### "So much potential"

February 3, 2020

5.0

Love hate relationship. Fixing the usability of lightning would do wonders.

Pros

Salesforce is the lifeblood of our sales organization, and overall, has everything we could ever want or need. The cream of CRM solutions in my opinion.

Cons

The shift to Lightning has crippled our productivity compared to Salesforce classic. Quick and simple actions like updating a field instantly in Classic gobble up RAM and site load for exactly equivalent activities in Lightning. Our users with Macbook Airs had to swap out their computers with old Macbook Pros that could make the platform usable... but little helps. I have a fully loaded 2019 Macbook Pro with a 2.3 Ghz 8-core i9 processor and 32GB of RAM and hard-wire my ethernet with about 420 Mbps download speeds. Yet, it's somehow still not enough to prevent endless rendering and load times in Salesforce for basic tasks.

### "Great CRM Tool"

November 12, 2021

3.0

It is too expensive and it needs to be improves but to be honest Salesforces Sales Cloud is still the best customer relationship management tool in the CRM industry at the moment. The best Pros of this software t that I love a lot is the features. It provides a lot of features which other tools do not have.

Pros

\* It is a great CRM Tool especially for B2B sales effort. \* It is a very mature tool in the industry. \* Thera are a lot of strong CRM features that other tools do not provide. \* It manages your sales in an efficient and effective way. \* It is a flexible tool \* It provides lots of learning structure for CRM.

Cons

\* Unfortunately, it is expensive. It costs a lot compared to other products in the sector. \* The setup process takes a lot of time. \* Dashboard functionality and the UI are not improved as they are expected. \* To be honest, it is not for every organization

### "Salesforce Review"

November 24, 2019

4.0

Salesforce.com is best for businesses that need or will need a lot of functionality and integration; that are really looking for a one-stop shop. If you want something that you can load with contacts today, Salesforce.com is not your solution – it takes time to set up and design. It can be overkill for new and small businesses who just want a lightweight CRM that isn’t an Excel spreadsheet. If you want functionality that grows with you and can afford the setup time, then go for it. Salesforce is an industry standard that will continue to outlive many of its competitors for years to come.

Pros

Salesforce.com has a high market share – around 20%, which means that many other businesses feel confident enough with Salesforce to run their business on it. Multitude of solutions to select from including add-ons such as the Financial Services Cloud. You get to decide what to measure and have choices for how to measure.

Cons

It can be daunting to pick the best solution for you. It feels like you get nickle and dime-d with an additional fee for each add-on. Setup is complex with any CRM, but more so with Salesforce. You have to give them your contact information to see their marketing. It’s like paying them to let them market to you. Marketing is misleading. When you think you have found a solution that could help you, there is a friendly “Watch a Demo” button. However, the button doesn’t lead you to a viewable video. You have to complete a form and be contacted by a person that could close you on the solution.

### "Good for CRM - Difficult Reporting"

February 20, 2020

4.0

Using this daily as a tool for CRM and project/opportunity management is relatively easy, and users at all levels within the organization are able to find the information they need simply.

Pros

We use this program for CRM, and have recently looked at it to use it for VRM. It is easy to use for handling customer information, project information, and bidding/opportunity management. Users of all levels within the company can find projects and customers with relative ease to get the information they need.

Cons

The new Lightning version caused a lot of confusion within the company, as we weren't all aware of its release ahead of time, nor do we understand what the benefits of using it are. It appears to be a new GUI without any additional content, though that is speculative, so we have returned to the original ('classic'?) SF view and will continue using that until or unless we find that the Lighting version has features we need. Additionally, and this may be because of the way our system was set up, it appears that the data sets are separated by Opportunity / Project / Account, so it is sometimes difficult to create reports which need information from those three apparently disparate and compartmentalized sources of information, which has led to many users not creating or using the Reports portion. Having used Microsoft and Domo for data visualization, they were in many ways much easier to use to find, transform, and manipulate the data as a lot of it was drag-and drop and was very clear to users without a solid data organization background.

### "Highly Customizable but Get an Approved SF Partner if You're a Small Business"

April 6, 2020

5.0

Overall, we have had a great experience with Salesforce. We get our licenses as a non-profit through the Salesforce Foundation which is a huge benefit. Unfortunately along with that, we don't receive any customer support from Salesforce, so having a SF Partner is very important in getting the help we need. We have a managed services plan with our partner to assist us as needs arise.

Pros

Salesforce helps us with many important business tasks, and particularly, creating quotes and pushing those quotes into our eCommerce platform (Big Commerce) to allow staff to complete an order. We also have a sync that brings orders from Big Commerce back into Salesforce and aligns them to existing accounts and contacts. These processes save staff time and automates our ability to align orders to records in SF.

Cons

Salesforce Lightning is much more user friendly than classic. I still don't have the skills needed to customize pages and fields, and I find the UI to be a little confusing with dashboards and apps.

### "Salesforce for Robotics Automation Industry - Overall Review"

July 12, 2020

5.0

Overall the best business solution product and change your company's value and way of work. Must give it a try.

Pros

I have started using salesforce exactly one year before and I totally loved it. The best part is that it is object oriented and very easy to learn for anyone. The best is that you can integrate anything you can name. You can connect any softwares like calendly, microsoft office tools with API integration. Here is a indept overview - \* Very easy to integrate with anything you can name \* Salesforce has it's own development language called apex which is similar to c# and really easy to learn. \*Really like the easy UX/UI and you can change whatever you want. \*You can customize what ness to see your salesforce dashboard. For example, I am in life science industry and really easy to learn latest news about industry while being at work. \*Very nice and well performed analytics though salesforce Einstein \*Easy to pull and push data. \*Reliability about the- salesforce has a seperate instace to push anything so that no one can do anything wrong to it. \*Email notifications

Cons

\* default features could be improved but the fact that you can develop your own features is a good thing. \* No one step chat option with the salesforce support \* No ping options Honestly these are not the cons but lack of default features. But can't complain since they have the option to develop.

Reason for choosing Salesforce Sales Cloud

When we thought about developing our own CRM salesforce like software, we realized it's going to be way costlier to higher engineer and maintain the product, and that's why we move with salesforce. Also, since there is already a great reputation about this product, we didn't hesitate with our decision.

### "Sales force for your product"

September 26, 2022

5.0

I've been utilizing business highlights for a very long time in addition to and it's had the option to smooth out a great deal of new business and customers that are hoping to develop and learn commitment and various procedures they need assistance with.

Pros

Salesforce Sales Cloud can get a ton of things done without paying out more cash to deal with your organization and content.

Cons

Now and again the back and programming isn't liquid and connections will be handicapped for clients on the off chance that they don't have full consents to get to everything.

### "Powerful, All in One CRM"

February 4, 2021

5.0

I am a Salesforce Admin and I work in Salesforce daily. I enjoy using the CRM, I find it very easy to use and reliable.

Pros

I like the tons of features that Salesforce has built into it. Those features are easy to use, easy to implement, and adoption rates are relatively high, even for people without a technical background (very important for sales users).

Cons

I found Salesforce difficult to navigate when I first started using it, so it can seem daunting to new users until they get a feel for navigation. I also feel that Salesforce is rather expensive per license. I know the cost is worth it for all of the features that are provided, but still rather expensive.

### "Salesforce for sales forecasting"

October 10, 2020

5.0

I would say i'm pretty happy with Salesforce CRM, but there are not many other options for sales forecast management

Pros

Cons

There are so many fields, that I only use about 20% of the fields that need to be filled out

### "Salesforce is a great way to keep a finger on the pulse of your sales organization."

December 14, 2017

5.0

Housed account details, revenue history, products purchased history. Tracked contact details and notes. Tracked call and appointment history and details. Ability to track weekly sales activity at different stages of the sales pipeline. Ability to track revenue by sales stage. Track performance to KPIs. View progress at the team level or by individual.

Pros

A customized platform makes managing your sales organization exponentially more efficient. Eliminate lengthy recap meetings that your sales team hates and frankly create black holes of time. Anything you want to know about your team's progress can be easily reviewed in the dashboards. Then you just meet with those who need assistance or one-on-one coaching.

Cons

It can track EVERYTHING you'd ever want to know about your clients and pipeline. Therefore, it becomes extremely time-consuming when you mandate that your sales team enters every single piece of data. Buy in from your staff can be slow. Be patient and only track what's important. I've seen instances where trying to implement this highly sophisticated CRM has caused a complete turnover.

### "A Really Flexible Tool"

February 24, 2021

4.0

Overall, Salesforce helps me stay organized and on top of my tasks. It streamlines my workflow and offers one place to go for contacting my clients. The reporting tools provide the feedback I need to improve my processes.

Pros

My favorite feature in Salesforce is the ability to create a case directly from my Microsoft Outlook. It's quick, easy, and extremely convenient.

Cons

I don't like the way images are handled on emails coming into and automatically creating Salesforce cases. There needs to be an option to view emails as rich text instead of having to view an attachment.

### "Outstanding tool for managing Sales"

October 11, 2021

5.0

My experience has been great with Salesforce but then again I love managing & having access to details. I will definitely recommend this if you have a business with a sizable sales team opposed to a small startup business with a very small team. However it depends on your desire for complex data management. If you're seeking to manage details; this is for you and it's actually great doing so too.

Pros

absolutely love Salesforce, visually it has a clean look.  I would have to say that its one of the top CRM’s out there. It's extremely integratable, customizable, and great for tracking sales and managing your leads. This is great for your business giving all users easy access to key information while at the same time you can easily see all of your client’s activity.

Cons

It can be difficult to make changes down the road as your business evolves and changes. Unfortunately the changes can be rather time consuming. Unfortunately sometimes the load times could lag.

Reason for choosing Salesforce Sales Cloud

Because I found it more focused & designed for sales related tracking and data management.

Switched from

### "The CRM to end all other CRMs"

February 26, 2020

5.0

Having multiple team members and departments who all are customer facing makes sharing information and notes difficult but Salesforce helps streamline the entire process from when the customer first joins us and signs a contract to a few years later when there's been multiple meetings, in-person meet ups, multiple contracts and contacts and a change in payment schedule. Salesforce tracks it all and allows us to sync other tools and platforms so everything is centralized and simply a click away.

Pros

Being able to track all the pertinent information for a customer or an individual client in one, fully integrated platform. The number of integrations Salesforce can handle is amazing and really allows for customization of features and fields I never thought possible. Salesforce is not a closed circuit system but a vessel to be built, and customized whichever way best suits your company's needs.

Cons

The time it takes to build customizations and how complicated it can be to surface a simple field. The classic view is awful and hard to use but sometimes the new lightening view hides fields that are only accessible in the classic view.

### "Very powerful software but with a steep learning curve"

November 15, 2023

Pros

The platform is really customizable, you can adapt the tool as much as you want to your company process

Cons

If you don't have anyone in your team with experience in Salesforce is really difficult to get started and understand how to customize all the features it has. It's also expensive so I would only recommend for big companies (200+ employees)

### "Amazing CRM sofware"

June 15, 2021

4.0

Pros

Salesforce is completely customizable. If you can find a good software development company that works with Salesforce you can make the software create workflows, automate emails, integrate with your email, find open appointments, create reminders for bills, create tasks, and email you daily reports of all of the above. The software is critical to running our company efficiently.

Cons

It's a little tricky to navigate if you are just an accountant like I am. I know what the software can do but I don't know how to make it do it. If you are not a software developer and you use the product straight out of the box you are missing out on a lot. I wish they still offered a courtesy license for the developers but we do have to pay for an extra license when we are making changes.

### "Worth the investment to learn and use"

July 27, 2022

5.0

I have been using Salesforce as a new admin and have been able to quickly learn my way about the software. The powerful feature of Salesforce allow me to quickly provide solutions that meet our needs.

Pros

Salesforce is extremely customizable through native features and third-party solutions in the AppExchange. It can be built to handle just about anything we need it to do. It allows us to manage our internal users, external customers, and all of the interactions between them, efficiently, and to create detailed reports and dashboards to keep track of business operations.

Cons

Setting it up does require advanced understanding of the platform and can become very costly. Lots of features are only available as paid add-ons from Salesforce, which quickly adds up.

### "Lack of communication, Lack of training"

December 14, 2023

They aren't interested in ensuring their clients are happy with the platform, using it to its full potential, or communicating with them until they realize there's a bill that's due.

Pros

For what it was used for \[Data storage\] - it was fine. But for some reason the account manager never implemented any type of donation set up or integration to our donation collection

Cons

No communication, no contact from account manager until he found out we were leaving the platform. And then by that time they tried to bill us for nearly $9,000. Any and all subscriptions were set to auto-draft. However, they waited 3 years \[and only after finding out we were leaving the platform\] to try to collect on supposed pasted dues.

### "The best CRM ever"

December 1, 2021

5.0

This is the best CRM tool for its User, Administrator, Partners and customers. Easy to configure, User friendly and provides efficient way to focus on what we need to run the business. It is also easy to integrate with other tools.

Pros

Salesforce is based on Cloud computing, which makes it so easy to implement and adopt. It is providing all the functionality anyone is looking in the CRM. There are bunch of documents to learn and their Support team is so helpful in every stage of the implementation. You can create Reports and Dashboard for the Revenue calculation. We could also Customize the system according to our business needs, which is the best part.

Cons

We have to create few custom fields to make it work according to our needs. We wish those features are available as out of the box functionality.

### "Probably the best CRM available on the market"

May 27, 2020

5.0

My organization started using Salesforce almost two years ago and the benefits of that decision are evident. Because it is a complete application, its complexity requires a few months of adaptation by the organization and its employees, but over time the experience of use becomes easier and more intuitive.

Pros

Installing Salesforce is simple, and the interface is relatively friendly. Customization is one of the main strengths, allowing you to adapt the program to your needs. With it, it is possible to have a detailed view of the individual performance of each employee and also of the entire team, evaluating histories and allowing more rational sales goals and more effective marketing strategies to be established. The possibilities with Salesforce are always expanding, both because of the experience of use that we are getting, and because of its high customization.

Cons

Salesforce's main quality can also be its main problem. The program demands great dedication from all employees in the process of implementation and optimization. In the first months, the advantages of using this tool may not be so evident, since a lot of time will be spent on training employees and integrating the program with your organization's infrastructure. For small businesses, which are likely to use only a fraction of Salesforce's functionality, the financial cost and time spent can be too high, making it easier to look for simpler and more intuitive CRM. The constant need for an internet connection for all functionality to work can cause latency problems and instabilities in organizations that do not have a reliable internet provider.

### "Outstanding CRM"

October 31, 2019

5.0

We needed a cost-friendly CRM at our nonprofit that would enable mobile and remote usage for our employees. Previous to using Salesforce we were relying solely on a sub-ledger on-premise client/server database system that, while great for the accounting users, was not at all good for relationship managers and other non-accounting users. Plus the complexities involved in having to train and retrain users how to connect to a VPN client then to a remote server then to the on-premise database, let alone the time spent for the users to navigate this tech, resulted in productivity for technology's sake and not for business reasons.

Pros

Nonprofit friendly cost. No hardware to maintain. Ease of use. Ease of Administration. Excellent capability to extend the system beyond it's core functionality by customizing business process solutions and/or by installing apps from its AppExchange.

Cons

Lead conversion process is challenging. Limited database storage, though additional storage blocks can be purchased. Cannot delete custom sites or Communities once they have been created. Can be hard to reverse custom programming in APEX if have developer turnover.
