Once you get past that you are limited only by your imagination. Pros Still one of the best graphics systems out there. Still an Industry Standard for editing pics/vids. July 5, 2018 5.0 The expansive variety of creative software available for use is great. Pros Adobe's creative editing software is most certainly top of the line. Creative Cloud has an expansive amount of features which are updated frequently. The available cloud storage for saving files is an added bonus. Cons Adobe's pricing model has always been anti-user, especially ever since they shifted from requiring a flat fee to a monthly or yearly pricing model. Pricing is also particularly burdensome to single, low-income users who do not qualify for any of their special discounts. (Note that even with those discounts, the cost can still appear outrageously high.) The high cost may also deter users who would not need to use the software on a daily or otherwise frequent basis one might start feeling as if they are simply donating per month of hard-earned money to the company. Adobe users could also benefit from better user instructions and/or some sort of training modules; not all of Adobe's products have intuitive features. Review Source Natalie B. Each program has special uses and can be combined with each other to please client needs. An entire program that sets the bar high for multi-use such as manipulation, page layout, photo editing, illustrations, animating, web design, and much more. All of a designers needs in one go. Not only does it connect from program to program but it can connect to the web too, if you link it, so you can add new material to your portfolio or online resources quickly. Cons I do not like how expensive the software is. They do offer a cheaper version for students though, which is nice. Updates are often and it can change a lot from what you get used to which can be annoying when you like to work a certain way. Review Source Hal Z. Pros You get many professional quality softwares that meet all your needs. I do graphic design in Illustrator and edit videos in Premiere. Media Encoder is very useful, and I use photoshop regularly to do basic edits before creating digital ads. Since I use all these softwares, this is a great package! It is pricey, but if you use many softwares, you get a lot for what you pay Cons Well, I've done most of my digital asset design in Illustrator, and while I have grown used to it and am very comfortable, many people tell me that Sketch has superior functionality for UX and well balanced asset design. The actual creative Cloud application makes it super easy to download, update, and sync you programs and files. In one suite you do almost any creative project for marketing, UX, dev, or design. Adobe fonts is fantastic too, easily accessible. Cons Well it's quite costly, I think they should charge less on a per application basis, let's say you only need illustrator and Photoshop and Acrobat, you shouldn't have to pay for all other programs. The software takes a lot of skill to use, you can't really fault them for that though because that's how you make it as powerful as it is. Review Source Zach S. I've learned a lot through the course of using the programs. If you are a student they do do student deals. There's a program that covers all aspects of graphic design. Pros I do love that you have a choice of the software that you would like to pay for. Being a business owner it's not smart to waste money for programs and things that aren't neccessary. Being forced into buying a bundle because that's the only way to get the products you want at the best price. Cons I least liked that I was force to pay for software every year instead of being able to just purchase a physical copy and not be limited to using program on one machine at a time without paying extra. Since we use a lot of photos, we can easily brighten, crop, rotate etc for great marketing. Pros We deal with so many documents and photos, so Adobe CC helps get our job done quickly and easily! We use Acrobat every day, and photoshop several times a week. Cons I need more training with Photoshop--I'm pretty basic with it. It know it has so much potential to help our business but I don't find it terribly intuitive. I could use tutorials, tips to use it more fully. I also appreciate the automatic updates and not having to constantly purchase tangible software each year. Additionally, I think it's extremely helpful that all the programs link up with one another and it's easy to share information between all platforms and their other features like website creation. Cons It is rather inconvenient that it will randomly log me out of my computer application and give me issues logging back in.
