January 31, 2018 5.0 Any problems are easily handled by the support team. Pros All of the various tools are great and a dream to use. In the field the plans at your finger tips along with the knowledge that all of our subcontractors and suppliers are working off the most recent updates. The ability the mark RFIs, ASIs and changes right to the plan. Using the daily log with the various tools is a nice feature that is also a time saver, along with the calls logged feature. Emailing information and plan pages ect out directly is great. With the system being updated constantly and new features being added regularly, makes the system invaluable. Review Source MA Moath A. It eliminated back-and-forth and made us proactive about delays important for equipment scheduling, and maximizing turnover of rental. Pros We use Procore to manage our rental equipment dispatches associated with larger construction projects. It provides a common interface where our team and our customers can monitor jobs, documents, and change orders, all updated in real time. Cons Training is required in order to get all parties in alignment and that can be challenging, especially for subcontractors new to digital tools. Since most companies we work with use Procore, it's an invaluable tool to have to keep track of everything we do! Pros Procore has completely changed how we do business with GC's. From my end, I love the real time updates I get when drawings are updated and how easy it is to follow RFIs that may affect us in the future. The submittals function is also a huge plus for us so we can easily keep track of our submittals and the notifications we get when they have been approved. Cons The one thing that can be improved upon the the compare drawings feature. Currently, the mobile version is much better at this but when I'm using the desktop version, It is not always accurate and I tend to have to check them by hand. Pros Procore is great for managing Subcontractors and tracking in real time with photo upload. Because the inspection checklists can help keep teams compliant with local building codes. Was successful with each project, and it was easy to set up an account once you get the invite for the project. Pros It is easy to use, and the layout of the browser is user friendly. Mobile app is also very helpful when away from the computer for quick access. Cons It is a large platform, so there are also many areas you can explore. It mainly depends on the end user uploading the data, as long as it is put in the correct place. Pros its very good for handling all the information require to oversee and manage a project, we upload a lot of important documents into the system which is then used throughout each project. Cons at time the system can be quite slow and hard to navigate, its hard to filter each category and just the general running can be slow. Not too much of a learning curve and the design is very user friendly. Overall I have had a great experience with Procore and it is the future of construction management! Pros Very easy and organized. No more paper copies or giant folders!!! Cons Sometimes I have some glitching and don't receive notifications when I should. It is easy to navigate between variety of projects, and I've rarely had technical issues with the software. Pros I like that I can easily navigate between variety of projects. Procore makes it easy to stay compliant with different requirements and contractors. Cons It seems like my user experience varies based on the functionality of the GC. I don't like how time consuming preparing a pay application is compared to other software like GCPay and Textura. Pros Simplified the construction documentation and approval process. It is a great software to use as a central repository for submittals, photos, etc. It makes it much easier to provide reviews, feedback and approve purchases, and well as to download drawings and other documents. Cons The construction projects that use ProCore don't put their project schedules in ProCore, leading me to believe that the functionality is not easy to use. I also find it difficult to switch between projects, as only the company name is the home screen versus include the project names. Review Source NL Nick L. The product is so easy to use that I'm sure most 4th graders could teach anyone how to use. If you don't have a teacher then you can get Procore Certified through their do-as-you-please training videos that can be accessed within the product. You can access your project plans, to do lists, progress reports, anything project related from any computer/phone/tab. The guys on the job can never have an excuse for not having current plans because of it's all there at your fingertips. Pros There are so many positives for this software. It used to be tedious to search through CCD's and Addendums to try and find the most current print, but Procore does it for you. It knows which one is most current and makes it easily accessible. Change orders are simply. Unlimited cloud storage. Communication is so smooth and everyone gets notified. So many tools within Procore that just make managing your project easier. Cons The only thing I don't like is that this product is not free. LOL. But then again, something this awesome should not be free. Review Source SH Sharon H. The support can be reached almost immediately using the chat and they know their stuff. The training videos are comprehensive and set up our new employees for success when using Procore. Pros Everyone associated with our projects (owners, design team, subcontractors, and our team) has easily accessible access to the project information at any time from anywhere. The system is highly customizable while still being easy to use for the end users. The ability to apply granular permissions when we need someone to have a little more access than others is something I don't see often. Cons I've always wished we could create reports ourselves and they just debuted this feature. So, nothing that I can think of right now! We can upload image files and PDF files to relevant location. The best benefit of Procore is core integration. I used this program when I worked as a QS. I can quickly chase up the programme and budget. Budget chasing and follow up the programme is critical for QS. Also, the uploading PDF function greatly reduces time for searching documents separately. Pros The best function of Procore is the uploading PDF files at relevant area. It helps to reduce time to searching for documents separately. Also, on-site workers also use this software with their mobile phone. Then they can quickly upload site photos or report builders working hours automatically. I could check the total finance directly through budget tab. We can easily compare the total budget and actual cost. Cons When we upload PDF files or image files, some times the system clashed due to the large size of the documents. It takes time to refresh. It is also nice that when forms are completed, the people in the office have immediate access to it. Pros We use Procore for safety compliance with a construction company. We were able to put all necessary forms in Procore to be completed on the worker's phone and eliminate the need for paper tracking. Cons Procore was not very customizable and quite restrictive when it come to form building. We did find ways around this to make it work but would've been easier with more customization. A centralized are for submittals, Change orders, etc. Cons Feature heavy and medium learning curve. It's great that we can use it for every project, but smaller projects don't need most of the features.
