow up from Account Managers for TalentBin, they are there to "help" but really have no idea about the market or the technology that we are trying to recruit for. I also heavily dislike the email feature in the tool as its very time consuming and not very user friendly. Just a lot of steps in general to get to a candidate.

Recommendations to other buyers: Give it a least two weeks to get used to it. But you will find you have to put a lot of time into getting your searches started and reaching out to candidates. Quite a few things that are still not in TBs "wheelhouse"

Pros: I like the ability to search people from open web. We use it for search for our IT Roles and it helps sometimes. I like that I have real e-mails.

Cons: not reliable search, it says in header that he is a "developer" but then i open linkedin and he is a "painter"

Recommendations to other buyers: Be as much specific as you can in your search. Check their profiles before writing to them

Pros: Additional place to find candidate other than LinkedIn

Cons: Floods my email with updates on how many searches I preform and tasks that I need to complete. I think the automated outreach emails are a good, but think you lose a personal touch with the candidates. I had a candidate who actually called me to tell me that he responded to my message, but he is still receiving messages to see if he was interested and asked to be removed from my list. I have had candidate responded after receiving multiple message only to say that they are not interested.

Recommendations to other buyers: Would be easier if you could some how integrate it with LinkedIn so you can have all of your candidates in one place.
