### "Pricey But Well Worth It"

August 3, 2025

5.0

I do AIA billing for several different clients that use Procore and am completely satisfied with everything that I have used. I have worked with Procore for over eight years.

Pros

I really liked that it is extremely user-friendly with a short learning curve. There are also video instructions to help with any questions so you don't have to wait for someone to help you.

Cons

It is a little pricey, but if you have enough clients, it is well worth the extra cost. There are other alternatives, but if you can afford it, I don't think there is another product out there that can match it.

Alternatives considered

[Oracle Textura Payment Management](https://www.capterra.com/p/181520/Oracle-Textura-Payment-management/)

Reason for choosing Procore

Procore was chosen due to its user-friendliness and ability to track multiple projects.

### "Incredible Package for GCs"

May 28, 2025

5.0

We still use ProCore for project management, but not for estimating. It's a great package overall, but the cost justification was just too great.

Pros

Procore is a very comprehensive construction management package. It has it all - project management, document management and a fantastic estimating toolbox.

Cons

The price - Procore is by far, the most expensive solution that we reviewed. While it more than ticked the tickboxes in terms of functionality, the value for money just wasn't there and ultimately, we went with another solution.

Reason for choosing Procore

### "My opinion on Procore"

August 11, 2026

5.0

Pros

Procore provides my project managers and field technicians with complete visibility into site installation progress. The app centralizes drawings, change orders, and real-time safety tracking.

Cons

Procore's extensive feature set comes with a steep learning curve for team members unaccustomed to complex digital tools.

### "Procore is THE WORST!"

May 19, 2025

1.0

Terrible. Could not be any worse. I actively avoid using Procore and it's use on a project will keep me from quoting that project.

Pros

There is nothing I like about Procore. I would rather that contractors use ANY OTHER project management software. Why would anyone pay to use this awful wsite?

Cons

So many things wrong with Procore! It makes me change my password too often - every 3 months! Why? Is someone going to steal my password and log on to do my work for me? It's not a financial site and it does not need a new password! Also, when I do manage to log on (always a huge chore) the interface is completely non-intuitive. It's very difficult to find what I need. Why pull downs with topics that make no sense? Why is it so many steps to get to newly released drawings? I cannot figure out why so many people use this site for project management! It must be way cheaper than the competition. Companies that pay for Procore please take note - using Procore for your projects makes me less likely to quote those projects!

I did not - I am forced to use it by other companies.

### "Great tool for GC's and subs alike"

June 1, 2026

4.0

Overall, Procore is an indispensable tool and one without which I'm unsure how we'd be able to coordinate jobs. The fact I can be given access to other company's systems as well as grant access to our vendors makes it the first place I go to or refer others to whenever a question arises. That alone demonstrates its value.

Pros

The best thing about Procore is the real time updating of drawings and progress pics so everybody on my team knows where we stand without having to reach out and start an email chain. There's accountability, QC checks, deficiency reports, easy vendor contract access, change order history, etc.

Cons

There's much to be desired as far as intuiting workflows. Often features, some very necessary to proceed with certain tasks, can be in funny, hard to find drop down menus.

### "Procore for the superintendent"

October 15, 2025

4.0

It is nice that you can find everything you need for a specific project all in one app. The owner can also interface with you, which is great for change orders and or product selections.

Pros

I like how you can use the app on your phone when your out on a job site. You can even upload pictures.

Cons

It takes a lots of training to get use to it, espacially if you are using several differents modules.

### "My indispensable control tower in the field and at the office"

June 11, 2026

5.0

A drastic reduction in execution errors and delays. I feel immense peace of mind knowing that all technical and financial documentation is perfectly traceable, secure, and accessible in one click, saving me from stressful disputes with subcontractors.

Pros

Working in the construction sector, Procore has totally revolutionized the way I manage job sites. What I prefer above all else is the absolute centralization of information. I can check the latest up-to-date plans directly on my tablet from the field, annotate anomalies in real-time, and create non-conformance reports instantly. Managing RFIs (requests for information) and change orders happens seamlessly, which eliminates expensive misunderstandings. It is the ideal tool to bridge the gap between office teams and workers on site, as everyone has access to the exact same version of the truth.

Cons

The cost of this application is simply astronomical. It is clearly reserved for large organizations or major projects because the financial investment is heavy. Furthermore, its functional richness is a double-edged sword: the learning curve is particularly steep. I had to spend numerous hours training myself and configuring the tool before it became smooth to use. I have also noticed that the mobile app is a true battery and storage hog, which proves problematic during long days on a job site without any way to recharge.

### "10/10 Would Recommend as a Construction and Facility Maintenance Company"

July 2, 2026

5.0

Pros

I am OBSESSED with using Procore. Our company has relied on this platform for many years now, and it's how we run all our projects. It's extremely easy to learn, and the UI is very simple. Customer support is always quick, kind, and helpful.

Cons

They're constantly improving their platform, which is great, but sometimes the new features can be buggy or, in full transparency, never really needed to be updated in the first place. An example is the photos tab - used to have pages, but now is just an endless scroll which makes it hard to find specific photos without having to scroll for hours.

### "Procore Project Management"

My overall experience with Procore is great. I mostly work on the commitment side but I love the all employees have access and keeps all project documents organized.

Pros

Cons

I really don't have any problems with Procore. No complaints, everything works well for me. Keeps me organized.

### "Procore: The steer of our construction projects"

July 9, 2026

5.0

Pros

rocore is the Rolls-Royce of construction management. The field mobile app is a benchmark, allowing users to take a photo of an anomaly on a piping line, link it directly to the drawing, and instantly assign it to the relevant subcontractor. Budget tracking and change order management provide total transparency highly valued by leadership.

Cons

For small, routine maintenance projects, the heavy administrative processes imposed by the tool can sometimes slow down execution instead of accelerating it.

### "Procore My control tower on construction sites"

May 12, 2026

5.0

A drastic reduction in communication errors. I save a lot of time by avoiding unnecessary back-and-forth and I ensure that everyone is working on the same versions of the plans.

Pros

In the construction sector, this is a revolution for me. I can consult the latest plans directly on my tablet, annotate anomalies in real-time, and send them to subcontractors. Centralizing documents (RFIs, submittals) prevents expensive misunderstandings. It’s the tool that finally bridges the gap between the office and the field.

Cons

The price is very high, which makes it more suitable for large projects or big companies. I’ve also noticed that the mobile app consumes a lot of battery and data, which is sometimes problematic on isolated job sites.

I have worked with Procore now for 9 years as Senior PM and now as a Project Executive. It is an invaluable tool to run the complicated jobs that we build.

Pros

Documentation and plan management aspects are great. It allows the entire team to be on the same page and tracks/ manages all key documents.

Cons

Restricted format of reports. Would like them to be more friendly to share in presented form in an OAC meeting

### "Powering and automating project management with Procore is the secret to maximizing efficiency and profitability of construction projects"

March 11, 2025

5.0

Procore put an end to manual project data entry and synced with our tools and project workflow thus reducing time spent on repetitive task . Procore provide realtime updates and ensure that all the stakeholder are aligned to the latest project information and keeps our project lifecycle transparent. Improved communication and collaboration are our real hit because procore has enabled seamless interaction between office staff and the field through shares dashboards, instant messaging and RFI management . Additionally it is our central repository for all project documents and offers powerful search function that simplifies access of important files and even better cloud technology allow us to securely access project data from anywhere on any devices and the mobile app works offline and updates cloud once connected to internet.

Pros

Procore allow us to access an extensive construction database to select materials and then use its digital takeoff feature to efficiently estimate material and labour cost. In addition, it streamlines our bidding process by enabling us to effortlessly create bids using the estimates calculated. Procore provide us with visibility into project progress and enable us track daily project activities helping us to assign and manage tasks and effectively allocate equipments and resources . Also it has made it easy for our teams to manage and access project information, latest versions of construction drawings and project photos from one central location. It includes tools for tracking and managing projects costs by providing an end -to- end visibility of financial performance

Cons

I love every bit of procore because it has redefined how we plan, run and manage our complex construction projects and enable us to successfully jiggle and complete multiple projects without any hassles.

Pros

Great piece of software that works really work and has some superb features such as a drawing storage tool that keeps all revsions and updates automatically as soon as a new one is uploaded.

Cons

Maybe a bit too good and have too many features for a smaller company like ours - apparently it is also very costly

Pros

Cons

### "We moved to Procore from an onpremise system and the support headaches went away and productivity up"

November 16, 2017

5.0

Very low overhead to support this software. Huge improvements in user productivity. We couldn't do what we do as efficiently or effectively without it. Major change to the business.

Pros

As the IT manager, I love the fact that it is cloud based and I don't ever have to worry about a Windows update to a server or a firewall bug creating a problem for 30 - 100 people shutting down all the projects. Even with a Terminal Server Farm, there are still single points of failure that are cost-prohibitive for a small GC to pay for.

Cons

I think the financial integration is the most troublesome feature. This has never been an issue that any software vendor has been able to fix though. Even the very high end systems require significant customizations in order to fit any organization.

My experience with Procore over the last 9 years has been very positive. I love the certification feature and How To videos when training new employees in Procore.

Pros

The ease of use and the extensive modules for multiple users. Our company uses most available modules and have been able to work with Procore on customizing most to exactly what we need.

Cons

In the Directory, if one of our users enters an email incorrectly, we cannot correct this once the invitation has been sent. We end up having to set up this user again and making the incorrect entry inactive.
