“Not User Friendly AT ALL!”

OverallVery poor.
ProsI like the report functions and employee time tracking.
ConsIt is not easy at all to use or setup. You cannot make changes and the instructions are very hard to understand for setup. If you do not have an experienced IT person on staff you will have multiple issues getting the program to work. It shuts down intermittently and the ACCOTruck system is constantly getting errors. There are no good, understandable user guides and many items of importance are not in them. The price of the software was reasonable but all of the additional costs for IT help and extra modules make it unreasonable.

“Great management software”

OverallAllows for detailed call tracking - before this software, it was next to impossible to determine if there were segments of your business that were costing money rather than being profitable.
ProsMobile to the truck. Highly detailed reporting. Can allow certain access to certain users. Profit reporting by dept, individual call, or tech.
ConsHas a relatively steep learning curve for the PC side. Seems to run slow at times, even after upgrading hardware.

“We used Acowin for 7 years and it was always a work around to get it top work correctly.”

OverallIts better than paper tickets, but not by much!
ProsThe ability to use an Ipad was nice. The software was able to collect time per job for payroll whis was a nice feature.
ConsIt seemed very antiquated with the interface and always very buggy when sending calls back and forth from the office to the techs. The server based system was a big concern. Also, there is a module you have to buy for everything.

“Our company chose to not use Acowin after purchasing it due to many issues that we found. ”

OverallThe ONLY benefit we received was the dispatch board. There were other features that our company could have incorporated but there was an additional cost.
ProsI liked the dispatch board the best. It was nice to see the day lined out and what our service technicians had assigned under them.
ConsYou could not change anything. Once it was done, you could not simply go in and change it. There should have been room for human error.

“Good product, not much forgiveness. ”

OverallWe have been using acowin for about 4 years now. It is difficult for someone new. Has all the features you would want with an all in one software. I wish it were more customizable. It only calculates hourly payroll, not commission so that makes my job a lot more time consuming. The reports are excellent. We purchased another software but wound up going back to acowin. They added a lot of new features with this new update and it is better. Overall, a really good software. Just don't expect someone to learn it quickly. And it is hard finding someone to hire that knows it. If you have patience and can understand software, you will like it!

“Great product”

OverallThis is a great product which allows you to track every aspect of your business. Combined with their Acotruck mobile work orders our company has been able to reduce are billing time and keep much more accurate records. Best of all a lot less paper use. TMS customer support is phenomenal.
