### "Monopolist in CRM business. Almost"

February 29, 2020

3.0

The flexibility of customization helps us to play around with our Sales and Customer Success processes, which is what we need. Also, there is a number of highly customized integrations in place, that makes a switch for us almost unbearable. However, the usability is below acceptable as of now, we struggle to keep all team members follow our processes, because the difficulty of using Salesforce prevents them from timely logging activities, working with tasks, etc. I would switch to another solution, if only we could afford re-integrating with that solution. I wouldn't recommend Salesforce, unless you are 1000+ salesperson organization. It's way too much for small and medium businesses.

Pros

\- Powerful reporting - Ability to customize the fields, triggers, co-dependency of those fields - API, Integrations, APEX classes - Process Builder - what a cool way to automate routine operations!

Cons

\- Well, you know, decades of its history made it VERY difficult to use, even with Lightning experience. - Poorly implemented integration with Emails: they upsell Pardot to implement email functions available out of the box in other CRM systems. It's not possible to customize the sender / reply-to addresses in automated emails, not possible to integrate with Apple Mail client - all of it makes it harder to use, as compared to, say, Hubspot. - Their Customer Success team reps were not able to properly schedule a demo of the Pardot solution - kept sending invitation to the wrong person, in the wrong timezone. Provided misleading information about our subscription renewal date and cost.

### "Indispensable tool for sales."

November 12, 2020

5.0

I can't mention this enough. If your employer doesn't provide access to this, and you're serious about a sales career, this is well worth the investment. It only takes a couple of new customers a year to pay off the investment and if used effectively will provide many times that amount of customers.

Pros

Along with their major competitor that I won't mention, this tool is invaluable to those in the sales industry. Depending on your employer, this is available 24/7 whether you are at work or home. I'm a bit of an insomniac, and I've spent many a night "prospecting" for potential business. The accuracy of the data provided gives a good clue as to whether a potential prospect is worth the time. I've learned over my 25 years of sales that it is just as important to work "efficiently" as it is to work hard. Salesforce makes it much easier to do that. And to keep that "funnel" full.

Cons

Occasionally, some of the information I've ran across is "outdated". Which is understandable in this ever changing world. I generally cross check my information with Manta. Which can save potentially "wasted time".

### "Salesforce for enterprise sales"

April 7, 2022

4.0

Overall salesforce is good. There are some solutions that do point-specific things better but it is hard to compare to the full package offered by salesforce. They definitely have an advantage in size, intgeration abilities, and services offered.

Pros

Salesforce has many features and is customizable. It integrates with many outside apps/saas applications making it easy to get a full picture of the businesss/operations. At this point they have solutions for the varied business lines/groups within an organization, so it is nice to be able to use one central application

Cons

Slow integration over to lightning. Software is so big that certain use functions have not been updated to new UI. Can be fragmented. You need a dedicated person/team to manage the software/customize build for your org.

### "Salesforce Sales Cloud is the world leader in CRM solutions for a reason"

November 5, 2021

5.0

Pros

Salesforce is able to be customized to meet virtually any business need. Our internal business uses Salesforce and we've customized it for many customers to dramatically improve their internal processes and business results.

Cons

There is definitely a significant expense and commitment. If you don't plan to use the majority of the features and take advantage of the ability to customize the product you might be better off with a cheaper cookie-cutter CRM solution.

### "Over Complicated & Bloated"

August 26, 2020

1.0

Pros

Workflow and process builder is handy, however not straight forward compared to Active Campaign or Marapost

Cons

So many things. For the general user it's just over complicated. Constant issues with the 3rd party apps you NEED to get certain tasks done (plus the high cost for many of these apps). Support is average at best when things do go wrong. This is software for larger companies that can have staff become specialist in how to use. It isn't user friendly and has awful UX. Knowing that almost everyday we need to have something fixed or sorted due to an issue is draining on staff hours and a waste of money. Having to employ specialist Sales Force companies to assist in these is also expensive. If you need a CRM system look at ones that are specialised in this. Also consider your industry - Not For Profit will need a dedicated CRM such as Kindful or Donor Perfect. If you need sales and lead management software use a dedicated on such as Pipedrive, Active campaign, hubspot etc

### "Salesforce - GTRS"

August 10, 2020

Amadeus utilizing the Salesforce platform has been a great experience for our sales and catering team. The custom report creation tool is invaluable for us. I am also very pleased with the ease of customizing the program and how it stores our data. The help team is great as well whenever I have issues or questions.

Pros

The integration team from Amadeus did an excellent job of working with us to customize our product to be what we needed to be and also did an excellent job with on-site training of our whole team to teach them a whole new way of doing the same thing they have been doing for year. (Not an easy thing to do).

Cons

I wish that the diagramming software was more integrated and was something that I as the corporate administrator could add, and modify users like I do with Amadeus itself.

### "Salesforce is a very user friendly CRM!"

September 21, 2023

5.0

I have been my company's Salesforce admin for four years! It has been very easy to figure out Salesforce setting changes and report creation, which makes data management a job I am on top with!

Pros

Their interface is modern and user-friendly. They let you switch between classic or compact mode, as well as other customizations to make overall CRM use easy

Cons

Some fields are hard for me to study, but may be more of a user access limitation (i.e. one field gets its data from another field, but my updating the first field does not tell me where my update trickles down into)

### "The No.1 CRM tool for your successful business"

June 27, 2021

5.0

Salesforce is appropriate for bigger associations that have a huge outreach group, or enormous client confronting unit. In the event that you require a lot of client touchpoints, your association can profit from the intricacies of programming like Salesforce. It deals with the multifaceted subtleties of clients to construct enduring connections and close arrangements. You can undoubtedly see the entirety of the action with customers if your group is working effectively contributing the information. It is less suitable for new businesses or solopreneurs since it tends to be tedious to deal with the entirety of the information input needed to give you great yield and make the instrument helpful and significant. Having a group and dealing with the information together is the thing that will have the effect of this apparatus helping or upsetting your prosperity. Support Rating: 8 A significant chunk of time must pass to get into contact with help if genuinely required and I frequently end up attempting to sort it out all alone rather than with online assets. On the off chance that they would knock up the degree of recordings and FAQs online to be more thorough, easy to use, or give nearby preparation whenever mentioned, it would be more valuable for my association.

Pros

\> Salesforce is so easy to use. The plan is so natural, next to no preparation is required before you're off running and receiving esteem in return. It's anything but an advanced Rolodex with all the data you should be fruitful. > The thorough detailing capacities make it simple to oversee groups and see where improvement can be carried out. Effectively perceive how every delegate is getting along creating drives, following up, and meeting objectives contrasted with the past. > Customization permits you to perceive what's essential to you, not what Salesforce believes is significant. Effectively oversee objectives, track progress, and oversee specialty units to see how your association is performing.

Cons

\> With more prominent adaptability to alter, Salesforce can get overpowering. Setting aside the effort to set it up to really meet your particular necessities can get baffling, yet whenever it's done you'll be happy you invested the energy.

### "Salesforce "

Salesforce is the only CRM I use so I know the front and back to it. I’ve used it as a user and as an admin. Salesforce is our time lifesaver from the amount of info we have to keep track of. I would recommend to go on YouTube to get a little familiar with the program because it’s a life changer if you learn how to properly use it

Pros

It was mandatory to learn salesforce in my marketing classes in college (no other CRM). When I got a marketing job it was my lifesaver, I used it to keep track of my marketing teams, my clients, calendars, Leads, sales team, Accounts ( I can divide different projects to different accounts, which is very important ). One of my favorite think was customer service, super comprehensive, they are always there to answer your questions, they have live chats. They have tutorials on their websites, (they will not live you felling frustrated)

Cons

like many CRM you will need a lot of training and trial and errors before getting it the right way, if you are not familiar with salesforce. Thank god I had to learn it in school and many youtube tutorials. You have to create it the way you want ( which can also be a good thing). It get a little tricky for admin if running a big group. And lastly the Salesforce is pricey.

I always prefer Salesforce when choosing a CRM platform that can handle sales management and project management. I am used to this more than any other CRM out there and i trust this system to always have a way to work aligned with business needs.

Pros

For me being an admin, SFDC is easy to deploy and learn even for beginners. It also is very customizable depending on your lead to money process.

Cons

Limitation on objects can be a drag. But other than that, i have nothing i dislike about this software.

### "CRM Software use by Employee point of view"

June 12, 2022

5.0

I'm very happy and satisfied with the overall use and functionality of the software.

Pros

I like the ease of use. We actually switch from one to this because it offered more features then the other. It's more updated and gives you a lot of settings to go through and change based on how you are going to use the software.

Cons

It did take time to set up for everyone to use. I remember it took a few weeks. Plus we were working on updating training info for employees because it was kind of a learn as you go thing at first. But that was more on us then the software.

### "Salesforce un outil qui répond au besoin pour un coup relativement important"

May 31, 2023

4.0

### "Robust and reliable CRM"

March 28, 2020

5.0

Salesforce gets the job done, period. I can log all of my customer support tickets and updates in granular detail, keep all of my customer and company contact records up to date, and have automated reports generated to keep track of my own metrics and keep my managers up to date. Definitely one of the most robust crm solutions I have ever used. Additionally, I like that Salesforce specifically makes itself a one-stop solution for full customer lifecycle tracking; marketing, pre-sales and customer support can all keep track of the information relevant to them in one centralized platform. This really helps bridge the gap between the pre-sales and the post-sales/customer success world.

Pros

I have gotten the most value out of the reporting features in Salesforce. I have a few metrics reports that I have set up to run automatically to show my weekly relevant activity. For example, in customer/technical support, I like to be able to see an overview of how many support tickets I am assigned, how long they have been open, and how often they are updated; Salesforce makes it really easy to get the relevant data I need in an easy to read format.

Cons

This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but because Salesforce is so customizable, sometimes it can get a little overly-complex depending on how much your organization wants to do with it. It may miss the mark if you are looking for more of a minimalist or simplistic crm. However, I’d say that the robust customization of features that Salesforce offers is why most folks opt to buy it in the first place.

### "This CRM is incredibly versatile"

May 6, 2024

5.0

I regret not discovering its capabilities sooner, as we would have transitioned to it for onboarding much earlier. I wasn't aware that you could create custom objects that link to an account record and set up as many fields as needed.

Pros

Our onboarding team relies on Salesforce for ushering in new customers. It helps us monitor communications, activities, and task completion statuses, while also facilitating the creation of reports and dashboards to visualize account progress during onboarding. Salesforce stands out as the top-notch choice for customization and trackability. We're able to configure fields and gather data as per specific workflows, and even automate tasks for smoother operations.

Cons

Salesforce can be a bit sluggish and cumbersome on occasion. We had to undergo training from a Salesforce expert to implement the systems we required, indicating that it may not be the most user-friendly option out there. However, this complexity is often inherent in such a robust system.

Switched from

### "Expensive Product for High Customization"

June 1, 2022

4.0

Platform is user friendly, but that also depends on how the customizations are set up. Salesforce is constantly coming out with integrations that are sometimes free.

Pros

Super customizable. Enables businesses to track anything which is great for complex business workflows and exceptions. Mostly easy to use and understand.

Cons

Very very expensive for the base model, but configuration service or admin/developer to hire to customize the software is even more expensive.
