Cons There is definitely a learning curve involved with using some of the products such as Illustrator and Lightbox but here are many resources and tutorials available to help. September 19, 2019 5.0 It provides me everything I need. It's even better for students. The prices are very reasonable. Pros It's funny but my favourite part about this is the font library. I enjoy the CC version of adobe so much. Everything is much easier when it comes to finding new fonts, updates, new programs and can be used on more than one device. Cons Some programs are still quite large so it takes up alot of room on my laptop. I wish there was a way to reduce the size of the software more when using software from a cloud. I am a long time fan. Pros I have been using Lightroom for the last 7 years. The best thing about Creative cloud is that I no longer have to worry about upgrading anymore. You always get the current version with the best feature set. The fact that they also bundle in Photoshop with it as part of the Imaging solution is just the icing on the cake. Works beautifully across my Macbook and desktop PC. And its actually pretty low resource consuming than what it used to be like. Frequent updates are also a great add on. I use Audition several hours a day, every day, and I frequently use PhotoShop. When you get a Creative Cloud account you are free to download and use ALL Adobe products and update them as updates become available (the best part of the deal). I haven't quite figured out what to do with the storage that is offered since I was storing my files on Microsoft's OneDrive prior to getting an Adobe CC Account, but I'm sure there's a benefit to that. I recommend it for sure...and if you are a student or a teacher and can prove it, Adobe gives you a discount. Pros Access to ALL Adobe products and updates as they become available. There are plenty of video tutorials available to teach you how to use software you are not familiar with, or new features programs you do use. Cons The environment gives the impression it is for pros who know what they are doing, which might be a little overwhelming for the average consumer who is learning what Adobe programs offer. The SaaS model is a departure from the days of purchasing software outright, but in 2020 this is our reality. Pros The capabilities of Adobe Creative Cloud cannot be overstated. There is power in each application that is part of the suite, but the CC dashboard itself is nearly an inverse. While the applications are complex, and difficult to navigate, the CC Dashboard is simple, easy, and predictable. Cons The barrier to entry here is high. Jumping right in is difficult, but that's not what the software is for. It is meant to be learned, battled, and obstacle-ridden.
