Additionally, if you have a way to improve or need something from Procore to make your life easier...it's amazing how quickly it comes to life. Cons There are lots of toggles that allow for flexibility, at times this can get cumbersome to manage and fully understand the ripple affects. Review Source MA Michael A. The mobile app. is very easy to use, esp. when uploading photos. Cons Can't forward emails and some other items within the submittal process. Also within the email, would be helpful to be able to add someone to your contact list from the email window. There's been times where I'll want to send a mass email and have it all ready to go and when I go to pull from the directory, I forgot to add someone. You can't save the email you've just written so either you have to try to copy and paste or let it go so you can go to the directory to add that person and then start again. Also when distributing a submittal back to a subcontractor, it would be nice to have the option of "distribute and keep open." Review Source CB Christian B. " January 22, 2018 5.0 I highly recommend this product... it eases communication and effectively tracks and maintains project information! Pros This program has some amazing features that make the day to day construction paperwork easy and quick to get done. This program makes collaboration between office and field easy and seamless. Procore is constantly updating there software and has some awesome training tools (FREE) that are available. Cons The only feature on Procore that I think can be updated / made better would be the budget and change order tools. They are rather confusing compared to other software I have used in the past. It is also difficult to track profit / overhead costs in Procore, but we can analyze that in our accounting software so it is not a big issue. Review Source JT James T. " March 10, 2017 5.0 Pros Procore has many features that help expedite the construction process. the greatest pro however is the overall simplicity of getting information to the field in a timely manner through technology. Cons In my opinion, Procore could greatly improve there markup feature on the iPad. Our company is pushing for as built drawing as well as status drawing, and the easy of use (on that specific feature) could be improved. July 10, 2018 4.0 Pros This software is easy to log on to and has a good online web page. It is easy to download items and keep track of open items and see previously closed items. Cons I do not like that the submitting only last on the web page for a certain amount of time. I understand that the website needs to archive but the time on the web page is not enough. Cons When entering submittals f entered wrong you have to delete them one at a time. Procore is far superior to any other construction project management software Ii have used. Pros In twenty years of building Procore is the only software contains the functions and ability to manage a project in one place. From document control to RFI's, to budgeting , scheduling and communication. Procore does it all. Cons Doesn't have BIM capability (with out add on software) or ability to read and use IFC files. April 16, 2015 5.0 I've only been using Procore since January of this year, so for just over 3 months now. I use it daily. I'm very satisfied with all of the features it offers and how it helps make project management a bit more manageable! Being able to access digital plan sets from my phone or other device right in the field is fantastic. When I've had an issue, I was able to use the live help feature and got it sorted within minutes. I know that the Procore team is continuing to improve the product and add even more features but even as it stands now, its wonderful. I've been in the construction industry since 2005 and 2015 is the first year I've had the software I always knew could exist: Procore! Pros Easy to learn and use. Full featured. Flexible. This includes subcontractors, architect, and engineers. Cons When not all team members subscribe to Procore, you find yourself doing double the work by having to track items separately outside of Procore which defeats the purpose. Pros Finally our company purchased amazing web based solution for our Construction Management needs. We have been using Prolog for a long time and it was time to switch. Glad we did, interface is great, support is awesome and if you have internet you can access! Cons There are some small restrictions like adding companies in different states. Pros Keeps every subcontractor informed, all information is in one place and available to everyone who needs it. Simplifies any change tracking and management. Every aspect of the construction process is tracked which is great for recognizing areas for improvement . Cons Procore is fairly expensive .Especially when you consider that you have to pay extra for any improvements and new modules they come up with .The program can also be more relaxed as far as the number of notifications go . May 2, 2016 5.0 Pros Procore is like having a full time assistant keeping you and your team straight. Its "ball in court" keeps everyone focused on what they need to be working on and allows you to work on other items when you're not up. The email reminders to people is wonderful and takes away the time consuming phone calls and email follow ups we used to have to do in other CPM products. But the best part is the collaborative nature and the fact that everyone has all the info they need at their fingertips whenever and where ever they are located. Cons Probably the change orders in the fact if two CO are issued at the same time (but you want to keep them separated for a particular reason) the contract total will not be right because it will not acknowledge the other CO because it isnt executed.
