Pros

is good for portfolio management and calendar view. It takes only few minutes for any kind of portfolio and project management. Celoxis make my work very easy and save lots of my company time. They provide best customer service to their users. Celoxis provide personalized solutions to all the users.

Cons

Every software come with some problem like has also a little bugs. Celoxis recently introduced checklists feature which is marvellous.

All in one: all the same powerful functions as MS Project with the Project WBS & Gantt Chart, Agile task board with drag & drop, collaboration with the clients on issue register, colour-coded workload directly populated from the scheduling, simplicity yet sophisticated ways of entering time entries, cater for both fixed price and T&M, on the same project!

Cons

Notifications are a bit messy, with duplicates and gaps at the same time. Not being able to paste from clipboard the image, i.e. you have to save it before. There used to be a limitation with setting up client as follower on issues, which was a bummer. Good news, the feature was released last week!

### "Best Portfolio Project Management Tool in today's market"

Pros

It's difficult to find a single PPM tool that has end-to-end functionality for program/portfolio management, day-to-day project management, resource workforce management, budget vs actuals reporting, and dashboard reporting. I've researched for the past 3-4 years and whilst there are companies out there that have been around for decades or may have more API integrations, is by far the most intuitive, customizable PPM tool that does all of the above functions at a competitive cost and with a very modern user interface. The Gantt chart mimics the look and feel of MS Project which allowed the learning curve for our PMs to be seamless as they simply imported their Project CSV files. The resource workforce reporting is also automated and easily shows those under/over allocated. One of the best functions of this tool is the dashboard reporting - it is incredibly customizable allowing the user to select position, width, charts, filters, custom fields etc which again mimics what you'd be able to do in MS PowerPoint but in an automated fashion. I've used PPM tools customised for enterprise organisations with 50,000+ employees which cost $5m+ in licensing costs yet did not function as well as Celoxis.

Cons

There's always room for improvement in every software/company. I would like to see the support for increase from 24x5 to 24x7. If they can bring some of their support onshore with a phone capability as well, that would be fantastic. Some minor enhancements on their dashboard reporting capabilities would also be helpful.

My only request for improving the tool at this time is for to implement a currency conversion calculation in the tool so that our business can report on USD across all regions, the rest we can live with, or I will submit a support case for consideration.

has an excellent interface which is extremely easy to use, despite having the versatility of allowing customisations which integrate seamlessly into a dynamic and professional solution. We have integrated the software into our project management teams globally and now report all project Gantt charts, issues, risks, variations, document deliverables etc with Celoxis.

We have not only achieved the original expectations of the software by providing a simple global tool facilitating a single common process for project execution activities, but surpassed the target with a tool that continues to expand and encompass additional stand alone processes.

Like many other companies we were using excel or Teams to manage projects. This generated a lot of issues with projects ending the same weekend, and no standard reporting, no global view. Also not helping on daily basis, as a PM should have a single place to manage all aspects of a project: RAID log, reporting, Gantt, lessons learned....

Pros

So easy to use, that you barely need training, which is key to global adoption by all PMs in the company. It also has the possibility to add your custom fields so you are never stuck to match your internal process. Finally, you can create your own 'app' which is a kind of workflow: for instance, we created lessons learned workflow which is part of any project management but was not an original feature of the tool

Cons

Sometimes the automatic calculation of the task date seems to act not as you are expecting. In which case you can select manual setup of the date

Excellent software, there seems to be a way to do whatever I need it to do. I need more time to export features and customize how the budgeting works. Haven't moved out of my budgeting tool that I built because I am not able to provide finance what they need out of yet.

Pros

I needed a tool that had the power of Microsoft Project with the ability to track budgets and capitalize labour costs. I was a software developer in a former life and wanted one tool to do it all. I hate islands of information. After trying to setup what I needed in the tools we had available... Project for the Web, Project Online, Project Power App, Asana, Jira. I came across . I was immediately drawn to it because I could see it was designed to run the job of project management. Most other platforms are designed to have you run the rest of your project in excel. I didn't want that. Celoxis does it all and I can still publish MS Project files or excel spreadsheets if I need to publish data somewhere.

Cons

Our organization has already licenses for other Project managment tools. I could not get buy in for another project app. I would like a way for people to submit time and updates without having to use the email feature or buy a license. If I could request and update or time input and they click a link that takes them to an update page. I can't get buy in for 100 or so licenses so people can update a task.

Overall is an average-priced, great features, and simple to configure tool. The usage of the tool depends on our own requirements. We have set up the tool very differently for different departments. The journey has been really awesome! Hope we get more features requested and make this tool much more powerful!

Pros

I have been part of the team that tested, implemented, and using the tool as a User and also Administrator. 1) The standalone app helps us to do customization without depending on Salesforce Admins. I can create my own 'Custom Fields' and report on it. Even the 'Custom Fields' can be customized to show for only specific types of projects which is awesome. 2) The concept of 'Workspaces' which separates out the department-wise projects makes it unique. It helps to remove the noise from/to other departments. 3) The Project/Task creation AND/OR the templates option is very simple and re-usable, which takes Project Managers to create projects in less than 30 seconds. 4) Time tracking is very very simple. This has been hell in our previous tool. 5) The access control/security can be controlled by Admin(That's me!) which is super helpful. 6) With all of the above, the adoption of Celoxis across our departments has been great compared to our previous tool. 7) Last but not least - Their Support team is awesome! You just send a Chat or Open a ticket, they respond very quickly and provide resolutions in most of the cases. NEVER SEEN a SUPPORT team like that previously.

Cons

1) Task scheduling is medium. Though they have provided different ways to achieve our requirements, it is a tedious job. I would want a tool like '' to think about 'Day-wise scheduling' which is already part of other PSA tools. 2) The Reporting is medium. Though we can achieve the results with multiple reports, I would want a tool like 'Celoxis' to think more about reporting capabilities (Something like a Salesforce kind of reporting structure would help everyone). 3) There are few limitations which they have already documented here: https://www.celoxis.com/kb/13.5/reports/concepts/limits I would want them to think out of the box and help more customers, while the customers grow, these kinds of limitations will be barriers to proceed with the tool in the long-run future.

We can fully recommend this software for project management, but be aware that this is only a tool. Company has to change it's mindset to project organization in order to implement it successfully.

Pros

As centralized server solution, this software enables us to plan, manage and control whole portfolio and every project individually. As comprehensive solution this software is used by our employees, management, associates and clients. Everybody can see state of their projects/tasks with one click on their mobile phones or computers.

Cons

Software could be better with improvements in cashflow department of the project. Also as project is set of activities performed by all Project participants, it could be helpful to implement Client tasks and other stakeholders tasks.

As organization we've outgrown software that we used. Our old software enabled us only to record hours on specific projects and not to tasks. this was our only option. This can give you information on project costs, but you can not collaborate through comprehensive solution as fully featured PM software.

We shifted from MS Project to and couldn't be happier. It's a very good and easy to use tool and there are many features that provide benefits internally and for our clients. The Support team is very helpful and responds fast to questions/concerns. My team reported one bug and this was picked up and resolved within 2-4 days.

Pros

Very easy to use and learn. Access from anywhere as cloud based. Good options for internal reporting and client sharing (PDF, excel, MS Project file, etc.). Well thought through and covers most aspects on PM software needed.

Cons

There are some bugs here and there which causes performance issues and lagness. Additional/advanced PM software features are missing and hope those are added to the pipeline soon.

So far it has been a learning experience and when I encounter issues the HD support has been very supportive and timely with their feedback. I do appreciate their overall response time to the matters raised.

The robust reporting feature and the ease of use of the general application. I can also have custom reports built and shared with my various clients or emails by schedule

I would like to be able to undo changes in the plan if I make a mistake a remove something that wasn't suppose to be removed example, tasks. I would also prefer that items closed on a task can be moved automatically to the bottom of the plan or If a filter can be created to just view items on the project plan that are still open. Some color coding on the plan itself will also be nice Also some more available options for the client portal so clients can access things like the RAID etc

Mostly positive - I wouldn't want to go back to MS Project. But some annoying cons as desribed above. Critical Path not working really hurts

Pros

I felt was quite easy to get started with - it certainly is simpler than other products such as MS Project which is a huge benefit to me since I personally found MS Project too complicated and I never used most of the functions. I can't think of anything I needed which MS Project could do that Celoxis cannot

Cons

By far the biggest issue is that the Critical Path feature doesn't work properly. We've managed to get it working on a small number of occasions and then a simple change broke it. Using the Help Desk has not resolved this so we guess it just simply doesn't work well - never had any issues in MS Project. The Autosave feature and the 4-6s latency behind it meant it was unusable (every single change would cause it to be inoked). Turning it off solved the problem but then you are at risk of losing changes if you don't remember to save or your browser crashes (as happened to be once). Also, it seems almost impossible to reliably have 2 people make changes to the project at the same time without the risk of massive issues.

is our sole PM tool and we are able to see all our projects and time entries in one place. We have had minimal issues with it since going live and the responses from the support team have always been fast and efficient. For me as a PM, I would now struggle without Celoxis.

Pros

The reports & charts are excellent, the built in timesheet is easy to use once you get used to it and is crucial for our business. To be able to view the team workload in one screen is also really useful for resource planning.

Cons

defaults fixed price projects time entries as non-billable. For us, as our projects are billable, it is inconvenient that in a billable vs non-billable report, most of our project time will display as NB because a project has a fixed price rather than T&M. Although there is a workaround, it is tricky to remember to apply it.

There is a lot of potential and great things here. I think a better presentation and more tooltips could help ALOT.

There is a lot on offer for the management software.

Cons

It seems really confusing with all the different elements. I would appreciate a different view of the tasks as the tab near the top took me a while to realize that I could scroll to the side and see other tabs. It also seems that the only way to get answers would be to contact customer service, they have been great but that takes up unnecessary time. Making changes to a task would mean that the task would load for a few seconds afterward. If you have multiple tasks to change, this tasks a lot of time. :)

Not only that but you have unlimited client access for clientst to be able to log and view their own bugs as well as track the progress of their project, granting specific permissions and allowing full transparency. I also like the ability to customise reports and fields, import project and export reports in csv, pdf and msproject formats. The support team are incredibly responsive in addition to the articles and forums within the help centre. On a daily basis I use it to plan projects, allocating estimated hours per task, check progress of a project, check the resource availability, and calculate risks.

Cons

With each release improvements are made, but whenever there is a release the system can be a little buggy, but is usually resolved very quickly and tickets are dealt with promptly.
