ProCore as a company seems to stand for the betterment of the Constructions Industry, the Value and Safety of the People, and Economics of every detail from the Design table to Ribbon Cutting. I am grateful for the opportunity to be included and grow even though I wear heals and pearls instead of a hard hat and boots! Pros I love that ProCore is an inclusive product that is constantly evolving and growing to meet the greater need of global construction industry. Cons I always want to know more! Projects can be managed and tracked easily without compromising privacy as not everyone can have access to it due to permissions you can only hand to specific people by creating private folders Pros You literally have the answer to managing a lot of tasks easily. if you easily lose track of your tasks then your problem is solved. Don't even get me started on the fact that you get to have unlimited cloud space whichis perfect for documentation. forget about losing information to viruses and accidental deletes. Cons Though it becomes easy when you get a hang of it, Procore can be very hectic when one is new to the software. you have to take their tutorial seriously or you can't be able to use it at all. In short, it is not ideal for slow learners. To have such a software as necessary tool really has helped myself become organized, clear and focused since the software does the nuts and bolts of keeping everything where I can focus more on my scope of work Pros Years ago project management dreamed of only having a tool such like procure. Back before this software, the organization of a construction project was let’s say more verbal and pen and paper. To succeed in today’s world this software has made managing jobs more organized and a resource for plans, submitted items and just about anything. Cons In the beginning I found it not as easy to navigate through the sets of architecture plans and during some conference calls instead of being right away for me took me more than should. Pros Procore is constantly evolving their process and making it better for not only the industry, but for our team. Cons The cost seems to be a big issue and some of the change management and pay app processes can be an issue. Before the switch to Procore, we were managing projects with multiple softwares and folder systems. Having everything in one place, and on the cloud, was a huge improvement. Consistency in field reports and management. Executive level visibility to the day to day scenarios on each project. Pros The ease of use is great, however the customer support and product development is the real game changer. They listen to feedback and they make changes. They are constantly changing things for the better. Cons The lack of integration with my current ERP system is my only complaint. However, I believe so much in Procore that I am entertaining other ERP's that are already integrated with Procore. Review Source Puru P. We can easily search for our drawings and all information about it from here. We are tracking all job aspects with it's help. We have organised so many documents. We use it on phone and send emails of attachment on the go. Pros It has very easy navigation and provides a seamless experience. We have so much knowledge about the project which can be tracked easily for progress. It is very user friendly. All the glitches were solved so fast by the support and it shows their professionalism. Multiple users using multiple softwares and files to track project level data, with no company wide consistency. Procore has helped us get all our project managers on the same platform using the same tools to manage day to day construction. Pros Accelerated learning curve. Great support structure and staff. Solid base of tools to get the day to day stuff done. I'm a big fan for what it has done for us so far. Cons Lack of an open platform like salesforce. Makes the development of custom tools difficult and very time consuming waiting for procore staff to create custom fit solutions. the platform as it stands now is not geared to multifamily projects with multiple buyer interactions, leaving us with cumbersome work arounds. Tools promised years ago still not delivered(such as adding change orders to specific cost codes versus a CO line item at the bottom of a G703), really hinders our full implementation. February 7, 2020 5.0 My experience with ProCore has been nothing short of delightful. It has streamlined my productivity as an estimator and I feel more organized and in-the-know than ever before. I would recommend ProCore to anyone in the market for new project management software. Pros I love that ProCore gives me the ability to communicate with general contractor's through multiple platforms. Any time an addenda or RFI response is published, I receive an email telling me exactly what has changed, then I'm able to go straight to the site to see more information. Cons ProCore has a lot of features and, at times, their site can be a bit difficult to navigate through. I think that maybe consolidating some things would make this easier. Procore gives a easy navigation solutions, with an always tracking task feature over e-mail that will help you to leverage the tasks using defined roles. Procore Training path is well defined for each role within the construction project. Cons It can be complicated sometimes and can take some time to learn about all the features. E-mail notifications can overwhelm the pace of first response to tasks assigned to project team members. It's expensive so think twice before you run into start a purchase process, if your construction project won't allow you to invest in such high quality project management software solution don't you precipitate you could find other cheaper solutions. Pros Good initial onboarding and training from the company. This was very helpful so IT did not have to train. Easy to administrate. We were able to train a user to help facilitate some of the admin responsibility. Drawings are easy to edit and file storage is helpful. Project flow is great and has been helpful. Cons It is not easy to integrate with other platforms and requires assistance from the company. They should make that an easier process. Phone app is good but has room for improvement. Downtimes (which thankfully are not frequent). Waiting for improvements that you know are being worked on (I'm impatient... And there are so many great things on the road map). Controller Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Procore Review 2.0" July 1, 2025 4.0 Since my last review our company has introduced tablets in the field so our installers have one and they are able to view Procore from the tablet rather than having to print paper and that has been a huge help. Pros I like that the system generates the pay application for you once you setup the SOV one time and automatically updates the previously billed value on each pay app. This saves my AR person a lot of time during the billing process. Cons What I like least is the way the system works in regard to giving people access to the project in their Procore account. I believe each person has to be invited to each project individually but I wish that if one person from our company was invited it would automatically give access to everyone else with a Procore account at our company automatically rather than having to stop and get the GC to invite more people. I also still wish there was a digital notary option for signing pay apps as well as a digital option for the signature being notarized. Review Source RH Rebecca H. Functionality of the program can benefit many types of management styles and be an asset in organizing a company's database even with some minor issues in the software. It is definitely a really good option to look at and find out if it is a good fit for your company! Pros Construction platform that connects all company devices together on a "Cloud" like system. All files are in one place and can be accessed anywhere and at anytime. Like any program it does take some getting used to since it is a more complicated system to use. It does have great features that makes the upgrade worth the hassle and for the most part makes organizing much easier. Uploading and downloading documents and files is still very simple and done the same as with any other data saving system. It does have unlimited storage and an app that is compatible with any device as well. Cons Customizing admin rights at different levels can be challenging at times and initializing the new system can be met with resistance. The most difficult part can be training and getting everyone up to speed with how the system works and its functionality. There are minor issues with the drawing tool and markups that need to be changed as the system matures. Most of the issues will probably be dealt with as time goes on and are not huge inconveniences for the time being. Review Source JC Jerri C. For a few months in the summer, I was sent online links to solve my problem. 10 times out of 10, they were pages I had visited BEFORE I started the Live Chat. When I get a "link" as a solution, I often will end the chat immediately and start over, hoping to get a different rep. OR I'll pick up the phone and call in order to talk to a live person. I hope Procore is not outsourcing... It doesn't work well. Pros For ease of use, it's the videos, online message boards, live chat that make it doable. For features - again it's ease of use, the many tabs which to choose from, budget items, the fact it syncs with Sage accounting, the document control. Cons The directory - adding existing contacts to other companies is very tricky, often un-doable if the e-mail is the same. So is deactivating them from the project/company. The Inspection tab - creating the pas/fail option to templates takes more time than it should. The Observation tab is more like the Inspection, less like a real observation of an area. I'd like to be able to enter several items from a one report, not create new observations for each individual cost code. The budget tool - once it's locked, it's locked! Requires a call to Procore. Interagting new software. My company switche from Quickbooks to Sage. Procore suppor was an integral part of the intergration. There was a delay on the Procore side. We are still waiting for Procore to finish their end of the "bargin". It's pricey! Review Source CF Carly F. Easy way for me to print the latest sets of drawings for the guys in the field. Pros This software is the easiest way for me to view drawings and keep track of multiple projects that we have going on. Each general contractor that we work with uses Procore and makes it easy to have all of our documents for each project organized and in one place. Cons Sometimes the site can be a little bit glitchy but other than that it is great.
