The chat lines are very helpful. And our customer service rep was helpful. Cons We had to learn the program without any training, only the training videos, and the man on the videos talks too fast. We have our subcontractors, owners, architects, and staff all working on this system. It keeps everything so organized and straightforward. Before we started using Procore, I had to make project books and update them almost daily. Now we load the information into Procore and everyone can access what they need. It's easy to learn with the training videos. Support chats are awesome; we can get answers to our questions right away. If the support team doesn't know the answer to our question, they go out of their way to find the answer, and that means a lot to us. It helps eliminate the strenuous process of manually updating drawings. Cons The item I like the least is the scheduling function on the web based version. The support staff is wonderful, and the development staff has really listened to my concerns and implemented a lot of my ideas. Cons Nothing really. Cons: (most cons are due to the fact that we are a sub using Procore) no PO system, directory management along with email management is not ideal because of the time management aspect. Having to use two emails and input contacts in Procore along with my conventional email is tedious. The schedule is not a very good tool but I understand that when integrated with MS project it's more usable. Review Source AS Andrea S. March 22, 2017 4.0 Overall, this product is the best project management software that we have tried and we've tried them all. As previously stated, the functionality, in-depth reporting and even versatility of the project are amazing. Thus far, our primary concern and drawback is the speed. Pros I, absolutely, love the functionality and in-depth information and reporting that this software offers. Additionally, it is a huge time-saver with regard to processing vendor contracts/purchase orders, change orders, pay applications and even waivers of lien. Cons It is SLOW! The amount of time that it takes to process an Owner application for payment or even do a simple budget reallocation is ridiculous! It, literally, takes an hour (or more) for some tasks that I should be able to complete in a matter of minutes. Review Source AJ Angela J. The information on hand is useful in keeping everyone on the same page. Cons The gaps in information crossover from the internet view to the application for the iPad are frustrating. My counterparts and I are in the field with only an iPad; this causes us to not be able to perform certain duties without logging in through Safari. As a company, Groathouse Construction has utilized numerous competing systems for our Project Management efforts with little success or benefit. We came to Procore with the same need, but high reservations about the long-term benefit. However, after working with Procore, these reservations have been eliminated and we are already seeing the success we have been seeking for years. Review Source AA Antonio A. Used the software for: ### "Great Tool For General Contractors" April 4, 2016 5.0 We are using this tool for both refurbishments and new builds in multi-family development. This is a great way to get all of the project documents and financials distributed to subs, design team and internal members. Although the support is not 100% available they are quick to get you your answer or to walk you through the site. My favorite tools of this site are the up to date documents being shared to all relevant team members and the ability to assign items to anyone of the project's directory. Review Source BB Brad B.
