Used the software for: ### "Boomi is powerful though still needs some maturing" December 6, 2016 3.0 Dell Boomi is a solid middleware integration platform with plenty of native, system-specific connectors (such as for Google Apps, Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora) and other features that make it a solid contender. For basic ETL integrations, it's excellent. However, for highly sophisticated integrations that involved heavy transformation, it can be a bit less capable. However, it does allow you to embed code (javascript or groovy) and has decent API support, so you can generally work around such shortcomings. Review Source RG Rahul G. Dell Boomi is the best platform for integrating a different kind of applications. But we are unable to find out some of the problems regarding the tool. Some of the connectors we want to use but those are not able to configure easily. We are facing the problems with the groovy script and javascript part from that we can integrate any kind of application. It has become the workhorse we rely on for passing data between systems. The connectors they have pre-built for products like SAP, Dynamics CRM are great. We do face some challenges when a connector has not been built and we have to dig in to figure out the methodology to create the connection ourselves. Generally, we are able to get support from Boomi in this area to get us through any challenges. They come out with more connection capabilities to different applications which really makes it a tool for the future. Cons I don't have anything bad to say about Boomi's software as we are in the early stages of using it, but sometimes having to click on drop down arrows and certain small exit buttons or arrows can be a little bit of a pain. Our project teams use Boomi and my team creates new accounts and adds new products that the teams need. Creating a new internal account is simple and the PRM portal is straight forward. When an error occurs, our account manager is quick to help and provide training. Pros The licensing is easy to use and everything I need is online. Transports are a pain as the extensions gets messed up. Report search is slow and always doesn't give the proper results as per the filters applied.
