They are very handy in keeping all of the case information in one place and easy to find. Cons The Notes tab is not very user friendly at all. It is difficult to find notes and the note number isn't visible in list view and it's hard to search for specific content. Case Manager Legal Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Case Manager " April 4, 2025 4.0 It's one of the easiest programs to get used to it by customizing it to the way you are organize. It can also be easy for other people to look over the file and get what they need. Pros Playing with it overtime, you can better understand the file by having documents or contacts in the right areas like having medical records and bills in one area and having court documents in another. The more you play with it, the better you can customize it to your liking. Cons It still needs work with having deadlines more alerted. Pros Training videos are really helpful. I like that with some work, many of the features can be customized to the firm's needs. Cons It doesn't have the functionality I would like it to have. For example, I would love to be able to save documents as "children" to my checklist items and value items. I see Neos being a great tool once our firm learns how to use additional features. Pros I really like the document management and how we can customize and organize the TYPE of document for easier searching. Our IT has had security testing done, and were told our office has the the highest scores (least threats). The software is user friendly, and highly customizable. Cons Our firm needs more support to know how to use unused features and learn how to customize even more so the software is more beneficial to us. Pros The thing I like most about Neos is the detailed tabs that come along with working throughout Neos. They ensure a clean, tidy, and organized file for the clients which helps us work in the clients file smoothly. Cons No cons really come to mind, sometimes when posting an email from Outlook to Neos it may not work but that is possibly more of an Outlook issue. I am very happy with NEOS and am proud of its integration in our firm. Pros What I like the most about NEOS is by far its ease for access. The accessibility of the application is unpresented. Its intake, tabs, documents, financial and and even calendar options all contribute to creating daily functions as efficient as possible. Furthermore, as a first time user of these applications; I was able to quickly learn and master due to the ease of function and quality of life. Cons What I most dislike is its recent lag and slower loading times. This may be due to the recent large updates. It brings structure, organization, and consistency to case management, which helps teams work more efficiently and deliver a better client experience. That said, while the core system is strong, delays around integrations and communication have been frustrating and have limited our ability to fully leverage the platform from a reporting and growth standpoint. With better responsiveness, Neos could be significantly more impactful. Pros Neos does a good job of keeping everything centralized and organized, which makes day-to-day operations smoother across the firm. It helps our teams stay aligned, keeps cases moving, and provides consistent data we can rely on. From my side, having one system that supports case flow, reporting, and visibility across departments is a big plus. Cons The biggest downside has been around integrations and responsiveness. Despite submitting a simple request for read-only API access, we haven’t received any response for weeks. This has limited our ability to implement offline conversion tracking and build reporting dashboards leadership is actively asking for. When Neos positions itself as having an open API and being collaborative with client teams, the lack of follow-up here has been frustrating and disruptive. Review Source IS Inezmarie S. Although there are some minor things I miss, this is a much better product, and will help our firm manage our cases more successfully. Pros I like that it syncs with my Outlook calendar and that I can access it from everywhere. It's also very intuitive to use. Cons I don't like that it doesn't make any sounds to tell you that you have a new message. I don't like the little notification bell at the top. I also appreciate how well it organizes case information and deadlines. Pros I like its modern, responsive platform, but there's a learning curve for advanced workflow features. Cons It can be difficult to figure out how to initially set things up and while you can send notes in office, they do not pop up on your screen so you may miss something urgent if you don't check your notes constantly.
