Getting it up and running was easy enough. Pros Clever is a one stop for all of our students to use the apps they need. Cons Some apps will not work no matter what i do. Clever says they should work but I haven't had any luck. Pros We started using clever shortly after the pandemic started when we had to make many more technology purchases in order for employees to work from home and needed a way to manage the inventory. It's very easy to manage the inventory and I love how easy it is for us to track the life cycle of our products and plan for renewal cycles. Cons It took us a good bit of time to get up and running with the process of entering every product for the first time. Now that everything is in our data is reliable and informs our improvement projects. Alternatives considered [Google Sheets](https://www.capterra.com/p/169718/Google-Sheets/) Reasons for choosing Clever Google sheets could not analyze our data in the way that clever can. It also doesn't have many of the search criteria and filters built into clever. I don't have to manually add 25+ students. Pros Everything is on one platform for the teachers and students to sign on various online learning sites such as zoom, Google classroom, Splash Learn, Class dojo, math and reading curriculums etc. You don't need to have passwords for the different applications you need to access. With Clever you are automatically logged in. This works so well for the lower elementary grades and students with special needs. Cons You may come across a site and/or application that is not compatible with Clever, but ask your tech administrator to see if they can troubleshoot the issue. The teacher's communicate with them. We get a parent login to check in on our students and communicate with the teachers as well. I love the simplicity of the software. Cons I think there should be a text notification that is sent to the parent's phone and not just to the student when the teacher communicates with the student. That we can track the overall appropriateness of when things are being communicated.
