When we worked on a customizable module with HGI, the support that we received was exceptional. Through the customizations that we've been working on, customer support has always been friendly, timely, and receptive.

Pros

We like the ability of being able to tailor user profiles for each specific user. If the out of the box product is not what we need it can be easily customized for our use with many features. The ability to increase user licenses if needed, is important for our increased usage of HQMS. Using the software can be intimidating at first, but once learned is very easy to use.

Cons

Having the ability to attach unlimited back data is great, but the extra cost of storage space for it is high.

The HQMS system is a well integrated QMS system. It is easy to use and, since all of the required modules are integrated, works seamlessly to meet the QMS requirements.

Pros

All of the input screens are of the same form and easy to use.

Cons

They are slow in updating to new requirements especially between the different ISO standards. AS9100, TS16949, ISO 13485, etc.

Pros

No hassle!! Easy to use, consistent among modules. Excellent customer support - although not often needed! Hosted at vendor's location - doesn't use my IT resources. Accessible via internet anywhere.

Cons

Not marketed well. Hard to convince coworkers of benefits since vendor doesn't have well defined marketing products.

Pros: Excellent customer service, outstanding power of the tool and customization options fit any company. Cons: It is a little cumbersome to get used to how it all works but once over the learning curve, the tool works smoothly and consistently module to module. I have used this product at two different employers. One was a custom version and the other was the commercial version. Both versions worked outstandingly well. Any questions we had were quickly and completely addressed. The tool is very powerful and can meet all QMS needs and makes compliance and auditing a breeze, because it is all in the tool. The company cares about its clients and will follow through with check ups to make sure they are meeting the needs of their customers. Great tool, great functionality, great customer service.
