Would recommend buying stand-alone version vs. paying extra for the hosted/cloud version. Pros Thorough training, and tech support afterwards. Fairly intuitive - had a summer intern using some of the basic functionality within a month Cons Their "cloud" version isn't really "cloud". Instead of access using a simple browser and login, we've had to get our IT team involved to provide specific IP addresses, etc. Speed is also slower than local installed version. Pros 4flow Vista is easy to use and the solver runs very fast. Many features are tailored to solve models in automotive industry (calculate kitting, sequencing costs). Network design works seamlessly with transportation optimization. It's a solid tool to build small to medium scale models. Cons 4flow has a remote desktop version that allows you to access the software on their server remotely. It runs very slow and can hardly being used. Transportation Planner ### "daily user of the product, and it is not worth the money our company spent on it" 1.0 Overall Rating 1.0 1.0 Ease of Use 1.0 1.0 Features 1.0 1.0 Customer Service 1.0 1.0 Likelihood to Recommend 0/10 March 22, 2018 Cons It doesn't speed up the daily work, it actually takes longer to do anything in 4flow than our old system. it overly complicated. it is not user friendly at all. you will mess up and not even know what went wrong because the system is so complicated that you wont know what happened.. this software is a terrible email system. you would be better off just emailing carriers and telling them about shipments to pickup over using this system because you will inevitably mess something up without knowing it using 4flow. i would NOT recommend this software to anyone.
