Manager Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Great system for multifamily construction projects" September 19, 2019 4.0 I've seen companies build hundreds of homes with this software. I believe it works for construction. Pros I was a contractor for a developer and I came in during the second half of the project. I used this software to interact more with the buyers and the deficiency team. A simple feature that I love is how you are able to take photos of issues and save it in the system by unit. Makes organization much easier. Cons My name was entered into the system as the person doing deficiency walkthroughs with buyers but I wasnt always there as I had others on my team but since they couldnt change my name, they all were signing off as me. Field employees have had much success learning and understanding how to use the program Cons I dislike the time sheet aspect of the program so far. May 23, 2017 5.0 I think the software is great and will look forward to the constant changes to the software to continue to make it the best software in Construction. Pros The ease of use and training of new employees in on the software and they say how easy the system is to use. Cons The only con to the system is the ability to edit specifications within the tool which you are not able to do yet but will soon come I hope. The other is the ability to overlay a drawing onto an existing drawing whether it be a ASI or answer to and RFI with just a change of a detail verses a whole new plan page. It is intuitive and has all the functions required for a construction management program and more. It is especially useful on site. The use of desktop to mobile app switching is seamless. By using Procore, I feel we have been more productive on jobs. Pros Great tool for everyday construction use. Tracking information and keeping drawings and documents up to date has always been a must on construction projects. Procore seams to be on the leading edge with great software to do just that. Cons It is a little hard to use at first and takes some time to get comfortable with using it. Especially with an older generation of workers, it takes more time to get them used to the software. But once one has used it for a period of time, they are pretty good at getting the info they need. Small projects have as much paper work as the big projects. With procore all I need is my laptop and I can run my sites. I dont have a file cabinet on site, etc... It's what you hoped for when the promise of technology meant simpler and efficient future! Pros I love the fact that all my projects are located in the same place. The system is very intuitive and I cant imagine doing my job any other way Cons I do notice a lag time when jumping around when using procore. October 16, 2020 5.0 Great for storing, storing, tracking and managing your direct and indirect project information. My experience with this software can say that it makes my life / work easier. Pros Procore is an excellent program overall. Their cloud-based platform works well for compiling big data among many users, and its ease of use is also very beneficial for users. It provides comfort and allows you to use the program in the most efficient way. Cons Actually, it does not have much. The only downside is that the files cannot be saved directly to Procore. Pros The Software features are excellent. It has Easy accessibility from the computer , tablet or phone. I has a very Friendly display and classy user interface. Cons The program is very Expensive. Sometimes, there is a constant change in the user interface,. This makes the customer uncomfortable to get used to the new interface a most of the options are replaced and redesigned. Cons The one and only complaint is that Procore is consistently changing cosmetic features that move my common buttons or areas. Once I've adjusted to the new areas it seems to change again. Pros Easy of use with the new interface, quick customer support, and the ability to upload a large amount of files and share them with all your contractors or clients in an ease. " November 13, 2017 5.0 Easy access to plans, messaging to our contractors, and streamlined construction management Pros Ease of use to share documents, plans, and messages between GC and sub contractors is the best benefit of the system. Get email alerts to any changes to docs or addendums which is very helpful. Fast download speeds compared to other programs Cons The layout can be a bit confusing and not as user friendly as it could be. To find the bidding documents requires a bit more searching than is necessary. The other software that we tried is Primavera Contract Manager (Oracle bought and destroyed like everything it touches), and Project Administrator which is a product that came from our ERP eCMS. The biggest issue with the software is that it not priced well for subcontractors. We are not able to utilize all the pieces of the tool but still have to pay for it. Pros Unlimited users is great. Not having to decide who gets in and who does not makes adopting the tool much quicker. The built in help is great and can help someone get jump started in only a few hours. The app for Android and IOS are great. You can get to just about everything that you can get on the website on your mobile device. It also allows you to get to the information while offline. It makes my job so much easier Cons Some limited access to tools in the mobile app. There are certain things I’ve been told are unavailable but I just log into the web app and can access them just as easy so it doesn’t make sense why those aren’t available on mobile.
