The drawings tool and ability to organize your RFIs and Submittals to share with Subcontractors is amazing. Depending on how much you want to use it in the field you can us it to collect contractor documents but that will have to be either through the daily log tool or the submittals to. Pros As a person who uses both her computer and I-pad everyday Procore is great to use as I can take photos in app on my I-pad in the field and then go to my desk and review those same photos for reports. Other pros for Procore is the ability to overlay drawings on the I-pad. It makes reviewing changes from each set easier. If you would like to generate templates for reports the report tool can give you some options. Cons The Procore cost management tool can be clunky when I was using. I know that Procore was working in it but the budget tool also falls under this area. The procurement tool is also not existent and its just a after thought in the submittals tool. Our company has relied on this platform for many years now, and it's how we run all our projects. It's extremely easy to learn, and the UI is very simple. Customer support is always quick, kind, and helpful. Cons They're constantly improving their platform, which is great, but sometimes the new features can be buggy or, in full transparency, never really needed to be updated in the first place. If it were not for Procore we would still be doing a lot of things by paper and this app just makes everything run so smooth from the office to the job site. Pros The centralized project documentation and the cloud base. I like how easy it is to receive view and sign change orders for projects. The lay out of the app is also very super user friendly. It makes it very easy to communicate to and from the contractor. Cons On thing I do not like is the slow load time. Since most companies we work with use Procore, it's an invaluable tool to have to keep track of everything we do! Pros Procore has completely changed how we do business with GC's. From my end, I love the real time updates I get when drawings are updated and how easy it is to follow RFIs that may affect us in the future. The submittals function is also a huge plus for us so we can easily keep track of our submittals and the notifications we get when they have been approved. Cons The one thing that can be improved upon the the compare drawings feature. I love the certification feature and How To videos when training new employees in Procore. Pros The ease of use and the extensive modules for multiple users. Our company uses most available modules and have been able to work with Procore on customizing most to exactly what we need. Cons In the Directory, if one of our users enters an email incorrectly, we cannot correct this once the invitation has been sent. We end up having to set up this user again and making the incorrect entry inactive.
