Pros: I like the collaboration of all the projects documents, drawings, pictures and files. It is nice not to have all the information in one place instead of one drive, drop box, email, and the server. I also like the weather tracker and the historical weather data. Huge plus!!

Cons: My least favorite task in Procore is uploading submittals. It was labor intensive filling out the excel spreadsheet and then having to send it to customer service to upload.

Pros: Being able to work from the field or office without any hiccups is a huge benefit. The best art of Procore, however, is the amazing customer support. They are available around the clock.

Cons: Lack of granular permissions. I';d like a little more flexibility in permissions within each module. However, Procore is working on this, so it's not so much a con as a "be patient."

Pros: Streamlined slow processes that typically would bog down projects. The site also offers a easy user friendly workspace.

Cons: Cost to Benefit ratio is off and the system does not change the way we work just makes it faster. They system does add streamlined workflows but their costing is to high and will ultimately cause them to be a risky investment.

Pros: Cloud-based. Great customer support. Willing to do the work and research it takes to develop the tools needed in the field.

Cons: The meeting minutes tool is not as intuitive as the rest of the modules, and takes a bit of practice to get used to. Very good documentation once you get through the learning curve.

Pros: Procore connects different parties in a job into one single location. All of the submittals, RFI's, and drawings just to name a few are located in a single area.

Cons: Using the mark-up tools on the drawings can be cumbersome and time consuming at time. I like to mark-up the drawings on Procore through out a project so I can then use them as the As Built drawings at the end.

Pros: I am a project administrator that utilizes Procore for all aspects of the projects I am a part of. We find that it is super beneficial for our commitments, RFIs and submittals, as well as scheduling and document processing. It helps streamline the documentation process as well as getting information to other parties quickly. This system also has been wonderful for generating historical data about our project which can be very hard to collect with as many people as there are typically involved in the construction process. All departments of our company use Procore in some fashion, our superintendents utilize the punch list feature, as well as the drawings tools, daily logs, and manpower logs. We have office personnel that also use it to track commitments and purchase orders as well as documents that are passed between owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Cons: The bidding tools are not yet where they need to be but we have seen major improvement over the course of the last 6 months. We know eventually they will be as easy and efficient to use as many of the other features their software offers.

Overall: There has been nothing but positives when looking at the investment we made and the returns we have experienced. We are finding that we have cut down the submittal process by almost 2 weeks throughout the typical 6 weeks process due to being able to streamline the information for approval.
We have seen a substantial difference in logistic mistakes as superintendents are now being advised when purchase orders are issued and able to track the return of an executed copy. When they find there is nothing in the system this is triggering them to make calls and track down the status of delivery.

Pros: Ease of answering RFI's for the Architect. Having one database where documents are stored and organized throughout the course of the project. These documents can be easily extracted and filed for when a project closes out

Cons: The inspection tool, should have some pre-made templates for inspections on the different types of work (ie, concrete placements, in-wall & above ceiling inspections, etc.)

Pros: I like being able to link related documents together. for example, I like being able to look at one single daily log, and see the related invoices, drawings, people, weather etc.

Cons: there is alot of time that goes into collecting and connecting everything. It is only useful occasionally, but when it is it does save us alot of time.

Pros: As the IT manager, I love the fact that it is cloud based and I don't ever have to worry about a Windows update to a server or a firewall bug creating a problem for 30 - 100 people shutting down all the projects. Even with a Terminal Server Farm, there are still single points of failure that are cost-prohibitive for a small GC to pay for.

Cons: I think the financial integration is the most troublesome feature. This has never been an issue that any software vendor has been able to fix though. Even the very high end systems require significant customizations in order to fit any organization.

Overall: Very low overhead to support this software. Huge improvements in user productivity. We couldn't do what we do as efficiently or effectively without it. Major change to the business.

We are currently being trained on software use and customizing our documents.

Pros: The mobile app seems to be a very user friendly platform to encourage useage in the field. Looking forward to seeing how it works in a "live" setting as we start rolling out projects.

Cons: Because it captures so many aspects of Construction Management, it is a little challenging to learn where all of the features are and determining the most effective way to get to and use each feature.

Overall: It has all of the standard project management tools housed under one system now.

Pros: 1) No more duplicate input
2) Ease of using submittal & RFI functions that used to be very cumbersome
3) Drag and drop saving....everyone is saving things to the system now!

Cons: The system needs to be open to more company customization without having to involve ProCore. When we need to change certain things it can often take days, and we don't always have that kind of time. Also, sales people told us there were certain things we would be able to do but found out we couldn't after implementation. That was not cool.

Pros: One stop shop. The software can be used from Concept through close-out and is vital all the way through. It allows for either stand-alone of collaberative style projects.

Cons: The meeting minutes tool is not as intuitive as the rest of the modules, and takes a bit of practice to get used to. Very good documentation once you get through the learning curve.

Comments: Seems to be some overlap between Bluebeam and a couple versions of Procore; just how does Procore distinguish itself from Bluebeam and why do some firms make use of both applications...? Would also like to know if there is any difference(s) at all between the windows based and the Apple versions offered by Procore?

Pros: Set up on two platforms; the company level and the project level for those working on 1 or 2 projects only. Took several Procore certified courses as offered on the company website and without having the software to follow along -- instruction offered was clear, concise and covered quite a bit of material.

Cons: Would be nice to offer a trial version of Procore in order to follow along with the tutorials. Have heard from General Contractors that the estimating and scheduling features are not as developed as other programs currently in use.

Comments: Good program, easier to use and more functionality than other similar programs I've used.

Pros: Used the program as a subcontractor. It was great to be able to see real-time status of the project documents. Sometimes the subcontractors can fall out of the loop, but this program allowed me to track my submittals, RFIs, etc. The filters bar was very helpful to weed through hundreds of documents.

Cons: As a subcontractor, I did not get notices that documents were posted. This required checking the program regularly which takes time. There was also no way to see any connections / impacts of my work with other trades.

Pros: - Making their software very user friendly. Pretty easy to learn, and customizable to fit our needs.
- Providing excellent customer support, where the people are always friendly, and readily available (not a 15 minute hold time away).
- Developing an easy platform to navigate large project drawing books quickly, compare drawing revisions, and make notes on the drawings.

Cons: - It's expensive and may be hard to justify for smaller construction companies.
- Their OCR still has trouble reading "handwriting" fonts, which can really slow down the drawing uploading process.
- Their Drawing system will not flip pages within a PDF. Occasionally, a GC will send us the pages turned portrait instead of landscape, and we have to use third party software to flip the pages the correct orientation.

Overall: - Saves time in sorting drawings and specifications.
- Saves time in compiling drawing notations for RFIs.
- Saves time in being able to quickly compare drawing revisions, and confirm which revision is the most recent.

Pros: Really good for RFIs, Bidding, and Submittals. It is easy for all members of the design, construction, and ownership teams to use.

Cons: Does not have an accounting feature. It will talk to several different ones but it is quite expensive to pay for both.

Pros: I like the training tools that are available out of the box. We are able to direct new hires to the Procore Fundamentals training videos in order to familiarize them with the software, which means we don't have to do 1 on 1 training sessions except on an as needed basis.

Cons: It is pricey and and is a big ongoing financial commitment. This might not be the best solution for a small company, but once you're established there isn't anything better.

Overall: It improves efficiency due to everything being self contained within one program. It is even cutting down on our company's reliance on dedicated server storage as we migrate to fully utilizing the Procore documents features.

Pros: Manages and uploads plans to one place and allows for drawing edits for all appropriate parties to see.
Allows users to make changes to things that have been submitted, while also automatically informing all appropriate parties of the changes.
Sends reminders to clients and subcontractors about answering RFIs that would otherwise have been forgotten about.

Cons: The online video demonstrations of how to use all of ProCores tools can be a little hard to watch. It's not that the videos are particularly difficult to understand, but the aren't the most stimulating thing to sit through and watch. They tried their best to break it down by providing quizzes and shorter videos, but when you look at how much material there is to learn in one course, it's daunting.

Overall: Procore is great for uploading photos from the field, straight to the desired project and it's also great to use it for bringing up specific information for the subcontractor to view on the field.

Pros: he organization and tracking of construction documents, drawing tools, RFI's, tracking of submittals, trade contact information based on the project. Scheduling is amazing and easy to track delays via change orders, weather, or whatever occurs, The support centre is always available to answer any questions and you can do that via a live chat or the phone. They really have the customer and customer satisfaction in mind

Cons: The accounting system for Canada needs some work. The GST is not an automatic calculation and needs to have a line within the budget to be processed. The reports aren't as customizable as I would like and the requisitions aren't as easy to work with

Pros: Ease of use- Even our not so tech savvy guys are using this with little to no issues.
mobile app - Allows real time access to the latest drawings and information in the field
Drawings management - The ability to review changes and revisions easily and so quickly is a wonderful tool.

Cons: By default the creator of each item (Submittal, RFI, ASI, etc) is sent an email eveytime anything is done with that item. I have not found a way to opt out of these emails, which would be nice. As I am the procore admin so its my job to upload and maintain all of these items on behalf of the project managers so when changes are occuring its 9/10 times because I am in fact making the change. It floods my email and makes me overlook other important emails from Procore as a result. Would like to see an opt out function.

It strives to be a one stop shop for everything project related. rfi's, submittals, change orders, issue tracking, that all been done before but then your often going to other programs for drawings, rfi posting, change order posting, etc... finally all this in under one roof and linked.

Pros: Procore helps to put everything for your project in one place. So much easier to keep track of all your documents from drawings to change orders for each project. You can stay on top of the bidding process with great ease and when disputes, questions, or problems arise all your info is in one place.

Cons: Procore isn't a software that takes a day to learn. It takes time and effort to learn all the different aspects of it and how best to use it within your company. Besides the time requirement, there is really nothing else negative to say about Procore.

Pros: Procore is very easy to use and has an easy to understand interface. It requires very little training for new users to understand, and allows you to coordinate and monitor multiple large projects. Procore gets the job done.

Cons: Definitely need a lot of work on the mobile side of things. Their mobile apps leave a lot of critical features off, and this really bothers me. Additionally, because of the design, you have to use a windows based computer with IE to access full functionality.

Increased oversight and accountability.

Cons: Does not integrate with our accounting system. The permissions are not as detailed as we would like.

Comments: Once you learn the basics it becomes a snap!

Pros: I like that I have access to everything I need in the palm of my hand that helps me avoid followup when I return from the field.

Cons: Data entry isn't as easy as a traditional Excel system. Sometimes pages fail to load and it's hard to switch from tab to tab if you only have one screen open.

Procore is awesome great way to communicate with everyone involved on the project

Pros: Customer service is extremely helpful. Everything is in one spot. Easy to work with most of the time.

Cons: Using some of the features is extremely tedious and time consuming if at times. There are issues within each aspect such as unapproving a change order if others have been approved with it or getting the company directory to be easily used by everyone in your company.

All of our employees use Procore on a regular basis.

Pros: The thing I like most about this software is that it keeps things nice and organized. Our employees and subs like that because it's easily accessible.

Cons: The thing that I like least about this software is that they do updates in the middle of the day. It is extremely irritating when I get a note from an employee letting me know that they are unable to access something in Procore because they've decided to run an update in the middle of the day. Also, we are not always able to access certain things and when we reach out to customer support, they'd rather send us an article than go over it with us, although we've explained that we are short on time.

Pros: intuitive interface makes navigating a breeze, great support which is very helpful and always available through chat,

Cons: Software is constantly changing which makes it difficult to learn when they are things change everytime you login and they do have more server downtime then they claim and they are fairly expensive since they grow when your business grows

Comments: Great software! Should focus more on performance.

Pros: Customizeable. Ease of use. Aesthetically pleasing. All of the functionality is present. Ability to communicate in the software is pleasing.

Cons: Extremely laggy at times. Pages loaded extremely slowly. Support was not as easily accesible as it should be for the price.

Procore listens to their users and is constantly implementing new updates to improve their product.

Pros: Procore is very easy to pick up and use efficiently. For construction, it is easy to add new members, orientate them, and turn them loose to use the software. The software makes the document control process of a project, and streamlines it into one, easy to use platform that can take you from the start of the project, all the way through closeout.

Cons: If you don't use all of the features of the product it may seem bulky. At times the software is negatively impacted by poor CPU and/or internet performance.

Comments: It's the best software in the industry.

Pros: Ease of use for our associates and clients. Integrates with other software fairly well and continues to grow. Amazing customer service and adapting to changing technologies.

Cons: Need to continue to improve the amount of integration with financials and preconstruction. It has come a long way, but not fully there yet.

Pros: User friendly. It is a one stop shop and allows you to do all your construction needs and one app.

Cons: It doesn't save your photos in the program. What I mean by this is you have to keep your photos on your phone till the projects done when you create a punch list and attach a photo on there if you aluminate the photo from your camera roll and no longer is linked to the punch list

Pros: The things I like the most about Procore are how much time the software saves you by not having to manually create logs for RFI, Submittals, Change order etc. I also like how easy it is to access "how to videos" should you get stuck on a tool.

Cons: I do wish Procore had some sort of a feature which would allow you to integrate material procurement operations along with everything else that is on Procore.

Pros: Easy to use and learn. Almost all the features are able to talk to each other. Great way to stay organized and have everything in one place.

Cons: Slow at peak times of the day. Exporting data takes a while. Not fully customization to company polices.
