I rarely have issues and even when I do the customer service is exceptional. Cons Some features need a bit of work regarding ease of use. No need to head back to the file cabinet. File reports, take photos, submit RFIs, all from your tablet. Head back to your desktop to perform a deeper dive if needed! The best part-everyone can have free access to it-subs, your team, subs of subs. No more excuses! The only negative is that when we first signed up we had in person help and now its over the computer. The price is steep but the software is complex and worth the value. Pros Efficiency and ease of documents from anywhere. Streamlines and time stamps responses from General contractor, architect and consultants. I love the drawing feature, documents, RFI, and submittals Cons Hard for subcontractors to buy into the project if its a one off project for them and or its there first time using it. The app has tools for logs and tools prints. The photo storage is a huge thing as well. Cons The true lack of financial integfration. You still need to have accounting software. The software is utilized for Bid Solicitation and Project Management Pros The Procore team has been great to assist in training and customization of the software for your needs. Cons Further integration into established accounting software is needed. Integration into Spectrum would be great. There are so many different directions the program can cover. So far it's strong suits are organization and alerts for delayed items. There are still bugs found from time to time and some slight annoyances, but it is completely understandable and these things will eventually be smoothed out. Pros Ease of use, organization Cons Important emails look like spam, iOS app is buggy and slow, takes loading four pages just to distribute an RFI (or submittal, can't remeber, but its annoying), needs to be more customizable (forms, logs, etc...), integrate Bluebeam, Microsoft Office. The biggest hurdle for us and PM software is getting subcontractors, vendors, and superintendents to buy-in to new technology. Procore has exceeded our expectations and the ease of use for people of all different backgrounds has made our jobs run much smoother from a communications standpoint. Pros Our submittal log template was turned around and uploaded into our job within an hour. Procore Support has been extremely responsive. The support team has worked with our company to make sure that our product is fine-tuned to what is important to us. Cons The 'Documents' portion of Procore could be more user friendly and easier to use. Keeps track of everything on 1 cloud base. You can access old jobs and new jobs at any time. Cons The con is definitely the phone app for Procore. It minimizes use and functionality of the system. It could be a little more flexible when adding/sharing data. The cookie cutter approach can be cumbersome. The good parts about Procore are that all information can be on "one" site. Even though the real document flow needs to be a bit extended. Pros The setup is great and accountability is a given. The support (chat) people are awesome and so far have been able to answer any questions we have in the field. Cons The speed and missing structure/ideas for document flow for the normal files of a project. This program should house all of the documentation that is being handled on a job site in order to ensure paperless processes. It would be much better if there would be a flawless connection from Procore to Bluebeam as this program is still needed for changes. Review Source DO Darek O. It has streamlined the interface between the contractor in the field and the architect in the office. Information flows freely back and forth all while being tracked. It has eliminated the days of keeping logs for everything as the software tracks it automatically. The punchlist tool could be a little more user friendly, but it is definitely an improvement over the pencil and paper method, then back to the office to type it up and decipher the chicken scratch. I believe that our punch list have become more cleaner, more concise and easier to back-punch saving a great deal of time. Review Source MH Matt H. May 9, 2017 4.0 Pros Great software, mobile first, very intuitive, they are willing to enhance weekly. Their Drawing/Document Sync that is coming is going to be awesome. They also are working on a new integration with Bluebeam that looks very promising. Their customer support is top notch! Cons Need to enhance Safety tools and add markup throughout the software.
