With Clever, however, this solves this problem tremendously. It allows you to organize your logins in one place. Pros Clever is the easiest software I have used in a long time. As a user, it is seamless and saves SO MUCH time for searching and organizing all of my passwords and logins. Once set-up, it instantly stores logins and with a click of a button, you are instantly logged into the next website. Also, my children use this for online schooling it has been a godsend. Last school year, we were constantly having to remember MULTIPLE logins for MULTIPLE different sites. Now, the school has even more logins stored and easily accessible. Cons I can't think of anything as a user. Every once and a while, Clever might have a glitch and it doesn't automatically log you in. But I think this was due to the thousands and thousands of students who were trying to log on at once. Since then, no issues whatsoever! Review Source LN Lisa N. Pros We started using clever shortly after the pandemic started when we had to make many more technology purchases in order for employees to work from home and needed a way to manage the inventory. It's very easy to manage the inventory and I love how easy it is for us to track the life cycle of our products and plan for renewal cycles. Cons It took us a good bit of time to get up and running with the process of entering every product for the first time. Now that everything is in our data is reliable and informs our improvement projects. Alternatives considered [Google Sheets](https://www.capterra.com/p/169718/Google-Sheets/) Reason for choosing Clever Google sheets could not analyze our data in the way that clever can. It also doesn't have many of the search criteria and filters built into clever. I've not used it as much with my students as I'd like because it isn't compatible with everything. Pros I like that it saves times with certain websites (e.g code.org) that we use in class, especially for younger students. We always have a hard time remembering and writing down or typing passwords and logins correctly. It is a nice management tool for teachers and students. Cons It is not compatible with all websites we use, which is extremely frustrating. Students sometimes login with google, sometimes with clever, sometimes we have to write them down on paper/pencil or try to save them on their ipads or computers. I want something that is compatible with ALL sites! It solves the problem of having to teach students multiple different platforms and running the risk that they get confused or lose their password to get in. Since each product requires a product username and password, clever simplifies the process by only requiring users to know one. Once they log into Clever, they are given access to all the other products they will use. Pros Clever is a one stop shop for all learning apps, links and online content. Clever can easily be customized and altered to fit the particular needs of your students, school and educational demands. Having all of the learning (from ebooks to purchased software) all in one places saves a lot of time and minimizes confusion. Cons There can be a delay between your organization adding the new learning app and having it ready for student use. It is not automatic. Sometimes it may take a day. Reason for choosing Clever We chose Clever because of the continual challenge of reminding students their passwords on multiple online products. I don't have to manually add 25+ students. Pros Everything is on one platform for the teachers and students to sign on various online learning sites such as zoom, Google classroom, Splash Learn, Class dojo, math and reading curriculums etc. You don't need to have passwords for the different applications you need to access. With Clever you are automatically logged in. This works so well for the lower elementary grades and students with special needs. Cons You may come across a site and/or application that is not compatible with Clever, but ask your tech administrator to see if they can troubleshoot the issue. The teacher's communicate with them. We get a parent login to check in on our students and communicate with the teachers as well. I love the simplicity of the software. Cons I think there should be a text notification that is sent to the parent's phone and not just to the student when the teacher communicates with the student. That we can track the overall appropriateness of when things are being communicated. Cons While there are a multitude of apps to connect to, there are still many apps that students cannot log in to. But they make up for it with the ability to link to any site students may need. It enables us to organize apps and only allow access to those sites which have been approved via our district. Pros Easy way to organize the apps we want the students to use at school as well as not enable them on sites which we do not want them to be on. It syncs with our database and has little wait time for new students so they are able to get to the virtual learning immediately in this pandemic time. Cons Every so often there are glitches when the software does not let you log in quickly. These glitches are few and far between though. It's also interactive where I can write messages to my students and they can respond. Cons There are times when Clever is down and it makes for a very frustrating time. July 19, 2019 5.0 Pros The ability for Clever to sync with our databases allows us to not worry about incoming students and all the accounts they require to start classes. It easily pulls the data from our system instantly creates all their logins and teachers can see them within moments of the sync. Cons Customer service can be hard to get a hold of sometimes. We love it! Pros Clever works by putting links to all the platforms that my kids need all on one page. The district can push things out to Clever and I can add my own. Cons There are a couple of websites I use that appear to demand I use Clever if I try to log in with my school login. It added several more clicks than I thought necessary. It is very supportive. It is easy for students to use. The app can be accessed through either scanning the clever badge or entering the user name. Pros Clever is a go-to place for students doing distance learning. It houses many educational apps. It has a cool feature called messages where you can text people and it is interactive. It is compatible with phones and has the same features as on laptop. Cons Sometimes the website has stopped working and I could not access the educational apps. The Clever team worked closely and quickly with the other company to get me set up for my incoming students. The CLEVER team kept me posted with how to correct issues on end while they corrected issues on theirs. The entire correcting process only took a couple of days. Pros This product is amazing in that it allows students and staff to sign in to their system one where then students can get into their various apps with one click. They are hundreds of apps that integrate with CLEVER. The platform is colorful which makes it very user friendly on the eyes. Cons I feel there could be just a little more onboarding support for newbies.But even with what is provided, this product still gives detailed tutorials through there CLEVER University to help you along the way. Either the parents need to have experience and understanding or it's not being used. Cons COnfusing to initially login. Cons I wish there were a way to sort according to your most viewed or most visited elements of MJ enthe platform.
