Pros Does all we want, easy to use and support is outstanding. Cons We think that being able to run multiple channels simultaneousy would be helpful, but maybe there are tech issues that prevent this. Reasons for choosing ViceVersa PRO We wanted a straight file copy so we can recover or refer to backups without going through the rigmarole associated with compression, encryption, etc.And at a purchase price, not on a subscription basis! I used it to replicate multiple sources to one single target 4TB external hard drive. There were over 2 million files and it was possible to compare and preview the output using a side by side comparison before actually doing the copy operations. The compare feature is very helpful. Cons Honestly there were no drawbacks. It copies files in a very safe way provided you know what you're doing (for instance do not select synchronization if you care to keep old versions in your target backup destination). If you want some other action, you can choose a different action or simply exclude files or folders before anything happens. ViceVersa gives us confidence that what we want to be backed up or synced will be done exactly like we want it to be.
