### "Very good tools. Cost too high, some apps have serious issues"

November 26, 2019

4.0

Workflow is very good with Illustrator, Photoshop and Audition. Cranking out finished products in good time always works with these three tools.

Pros

Updates are very good on the whole, especially when it comes to codecs and exporting to various formats. Illustrator is solid, Photoshop is solid. Support is responsive, even on line with TeamViewer a few times.

Cons

Premier and After Effects have severe limitations when rendering final products. We mostly use the free software HitFIlm now to do all our final renders because even after all the suggested tweaks, it can take 4 hours to render a 30-second video. HitFIlm will do the same file in 30 seconds. We stopped using Dreamweaver all together because it is so slow. A total revamp of that product would be good, as we don't even have it on our system anymore. (After using it since it was new).

Reason for choosing Adobe Creative Cloud

Updates are more regular.

### "Pricey but an Industry Standard for Photos, Footage, and More"

December 1, 2018

5.0

I love the software contained Adobe Creative Cloud. I use mainly Photoshop for Photos, Dreamweaver for Websites, and Premier for Video and Adobe's software never fails to offer the best of the best in powerful software, especially in Photoshop where there is no close competitor. My only complaint is that, now that the software is subscription based, you are paying for it over and over again to the tune of an amount well in excess of it's purchase price; this is somewhat counterbalanced by the free updates to the software for as long as you're a subscriber.

Pros

Ease of use, functionality, industry standard for video editing and photo editing, WYSIWYG web designing in Dreamweaver with greater control than browser based equivalents

Cons

Very expensive when compared to purchasing the software outright

### "An extensive pro suite that's essential in my workflow"

July 16, 2018

5.0

Pros

I like how you can download only the applications you need, which saves space. There's a lot of value and things you can do. Whatever you're looking to design, edit, or make, there's a specific application to help you do that, which is great. Most are relatively easy to pick up and learn as well.

Cons

The monthly price for the entire application suite is a bit high, You can subscribe to individual applications, but two of those is the same price as the entire suite's monthly price. However, I can't imagine doing my job without Photoshop and Acrobat. It would also be nice if my settings and options in the applications synced with Creative Cloud across all my devices.

### "Over-Priced Can of Month-Old Caviar Left Out on the Counter. Just Can't Get Rid of the Bad Taste."

September 9, 2020

1.0

Software As A Service, (subscription-based software as opposed to perpetual licensing) is a horrible idea for small businesses. Let me explain: You're getting essentially the exact same software in new packaging that instead of making an investment (one time purchase with multiple years of usage for creation), you are paying almost exactly SIX TIMES the amount for the software. Example: Adobe Creative Suite 6 cost $799 in 2012. Adjusted for inflation, that would cost $901.69 today. For that license purchased, as long as you had a machine that could run the software, you could use it. Most computer hardware investments have a lifecycle of roughly five years, so we need to look at the cost of today's "Software As A Service" model that Adobe has adopted. They have broken apart the Creative Suite into 20+ apps now rebranded as the "Creative Cloud." They sell a monthly subscription for this software instead of a license at $79.99/month. If we compare the cost of using this SAAS model vs the license model, we see that over five years that same suite of software now costs the business over FIVE TIMES as much at a whopping price tag of $4,799.40. Believe it or not, this is ginormous price increase comes with DECREASED functionality, as there are STILL in-app purchases, AND you are locked into using the Creative Cloud Storage, limited to 1TB of storage per user. For small businesses, choosing Adobe Creative Cloud is financial suicide. Find an old copy of CS6 if you MUST use adobe.

Pros

I did not find anything about this software that could rinse the bad taste out of my mouth from the over-priced single option of purchase. It is most akin to Caviar- extremely high-priced, and goes bad after just 3 days of being opened or improper storage.

Cons

There is no license available for purchase that lasts longer than a year (traditional perpetual license). Software is an investment, just like the purchase of hardware, and having the price for five years be over FIVE TIMES the cost of CS6, AND have reduced functionality (though you could throw more money away through in-app purchases if you like that sort of torture), Adobe has seriously over-priced their product to the point of obsolescence within our company.

Reason for choosing Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe had a very good reputation from our experience with Creative Suite 6. We've learned our lesson and have cancelled the subscription to this garbage.

### "Abobe Creative Cloud is the industry standard for design"

June 29, 2018

5.0

I use Adobe Creative Cloud every day for work. I wouldn't be able to do my job as a graphic designer without it. Mostly I use InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, but occasionally use Dreamweaver as well. I love the way all the applications integrate.

Pros

Adobe Creative Cloud is extremely versatile and essential for all your design needs. They have applications for print design, web design, marketing, photo editing, film editing you name it. All under one subscription plan. And the applications generally integrate well.

Cons

The programs are very complicated, and have more features than most people can possibly learn to use. That said, with regular practice, you can master your niche and pick up a little in everything else.

### "Adobe Creative Cloud Review"

April 8, 2019

5.0

I really do love Adobe Creative Cloud because I like to try out different softwares to try creating content I never thought I could create. Like I said, the beauty of the Cloud is that you get access to a ton of programs, like Spark, Dreamweaver, etc. It's fun to test out different softwares and content options and allows you to truly come up with something unique for your organization.

Pros

The opportunities really seem endless with Adobe Creative Cloud. I love that if you have the full cloud, you can go crazy with creativity. You have access to so many different programs which you can use to create beautiful content. I personally love Lightroom and Illustrator.

Cons

I don't like that no Adobe products are super user-friendly. Unless you are just insanely software savvy, you will have to be taught how to use Adobe Creative Cloud. I still have to often look up how to do certain things. There are so many softwares and online resources now that allow you to create similar content without all the hassle of learning Adobe software... the question in the creative world, though, is does that make your content true art? I don't know or have the answer, and honestly I think use what you enjoy using and works best for your organization. But if you're going for user-friendly, Adobe is not it.

### "Great suite of tools but not beginner friendly"

September 9, 2021

5.0

I love it. I have had a subscription for almost 2 years now and I have learned a lot and I am still learning a lot. It allows me to make my videos awesome and my podcast sounding great.

Pros

You can do almost anything creative with their software packages. I do video, podcasting, and graphics and I love it. The best part is the templates you can use. I am not a graphic designer by any means but I can edit templates to make some awesome looking logos and graphics.

Cons

It can be overwhelming at times especially as someone who is not an artistic person.

I still use Filmora as well. It is much easier to use but if I want something that Filmora doesn't have I use Adobe suite. Adobe Creative Cloud has so much more to offer with all their apps and programs.

### "Cloud 9"

December 4, 2020

5.0

As a full-work student and employee, the cloud has proven to be helpful and well worth the yearly cost.

Pros

What I love most about using Adobe Creative Cloud is how it centralizes all my install programs and notifies when I need to update them. Also, the latest update neatly categorizes its side nav with everything important. My second favorite thing is Adobe Cloud. It allows me to have more space on my laptop and everything is backed up.

Cons

My least favorite thing is when the software does update my programs it keeps the previous years. I had 2019, 2020, and now 2021 versions of the same applications. I also would suggest an offline functionality to pull the latest work from the cloud.

### "Thank You Adobe"

January 21, 2020

5.0

We are able to turn media and graphic projects around quickly and effectively for our clients. More time to billable hours, less to admin.

Pros

Thank you Adobe for making it easy and cost effective to get all the tools we need from your company to do the creative work our clients need. It's not per piece, it's not per program, use and download what you need and get the tools to do what you need on demand at a reasonable price. They nailed it.

Cons

It's good overall, you get all the creative tools you need for one monthly price and they include all the updates and software gets added as it comes online. It's great. One less thing to think or worry about. I don't like they don't do the work for me.

### "Creative Cloud is a must!"

April 2, 2019

5.0

Pros

The main pro to us is the implementation of the creative libraries. Each customer Has a library that contains their color palettes, their logos and other design elements, and any other bit of information or design elements needed when creating A design for that customer. The library is shared with everyone on the team so each designer has access to that customers design elements. Not only that, but type kit has gotten rid of the need to consistently look for fonts that another designer was using when they created the document so sharing the workload becomes a lot easier.

Cons

In order for libraries and type kit function, you must have internet connection.

### "A Tried and True Classic - With Room for Improvement"

July 23, 2019

5.0

I've been using Adobe CC since its inception and it's incredibly easy to download software, manage accounts (as an admin), switch between computers as the same user, etc.

Pros

It's nice having access to software updates immediately as they are released vs. having to buy new software each time, however these updates often result in more bugs than if they were to fine-tune them before a software release of yesteryear. I usually wait a little bit before updating to check if anyone is having issues. It's hard to review Adobe CC as a whole because the software within CC spans a huge range but overall it's an impressive suite and continues to push the envelope innovation-wise.

Cons

Gone are the days of purchasing a version of this software and using it til you can't stand it any longer. This may be a pro for some, but for me, shelling out a lot at once and using the software for years vs. paying monthly and getting instant access to every update worked better for me. Since Adobe is the universal standard for creative professionals, you're essentially tied to monthly payments for life.

### "The Must-Have Subscription Plan for Creative Teams"

March 20, 2020

5.0

If you are a team of creatives, a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud is a must for staying relevant and competitive in the content production industry. With access to a full arsenal of diverse and powerful programs at your fingertips, what can't you create within this suite? Adobe makes it easy to collaborate with your team and take advantage of their strong cloud-based platform so that you can continue to impress your clients wherever your projects take you!

Pros

\*Access to ALL of the Adobe Suite Programs \*Automatic Updates \*Sharing information seamlessly across teams \*Bridging projects between programs \*Easy import of Adobe's vast stock library

Cons

There are so many programs that Adobe offers in it's full package that it can sometimes feel like overkill. On the flip side, their targeted packages (photography, video) can sometimes feel like they are just missing 1 or 2 useful programs. I would like to see the option for an "a la carte" approach with the potential for prorated pricing.

Reason for choosing Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe Creative Cloud blows the Apple suite out of the water due to its interconnectivity, homogenous control schemes, and cloud access.

### "Excellent value and useful for small business creatives. "

October 26, 2018

5.0

I use multiple programs on Adobe Creative Cloud with my photography and teaching work.

Pros

Adobe Creative Cloud offers an excellent value with its subscription plan. With the Cloud membership, you have access to all adobe apps, which you can select and download onto your device with one click. Creative Cloud offers you comprehensive access to any tools you might need whether you are a photographer, graphic designer, web designer, or business professional. Something that is particularly important for me, is Creative Cloud's ability to store your personal libraries, making them accessible on other devices. Creative Cloud would be most useful to those who use multiple Adobe programs frequently.

Cons

Creative Cloud can be a lot to handle if you do not necessarily need more than one program. The program themselves can be tough to navigate for beginners. Creative cloud has, however, been more apt to offer a guide to new users. I also wish it were easier to move a file from one program to another in a more efficient way.

### "Adobe Creative Cloud Perfect For Creatives"

November 14, 2018

5.0

I haven't had many bad experiences. CC crashes way less than the prior programs. The only thing I have to say is I wish that Adobe would not relocate some tools. When we learn some of the programs, we learn how to do it a certain way and when Adobe moves a tool, it makes life way more difficult and makes the process of creating a simple project take way longer.

Pros

This is an industry standard. Adobe products are top notch and are used for just about every creative project I've ever worked on. We had to take classes using all of Adobe suite's programs while I was in school, and I like how Adobe Creative Cloud actually piles all of the program's that were in the suites, all into one place. I very much enjoy the tutorials CC has in it as it has helped me refresh knowledge on ways to do certain thing in which I do not use often while working.

Cons

The only con I have with is is that you have to download all of the programs separately. I would prefer to have them all downloaded in one place BUT this is my own personal opinion and not everyone wants all of the programs taking up space.

### "Very useful programs as long as you know how to use them"

March 13, 2019

5.0

I am using Creative Cloud to create my print documents for my clients as well as Dreamweaver to create my Web Documents and emails. I use photoshop as a helper for all of these to edit my images for use in the other applications or on its own to place in our client web applications.

Pros

I use these programs in my everyday work. I use photoshop and Dreamweaver to create my websites, emailers, and banners. I use InDesign for my print work and I love the fact that my XMPie plug in allows me to merge information into my documents without having to manually create several!

Cons

There are some things that are complicated about the software and if I hadn't been properly trained, I would have had a very hard time adjusting to the usage of these products. And the fact that some commands are not universal throughout the programs. That may be a good way to streamline them is to make it so that it is in the same place in Photoshop if you crop an image as it is in InDesign, again just my opinion but it does make things more difficult that you have to know the shortcuts for each program to use them properly.

### "Great value for the money "

December 6, 2018

5.0

Super easy to use. You always get the latest software so no need to have any regrets when you buy the Adobe software for a lot of money to see that a new one came out a month later with newer features. No more fear of missing out! Just update your software online. I can share files of photoshop from my computer to use on my tablet and for my coworker to use.

Pros

I love that everyone in my company can upload work files so that we can access them remotely and across the globe. You can download the Adobe software you need (such as Photoshop, illustrator, and lightroom etc ) for one low monthly. You can download all of them if necessary but I only download what I need.

Cons

Sometimes it is slow to load when I have multiple screens going on.

### "Love the Creative Cloud!"

July 17, 2019

5.0

Adobe Cloud is a great platform overall and one that I would continue to recommend to friends and co-workers.

Pros

The Creative Cloud is awesome because of how many programs and applications you can access and manage at a single location. I use Creative Cloud almost daily to make sure I'm syncing fonts, assets, and maintaining my applications with updates. I also like that it serves as a simple hub for me to see everything that is going on with my workspace.

Cons

There have been times where, by using creative cloud, I've had several instances of a program installed on my machine. I was able to resolve this and get it taken care of, but it did catch me off guard and was a pain point.

### "Great tools for almost everything design-related"

August 19, 2019

5.0

Long term Creative Cloud user and very satisfied. I'm glad that I was able to get the student discount for some time, but I'll definetly keep even at full prie.

Pros

Adobe's software quality speaks for itself, but the integration between applications, software, cloud and pretty much all of their services is a major step-up, considering I've been using it since Creative Suite times.

Cons

There's nothing that I could speak negatively about the suite, but I just miss Captivate in the pack or an alternative that includes it. It made me look for alternatives that can't provide all the integration that Adobe's to offer.

### "Everything you love about Adobe optimized for space-saving"

May 28, 2019

5.0

As a freelancer, the onus is on me to help promote my business with attention-grabbing graphics. Working with limited resources forces me to get creative about making my own designs rather than outsourcing the job to somebody else, and Creative Cloud lets me do that without consuming valuable space on my computer.

Pros

As an avid user of the Adobe PhotoShop suite and other Adobe products, I love that Creative Cloud gives me all the same functionality I'm accustomed to while helpfully dodging my single biggest gripe about Adobe's software: the sheer amount of hard disk space it consumes. Combining everything that makes PhotoShop et al such terrific products with cloud storage was a master stroke.

Cons

My only real misgiving has to do with the price. Adobe products tend to be costlier than other graphic design and illustration programs, and having to pay for upgrades each time they release a new version leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Are the programs worth it for the money? Absolutely. Do I still feel a lump in my throat when I enter my debit card to buy them? You bet.

### "Great for any creative "

August 9, 2018

4.0

I've had wonderful experiences year after year with Adobe CC. Their customer service is exceptional and always there for you no matter the time of day.

Pros

I love the fact that you can choose the type of creative plan to get when looking at creative cloud. Whether its design based, photography based, video based, etc. they have an option for you. Every program works wonders and helps you create the best content you can create. Adobe has outdone themselves with this product.

Cons

The payment structure of annually or monthly, they're both kind of costly if you're just starting out or a small business. If you try to cancel, you have to pay the remaining balance you owe, which is kind of weird.

### "Couldn't work without it"

April 26, 2019

5.0

Pros

Love that Creative Cloud ensures our team always has up-to-date versions of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator on our computers. As a non-profit, it made more sense for us to get on the cloud rather than purchase individual licenses/programs for our computers. I like the flexibility and access offered. We wouldn't have access to all Adobe programs without the Cloud, but because we have it, we're able to accomplish more than we had ever really imagined doing.

Cons

Our team has difficulties with fonts randomly going missing even when we have them installed. It's a simple fix to find them, but pretty annoying and adds an extra step and room for error.

### "A One Stop "Shop" for Multi-media creator"

August 31, 2020

5.0

Best of its class and certainly the most powerful multimedia suite. The annual subscription might scare many non-professional users away

Pros

Adobe Cloud is the best one stop "shop" (service) that gives subscribers access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography. Like all Cloud subscription, it gives you the best and most updated software in no time. Adobe has years of experiences with both video and graphic design software, it definitely integrated well with each other. I have started my "Adobe" journey since Photoshop 3.0. and certainly see the improvement over the years.

Cons

I am old fashioned, I prefer one time license over annual subscription. People argue that Cloud subscription gives you the latest updates in no time. However, to many causal user, even Adobe products from 5 years ago could be powerful enough and have enough features they need. Not all users can take advantages of this latest and greatest. Cloud Subscription is certainly a way for software company to maintain steady revenue.

### "Industry Standard and for Good Reason"

December 6, 2018

4.0

Pros

I have been using the Adobe Creative suite for close to 20 years. Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign are industry standard software and indispensable tools for anyone in visual communication. With the right training there is simply nothing you can't do with this software.

Cons

The constant changing of the user interfaces feels like change for the sake of change rather than for the sake of actual meaningful improvements. Many regular every day features are buried within sub menus. I think the user interface for Illustrator in particular is due for a big overhaul but Adobe seems stuck in their ways a bit and will only make small incremental changes.

### "What would become of me without Adobe Creative Cloud?"

February 9, 2021

5.0

I always save my projects on the Adobe cloud, do my updates on it too, download plugins and other resources that help me to be a better Graphic Designer

Pros

I loved and love the program's ability to save documents that were previously stored on the computer and if the computer was stolen or something like that everything was lost, but with this program saved everything in the cloud and end of story

Cons

What I didn’t like is the fact that it only works on computers with more power, which leads me to understand that it is for a specific type of people, or better, people with financial possibility able to buy high-end computers, the low class people would take years to have such a computer.
