Cons You cannot customize form/note templates and cannot use shortcut keys to enter a smart phrase (like in Epic), so charting is not as efficient as it could be. Sometimes it is frustrating when you cannot edit something to put your notes. Pros It is easy to find patients by date of birth and to delete a encounter. Cons The least I like about this app is that you cannot delete a test that was accidentally added on to the account. The tests that are cancelled are still on the account and sometimes confuses staff as to why the tests were cancelled. Click happy is where you just start clicking every icon before you understand what each one is for. If you can learn patients you will see how easy it is to actually find what you are looking for in the chart. There are much worse products on the market. Pros Simple to learn and use. Orders are completed in just a few clicks. Cons The way our hospital had it set up, no one could set up their own personalized templates. All templates had to go through the IT department. It does not connect well with radiology systems. Therefore a separate program must be launched in order to view x-rays. It takes awhile for laboratory results to load. And you can’t go straight to blood bank results. You have to wait for the chemistry/hematology/micro results to load first before clicking on the blood bank link.
