### "Missing Autoclerk"

What can I say that explains it better than: I MISS it!!!!

Pros

The customer support. They were always knowledgeable and friendly!!!

Cons

It was tricky to learn to use in the first place. A bit clunky and not so intuitive for most. It was intuitive-ish to those of us who prefer IBM over Apple. This was, unfortunately, one of the two reasons my boss chose to change systems.

### "Easy to use, reliable and mobile"

Pros

myHMS is amazing! Within minutes of logging on, I can see everything going on at my property! The ability to check remotely from my phone, tablet or computer saves me time that I can devote to guest's needs. For my staff, the simplicity of making a quick reservation is superb, check-ins and check-outs are a breeze and paperless optional, this all creates a smooth and speedy process that our guest appreciates.

Cons

Would like to see more housekeeping features with the ability to assign rooms and track progress. I know they are working on something now.

### "Happy to put MyHMS behind us!"

Pros

Not really anything. MyHMS is quirky, with an older interface built for a different time. It might work well for Best Western, however, it does not work well for a small boutique hotel looking to elevate.

Cons

Having to search for new reservations, and being unable to search by reservation number.

Pros

The help desk provides great customer support. The abilities to customize confirmation letters is fantastic.

Cons

Would like to see the capabilities to bill multiple room walk-in reservations to one folio so there is only one authorization on the guests credit card and it speeds up the process of checking the guest in.

Pros

Works well on a mobile device. Multiple ways to preform many tasks ( reservations, check - ins ...) a They are willing to listen the customer and add features requested.

Cons

There are not defined cash drops for each shift. Would like more options for the housekeeping side.

As someone who uses MyHMS on a daily basis, this PMS is updated semi-frequently, but not always for the better. Inconvenient downtimes (maybe once/twice a month) that last for hours with no explanation, loss of features through updates, constant "glitches" with the credit card tokenization process via Shift4, so on. If you're looking for something to get by, might be worth a look. Using this PMS is mostly straightforward if you can get around the oddities and glitches. If you're looking for something dependable, look elsewhere.

I own and manage several hotels and, as such, travel extensively. With myHMS I can run all my properties from anywhere with my iPad, and can switch between properties seamlessly with myHMS's property QuickSwitch. The new Manager's Dashboard feature gives me all my important metrics at a glance so I can make decisions quickly and effectively. The staff at AutoClerk is always there to help if I have questions and is responsive to my project suggestions.
