Because I didn't have to set it up or pay for it, I found Salesforce awesome! I could automatically log emails with the Outlook integration, log phone calls, be reminded about appointments or client information, keep track of my sales funnel, reporting was automatic so all in all, it saved hours of my day and made me rock in account management!

Pros

Salesforce can probably do everything under the sun you could ever need. It is the most versatile CRM I have ever used. You can also hide the tons of features, you will probably never use, making it highly customizable. Once successfully set up, I found it quite intuitive to use.

Cons

It is quite complex to set up initially, and it would behoove you to enlist some help to ensure it is set up to your exact specifications. The software is expensive, but they now have a lighter web-version for small business that is more reasonably priced without all the bells and whistles of the Enterprise version.

Pros

We have our contact database and sorted them into different groups, which allowed us to target and message the different groups. We heavily used the sales tracking, scheduling and lead and customer followup aspects. We relied on the tasks feature heavily for project and sales management and follow up.

Cons

It didn't feel intuitive - it took some time to learn how to operate it.

As a user, I found the system very easy to use and on the whole, enjoyed using it. The database needed to be cleaned and optimised because it was too easy for staff to enter variations on spelling, particularly in addresses. Some staff would input "Co" for county, others would spell the word out fully, etc. Filtering then became awkward because you'd have to try all permutations.

Pros

Salesforce is rightly up there as one of the best CRMs available for SMEs. It's intuitive to use and the learning curve is certainly manageable.

Cons

The limits on storage. Sometimes a small business needs a lot of storage.

The most beneficial aspects of this app is that I can access my business data from anywhere. I'm also able to track my daily sales and update records on the go. The fact that the app has in built data protection security features I'm guaranteed of the safety of my mobile business operations

Pros

The fact that I can run my business from my phone has made my passion for business grow since the app allows flexibility in running other errands. Integration of this app into my business has been the greatest hack of all times I can easily monitor sales remotely and from any where. With the built in app security my data is protected and thus no cause for alarm

Cons

At times I miss out on my customer push notifications thus leading to a break or delayed communication between me and my clients.

It allows us to manage our sales flow in an efficient and effective way, improving our performance in that area of the company. It has also helped us maintain regular points of contact with the opps.

Pros

There are many correct functionalities of this platform, among them I can highlight its flow analysis which are very complete and have been improving over time, it also allows capturing email data, monitoring communications and allows integration perfect with SalesForce and Outlook. Although not all these features were good all the time, we must highlight the ability of this product to constantly update itself and always know what tools to improve to provide a better experience every time.

Cons

There are some problems with predictive analytics, especially when trying to use a specialized object for people with special treatment and this causes us delays on some occasions. There has also been quite a drastic attention to customer service during the last semester, and this leaves us with many doubts for users.

Polished sales process. Lots of promises. Bright, enthusiastic young people. Pricing that hooks you in. The reality" You are on your own. If you signed up for too many licenses, tough luck. If you are having trouble using it; live with it. If you didn't set it up right, that's your problem. Eventually, we dumped it and went to a simpler tool. Boy, was I a fool to think this would be easy. Staff resistance was an issue. People were too busy to keep it up to date. It was like you needed a team just to track the project tracking, data entry and reporting. Not ideal for a business where every client and every engagement was unique. Oh, the money I wasted.

Pros

The prospect of improving project tracking, opportunities, etc. for the ad agency side of our business. It was going to change our business life. It really seemed like a good idea.

Cons

The set up process was poor, hence we didn't help ourselves much by the inept, unschooled effort in setting this tool up. It required the commitment of more time and staff than as a four-person enterprise we had to spare. But no one told us that. Frankly, the legal pad that we used to keep track of issues and opportunities was far better than this expensive nightmare that withered off eventually due to non-user-friendliness. It's great for a big company, but once they sold us and we signed on for three long years, we were sunk. Even the print and format of the reports was too small. Maybe we were incompetent, but no SaaS user should ever be so up a creek.

Pros

Salesforce is more reliable tool as Customer Relationship management software. Salesforce comes with a bunch of pre installed application. It has Sales, service, etc application. A great features are available in Salesforce like workflow, process builder, flow for automation. The user interface of this is very user friendly. The App exchange is store from where you can download and installed the application. There are many standard object are available on the Salesforce viz Account, contact, lead, opportunity, case,etc. The very ease to use report and dashboard features are provided by Salesforce. The Salesforce supports programming language also for operation and management of org. It runs on cloud so no need to setup the infrastructure for it.

Cons

The main disadvantage of Salesforce is the price. The price is based on per user. It has its own programming language so the before the implementation you should learn its programming language. The company has to hire administrator for handling it.

I like to use Salesforce as it's easily customizable. It's a one stop shop for most of the tools that we are using. It contains customer's accounts at the same time the tools we use to identify the issue on the account.

Cons

Since we have customized it, it has a lot of tabs and can get confusing at times.

Salesforce was an asset in my daily functions at work it allowed me to be more self sufficient when helping clients resolve issues. Excellent product, I would highly recommend it.

Pros

Salesforce was pretty easy to understand how to go between the features that I used daily at my job. I liked using sales force you could locate a lot of information in one area. It cut down on searching for information it was all in one system that was my favorite part of using this software.

Cons

This software meet all of my expectations. I did not find any cons when using it.

Overall it is solid. You cannot go wrong with it, but to get the most out of it, you have to invest into the addons.

Pros

It has a rich development culture, so there are lots of addons available. It is also very easy to use. You can get started right away without any training

Cons

They need to figure out the classic vs lightning. Lightning is better, but you can do more with classic. A lot of its features have to be programmed into Lightning.

Pros

Salesforce is a wonderful software if you're looking for an all-in one sales management CRM. You can really track progress from first contact through to close. It's helped keep me organized and on target for my sales management.

Cons

The transparency between this system and others could be improved. Or maybe if Salesforce became a sales platform there would be no need for another platform. Also, sometimes the data can be a bit cumbersome, but that may be part of how the administrator set it up.

Pros

Salesforce is easy to use - and is constantly upgrading features. The most important features include contact tracking and the ability to interface with other platforms such as Google.

Cons

Sometimes Salesforce can be overwhelming - it is necessary to work with support to create a customized dashboard and display that works for your business set up.

All sales and marketing team members can view related information, which makes Salesforce beneficial overall. There are better options available as a purely sales tool, though. This is why bigger organizations employ this software, but in my opinion, it is too rigid for startups and smaller businesses.

Pros

I appreciate Salesforce's extensive customization and automation features. It's nice to have a tool at your disposal that can eliminate a lot of the need for human judgement, freeing up the team members to concentrate on their duties while Salesforce handles the labor-intensive tasks.

Cons

I dislike having to log in every time, thus I would much rather be able to use multifactor authentication without having to use my phone. Furthermore, When we changed to Lightning, the performance plummeted and became incredibly sluggish.

Cons

Once we started using Salesforce, we have increased our repeat business from our existing clients and our conversion rate from the leads and referrals we receive has skyrocketed. We are able to tailor our offerings to the prospects specific needs and their response has been overwhelmingly positive. We often get comments about how they feel like we understand them better than our competitors.

Pros

Salesforce is probably the most functional CRM tool on the market, and one of the easiest to set up and use. It worked right out of the box, and we have continued to expand the features we use. One of the best things are all the plugins available, which allow you to customize the environment to fit your business' specific requirements. Our revenues have doubled consistently year-to-year and our customer satisfaction ratings have improved dramatically since we began using Salesforce. My team has threatened to revolt if we ever consider moving to a different platform.

Cons

The licensing structure favors larger organizations, but the fees we pay are still reasonable for the value we get from the product.

is incredibly powerful and customizable. The opportunity tracking and pipeline management tools are top-notch, giving you complete visibility into your sales process. The mobile app allows me to stay productive on-the-go. I love the integration with other apps like Gmail, calendars, etc. It really consolidates everything I need for sales into one platform. The reporting and dashboards provide excellent insights.

Cons

The learning curve can be quite steep, especially for more advanced functionality. New users will likely need training and support. The pricing model with multiple tiers and add-ons can get very expensive as you scale up, especially for smaller businesses. Some find the interface a bit clunky and dated compared to newer CRMs.

We benefit by using Salesforce by documenting and managing all of our customer leads in real-time. It's so easy to use and once your team is on board, they will love it.

Pros

I thought about the pros before writing this review. Honestly, there's so many it's hard for me to pick my favorite ones. However, since it's a review, I should comment about some of the ones that have made a profound impact on our sales organization. 1. It integrates with nearly every other third-party product. For example, on one project I served on for a software company, we needed to embed our Salesforce data inside Confluence. Bingo, piece of cake. 2. Data management is simple. You don't need to be an SQL power user. We even have trainees in our account on their first week managing parts of our data groups. 3. Syncing between Salesforce and other systems is instant. Got to love one-button solutions. 4. Customer profile updates are a breeze. Since we're a sales organization, it's vital we document every shred of customer contact to move sales forward.

Cons

The cons are only limited to user knowledge. If you're new to Salesforce, take time to get proper training. We took our learning path slowly before diving in head first. It helped us understand the functions much better than using trial and error.

Pros

One of the cool things about Salesforce is all the customization capabilities. You can tailor it to suit your sales and business processes as needed around your teams. It's extremely versatile, though the setup could be challenging and may take quite a bit of time and planning. Integrations are good - it will plug into almost anything out there!

Cons

An advantage is that most information can be shown on one page, but in our organization, there are way too many fields available as options to display and so it can result in cluttered views. I wish the interface was better. I wish it did not time out every few minutes -- log in requires 2FA, so this makes it a pain to have to log in again. The spam email updates it generates is unbelievably annoying -- I have an email rule to del with it, but it really ought to be configurable.

It helps in keeping a record of communication with customers, any type of case notes which may help any other engineer in my absence to understand what has been happening on the case and to take the troubleshooting further for customers' issues from where I left off. The way whole web pages are designed, is very sorted, and all the customer contact details, case related information and everything what could be useful are placed really well

Pros

The ease of use Salesforce CRM and customer service tools provide is unmatchable. Though I have not used any other company's similar products, but I don't feel like using any other solution after using this one. Being in customer support team and handling customer cases, this software is something I use daily, and I like every bit of it.

Cons

Sometimes the updates changes the whole look and feel which then require some time to be familiar with the portal

I've been customizing Salesforce instances for some years now for Real Estate agencies and we have been able to accomplish most the client's needs. However it has required a lot of customization using their programming languages.

Pros

It provides tools to automate workflows, lead routing and more without coding. Salesforce is a huge platform, so anything is possible, but then you need to learn how to program it. From a developer's perspective, the platform is very complete and has a huge community.

Cons

If you are only going to use it as-is, there more accessible and affordable alternatives. Support is ok but there are many obviously missing features (as shown through their own feature request platform) that can go many years without being fulfilled. It can be a challenge to code for the platform because of limits, but it also forces you to create optimal code and solutions.
