Also, Home-Cost has the ability to be sensitive to local building markets as well as offer a variety of qualities and options. I like that you can get within about 5% +/- with somewhat limited information. The type of information on a Magazine or web page design, along with knowing the level of finishes, will allow you to complete the estimate. I like that you can share the information with prospective clients from a general level to extremely detailed. Using the program gives confidence to them in our expertise. It works well as a "Reality Check" for clients whose expectations are too high. It prevents wasted design time by then allowing you to design to a budget.
