As an ophthalmology practice with 2 doctors we were back up and running full schedule of patients by week 2 with this system. IO provided excellent live one-on-one hands-on training with staff "living" with your office for 2 weeks in the beginning. We met all Meaningful Use (MU) and PQRS and eRx criteria as well with the government and received our financial incentive timely due to the accuracy of IO. Review Source TG Todd G. A smaller vendor seems to give better service and more personal service, when it is needed. Cons One needs to find a billing vendor that can function with KeyChart. Also- they try very hard to customize forms etc. if at all possible. Cons I was not pleased with support up until recently. However, changes seem to have been made and support is now much improved. From accounting to reporting and recalls, it is everything you need to run an optical shop. Cons The insurance setup is time-consuming. Onsite training would speed up the setup. Furthermore, I am a big fan of web-based products. This has made our startup costs dramatically less than many other EMR products. In addition, the customer support team has been wonderful. Having said that, I feel the pain is minimized by iO Practiceware. The fact that they have live, in-person trainers is important.
