Thanks Adobe! " February 6, 2018 5.0 Pros I think everyone on earth uses some or all aspects of the Adobe creative suite, so having them cloud based maximizes the ease of use. It makes jumping from one part of the suite to another fairly seamless, and delocalizes everything in a good way. Great for those of us who jump from computer to tablet to laptop for the same project. Cons It doesn't run as fast as I'd like, but my hardware isn't top of the line (more like midline). The updates are also a bit obnoxious. Pros I like the power and the level of functionality that Creative Cloud has. Cons The color management is slightly different between Photoshop and Illustrator and InDesign. The same color value can have different mixtures in each program. This should be more compatible. Non-designers on my team and I can work together on editing using Acrobat Pro. Photoshop is my go-to for editing photos, I use Bridge quite often to create "contact sheets" for my clients. I'm devoted to ACC! Pros I've been an Adobe Creative Cloud (ACC) fan for many years. I can't imagine what software I'd use for design and photo processing if not an Adobe product. The best thing about the ACC is that it operates so seamlessly with my mac. Cons A few keyboard commands have changed. This is a struggle for me since my old habits die hard. A small problem that won't be an issue for most users. I've used Photoshop since the 90s, so I'll get over it as the software changes and improves. Very easy to use. I'm very familiar with Adobe products, therefore, creative cloud versions also very familiar. Have GPU support for rendering of graphics. A lot of tutorials and documentation are available. Pros I have been using Adobe CS packs for a longer time. But the creative cloud version contains a lot of new features supports a lot of new codecs when it comes to video editing. Adobe platform is great for marketing and content creation. After effects for visual effects, Premiere Pro for video and film editing, Photoshop for photo editing etc. The different applications consist with a different user interface that is scientifically designed for specific tasks. The creative cloud version seems to be more optimized than CS versions. Cons Although Adobe is more popular they only support Windows and macOS. There is no compatible version for Linux. I had to run a Virtual machine to get it run on Linux. Other than that the platform is great. Support lot of file types by default. Review Source Mitchell A. Pros In marketing, you can't really exist without Adobe and it does allow you to produce high quality graphics, but it's not without it's difficulties. Cons Using creative cloud with my team, we are forever having issues with syncing. Quite often one person will create a document that another person can't view, and the customer services team don't seem switched on. Adobe was kind enough to recognize how all of us, do not use all of the programs that they offer. Cons Photoshop can unfortunately crash at random, BUT the updates are very consistent with Adobe. Cons It makes my computer slow as ever. If I run Adobe Creative Cloud, I have to limit my use of just about any other program or software on my computer. I use a 2015 iMac that is pretty powerful - I usually have about 30-40 tabs open in Google Chrome, plus about 5 other softwares running. BUT if I use Adobe Creative Cloud - I better be closing literally everything else on my computer out - unless it's just one Google Chrome tab. The revamped Photoshop is fantastic for taking company images and making them look even better. We also like the mobile features for tablets as our team works remotely. Cons Getting the system set up, the accounts going, and cloud integration did take some time. One thing that always irks about Adobe is how much runs in the background or pops up. Otherwise it is very fit for purpose. Adobe Creative Cloud allows us to easily produce great quality work timely and efficiently. Pros The product is very familiar and easy to use since it has been around for so many years. The ability to upgrade the specific programs when new versions are released is very nice. You can upgrade immediately, or wait until any bugs are worked out. Integrates very well into our workflow at the office and allowed us to support our stores as they need. I can almost guarantee that you can accomplish any media creation needs with the suite. Cons The pricing model is my least favorite thing about the software. Pros The Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) was a huge business move by Adobe. I love having all the apps in one place and being able to download whichever ones I need for whatever reason. I use mostly Photoshop and Premiere, and I love how they both run smoothly. I like the new Adobe Premiere Rush for when I am working on the go. Being able to take my video project with me via mobile is a huge advantage. Cons The Adobe CC is a great product, but sometimes I feel like they sneak updates in that can sometimes cause an app to work poorly for me. I have to uninstall the update and hope for a fix before I can update it again. Pros I like that I don't have to worry about updating and installing is just a click away. I've been using Creative Cloud 4 main softwares for print designers — Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat. I love that they keep updating the applications and made them user friendly for designers. Cons I wish they have different packages that you can pick, because I only need Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat, and I most likely will never use the rest of what they offer.
