Easier communication between our field and office staff. Pros Customer Service is a dream - I love being able to connect quickly and chat with a rep immediately. Cons Sometimes there are a lot of changes that seem very small, but make a big difference in our daily work flow. I don't mind the changes, as that means procore is constantly upgrading their software. I do wish they informed us better about those changes. I like that I can keep track easily of my submittals, RFI's and Change orders in one location and I can see where it is at as far as whose court it is in. Pros I have only used ProCore with certain jobs that require the GC's to use to keep track of everything and anything that pertains to the job. Example: When I do my submittals for a brand new job, I have to submit in ProCore. This allows everyone to see what has been submitted, when it was submitted and who is the responsible party. This is a great because it's easy to keep track of and you can see whose court it's in and if they are taking too long to respond you can click on their name and send them a message. Cons The only thing I would say negative is you receive everyone's response whether or not it pertains to you. This would be my only down fall. I receive at least 15 ProCore emails a day that has nothing to do with our company and it's only because the way it's set up to send out to everyone working on that job. Review Source Claudenice B. Pros The interaction with all project stakeholders is the must!Time savings in sharing of documents, and being user friendly is a very positive aspect of of PROCORE. Cons When it crashs or slows down when you are trying to get work done and have RFIs or Submittals issued for review is something that needs to be fixed. It does not occur in a dalily basis; however, I have experienced it a couple of times. It is very useful that the software allows us to see the most up to date information and plans, lead tender processes and share documents all on one platform. Cons I think that there is some work that could be done to make it easier to shift through plans in Procore. One major functionality that I was not able to figure out in Procore was how to view the entire set of plans that were up to date at a certain point in time in order to analyze a change order. I have also done many construction bids through Procore, it would be better if it was a little bit easier to compile tender packages directly on the program. I also find that the program sometimes will run very slow for all users. This often makes it difficult to properly review plans and changes. Review Source MB Marnie B. It helps making document control much neater and easier to track. it is user friendly. Cons The price going up each year. When I contact customer support they don't always know the issue often I have to explain to them how it works. I don't like when a change is made with no option to opt out. All doesn't work for everyone. Procore has helped us greatly in defining where things go and how they are communicated out. Pros Where do i start! Procore has changed the way data flows from the office to the field and vice versa. Our company likes that we know exactly where the most up to date information is at all times on our projects. Cons Permissions. You can't give someone access to all jobs without adding them to every job, unless they are directory admins. Changes made to the company level affect all the projects underneath that company and many settings are only at the Company level so if your projects aren't VERY similar to each other this may not work out well. February 9, 2017 5.0 Procore provides the most comprehensive construction management software for use on the Jobsite. Their software allows Project Managers, Superintendents, Foreman, Safety, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Engineers, Owners and other support staff to work together for the common goal of providing a project well organized and documented. Information flows easily through the system to all appropriate individuals and allows all involved access to any information they need at any time from any location. This software is very robust and is still improving every day. Support is one of Procore's best assets. It doesn't matter if you are a new user seeking an answer to a basic question or an advanced user looking a something very technical or needing added features the live chat and all other avenues of support are quick and knowledgeable to handle any issue. In my opinion, Procore is the gold standard of construction software and should be on the top any contractors list looking for a new document and project management system. Pros The software as a whole is a very strong asset. I would also have to list their support, innovation, attention to detail, proactive stance on finding new solutions to old problems. Pros It is user friendly and has so many tools that helps you to keep track of your entire project in just one place. Cons It needs a bit more of integration between other programs like Primavera P6, for example. Also, it does not have the otion for the Construction Manager to work with a multi-prime project. September 21, 2022 4.0 Training seminar was outstanding; the demonstration really made things "click" especially for the set-up process. Since then, we made some set-up changes which has helped utilize the features. Pros Once you've set-up the back end, it becomes quite easy to manage projects, communicate within the system and across various contractors, and to track the status of change orders or other needs. Cons The set-up might take a bit longer depending on how your project is designed--multi-primes or various phases of a project. Once that work is done, it seems to get simpler. No longer do we have to look for a print, a file on a shared drive server or written note that had that important contact information on it. Benefits will continue to grow alongside procore as it continues to be improved upon Pros Everything in one location, drawing management, ability to track what has or hasn't been done. Procore support has been second to none and it's great to see a product that consistently makes improvements on a regular basis rather than every once and a while. Cons 1\. Scheduling tool is almost useless if you want to update it daily. The ability to create and modify the schedule without having to go through a third party would be a great improvement. The ability to do so from the app would be an added bonus. 2. Great for managing an overall project but not great for workplace collaboration within your own company. I find many using other programs to help with that aspect and it would be great if procore allowed easier communication between project team members Review Source Clement Z. It allows us to organize and keep straight all of the drawing revisions and changes made throughout design and construction. Pros Procore is a cloud based program that our team utilizes on all devices, cell phones, laptops, ipads, desktops etc. It is fluid information that can be used by the guys in the field implementing the work, and by admins like us who are able to see approval statuses of submittals and RFIs. Cons I have been waiting for features such as submittal PDF markups that can be done within Procore instead of having to download off the website and re-upload. They are now making this a feature! February 21, 2018 5.0 Pros This is one of the best built apps for doing business that I've ever used. It's functionality and ability are top notch. The user interface feels like it was actually designed by people that have to use it, rather than some designers who will never use the product. Customer support is top notch, the problems are few and far between and when an issue arises, there is usually already an update available to remedy it. Cons There were some issues in the past involving not being able to access all of the info such as RFI's or addendums that were available on the web version, on the app. However all of these problems have been cleared up and I haven't run into and any issues in a few months. The account managers are a step above the average digital sales operatives. They will definitely take more market share with the introduction of the analytics division. Pros The ability to track and distribute multiple snags / punch lists in a Modular Build. The easy adoption and ability to quickly set up the contractors and share tasks is advantageous. The mobile experience is a big plus as well. Cons I can not speak to a lot of features as I would not consider myself a power user. I mostly access Procore to view construction drawings. Cons I would say the cons about viewing the documents has to be the filtering of what documents are trying to find. When viewing a document after filtering a search.
