Pros I like all the options adobe creative cloud has to offer. I use the PDF viewer daily and Photoshop Elements atleast twice a week. Cons I don't like that each little feature of the cloud cost an additional subscription amount. Also, I don't think photoshop elements is very easy to use. Review Source LC Lindsey C. Marketing Manager Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Full-featured creative suite; pick and choose your needs" October 3, 2017 4.0 Pros I like that you can decide which programs you want to pay for and it's really easy to set it up on a new computer or work from somewhere else. Before CC, I had to go dig out the install CD + license number every time I wanted to move to a new computer, and some of the newer computers don't even have CD drives. Now I can access my files from anywhere and it's easy to install on a new computer. I also really like that you can download a trial of any program so you can see what it's like before you decide to add it to your subscription. Cons Sometimes the products have so many features that it's hard to use. I wish there was a 'simplified' version of each one sort of like the apps they feature for iPhone, maybe as a trial version or a lower cost option. Some of the programs I really like the full features of (Photoshop, Lightroom) and some I could use a more simplified version until I understand it better (Illustrator, InDesign). Those are based on my personal skill sets (I do more photography work than graphics work), so I wish there were two versions of each program, not just the ones I typically use. Pros In my business I'm not really sure I could live without this software so it's hard to say what I like most. One thing I like is that I'm confident that whatever I need to do graphically, it will allow me to do. Cons I can't think of anything I liked least, except that there's a big learning curve. It takes a fairly significant amount of time to get up to speed with being able to do even a small portion of what's offered, which speaks to the fact that it's comprehensive ( a big positive) Review Source ML Michael L. August 29, 2019 5.0 Pros The ease of use and wide variety of tools to use is perfect. You can manipulate .pdf files easily and efficiently. Exporting and importing information. My favorite tool is the OCR capability. It makes copying image words simple. Saves time and $$$! I have also used Adobe Photoshop several times and comes with as many image tools as you can think of. Adobe has set a great standard in image programming. Cons My company does not fully utilize the tools available using this program. I will continue to advocate for the added tools as it saves time and, ultimately, money. Programs run fast and all of their programs have a similar look and feel. Learning curve, despite the near limitless options, is vastly superior to open source tools like GIMP. Cons Sometimes the applications freeze up, despite having enough computer resources. Feel they push their stock photography option a bit too much (pop-ups). Pros I like the different apps within the cloud and how easy they are to move content from one to the other. Cons Sometimes importing and exporting is not easy. I really only use this on one device, but like that I can use it on more than one device if needed. Great to be able to access it from any computer and not be limited to a physical program purchased for one computer. Pros I use this basically every day. I love the fact that it's cloud based and I can access it from anywhere. There is a program for any project! Cons I wish it would automatically update apps when I'm not using them, if an update is available. Pros The move to creative cloud has been fantastic in terms of flexibility of where I can do my work. having access to the license on multiple devices means that I have real flexibility in terms of where and how I work. Cons The only draw back to using a subscription based approach to software is that it is an on going cost for the business. I have recently started dabbling in Photoshop and I love learning about it. There are easy tutorials online in order to work, but I don't think it is too difficult to figure out on your own either. Pros Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications is the industry standard and has gotten better with every upgrade. The cloud-based updates are convenient and less problematic than when it was first introduced and cross-platform and cross-version conversion is a godsend. It is simply a must-have for any creative professional. Cons Adobe Bridge is still less-than-seamless. While version control features and shared libraries are nice, still very few partners and vendors use Bridge or take advantage of its features. Cross-application work to and from Illustrator and other suite applications is still chancy. Migrating and transplanting the correct font properties and vector objects are still a dice roll. It's easy to see the updates for every program and can delete it easily from there without going to your files. I like the compatibility of the whole app even though there are several problems with the memberships accessibility. The adobe support is always on and can help you every single hour with non-stop live chats. The support brings you the answers up to a week and before leaving you they ask you via e-mail or phone if your problem is disovled. Cons Maybe most of the paid memberships are not displayed in the desktop app. The support wants permission to screen control your computer which is not very believable for most of the users but I can say that they are really reliable and people should trust them with that. Volunteer Photography Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "The magic of photoshop " September 21, 2019 4.0 when it comes to photo editing this has greatly increased our pamphlet an websites appeal and wow factor. the pdf and scanner have recently been a great option for us we are jut now starting to fiddle around with them but so far are very happy with the results. Pros I was able to retouch photos so easily with this after playing around on the many different apps for a couple of days getting comfortable with them I started on my job of preparing the photos for the new pamphlet and more for the website. I have never used such a great service way better than any other photo editing app between all the different apps I was able to fix every thing from lighting to blemishes and we were really able to capture the essence of the ranch. Cons sometimes it takes a while to get back to where a mistake was made. I feel like there could've been more corrective options. Also there should be an auto-upload option as many other websites or applications have. However these are small issues that I feel could improve an already amazing system. Reason for choosing Adobe Creative Cloud I had a promotional opportunity which brings the prices a little closer together and with having access to all of the creative cloud apps it just seemed logical and thank goodness for it because we are in love with it. Installing and updating assets in pretty seamless and work well. I really like the libraries that are available between apps. Pros It's one central location for access to all the Adobe apps and assets , including Adobe Stock, fonts, libraries, and files. Cons I like the previous window better than what it recently changed to. It was a lot less obnoxious, but still got you to where you needed to be to access everything. Whether it's Adobe Acrobat/Reader or any of the other Adobe products, my one login not only unlocks paid features but saves the previous work I've done to the cloud. Cons The price is what I like the least.
