Salesforce has been a great experience. I use it daily for work and am able to navigate it easily.

Pros

This software is easy to use especially to track client communication. I like that it syncs with all my reports and updates.

Cons

Sometimes having to refresh can be annoying. In order to see updated reports I need to refresh even after just logging in.

In general, Salesforce has many options for every team within my company to provide better value for our clients by keeping their data up to date and keeping a record of interactions with them.

Pros

Salesforce is generally easy to use. It has many features which simplify organizing opportunities and leads very efficiently. It also allows my company to customize many tabs for better management of client data. It links well to company phone systems and email accounts. The Chatter feature makes communication between staff easy while keeping the record of communication linked to the pertinent client.

Cons

My only complaint is with a recent update which made finding various tabs more time consuming. I did have the option of letting them know about my difficulty and they were responsive.

Pros

It offers the basics for CRM and sales management in an affordable package but also has extensive additional functionality for specific business fields so offers a bit more than basic CRM software systems. I liked how easy it was to use and how much data is available easily for analysis.

Cons

The pricing bundles / structure is not too friendly on smaller businesses.

Pros

I have used SFDC for over 10 years with a lapse of 2 years when I was using Pipedrive at one of the firms I was working for. I was an admin for two different organizations as I was the one with the most experience. It is an absolute beast with so many features that I couldn't even begin to tell you all of them. The level of Customization available is both a pro and a con. After using a CRM as basic as pipedrive the one standout for SFDC for me is the reporting capabilities. For a sales director that wants usable data to drive performance and improve my business, salesforce provides that data anyway I want to slice it.

Cons

For a first time user it is daunting. The level of customization is overwhelming. You will want to take a course or watch 5 days of youtube videos to get up to speed. There are a lot of different views, tabs, features that can get confusing. Especially if you go from company to company as it can seem like a totally different product depending on how it was configured.

Pros

My company is transitioning from an antiquated Access database to Salesforce. We are a nonprofit org that manages 22 housing sites with over 2000 tenants. What I like most about Salesforce is the ease of use and user buy-in. All of our data is stored in a meaningful way and users like it’s functional. The ease of pulling reports is vital to our organization and Salesforce really delivers.

Cons

We are using a 3rd party financial app and it’s taking time to build it within Salesforce to meet our needs . It’s not really Salesforce fault but hoping that Salesforce will come up with their own financial accounting tool.

Case creating handling and tracking are my daily uses for this software. All of our calls and emails come through this system for handling among agents. I think it is flawless and have not had any issues with the program

Pros

I think the software is very user friendly. The ability to store all your contacts and have them associated to their company name for future searches or tied to a phone number make record keeping simple. You can search on minimum information and find information and that is very useful to me. i also like that things are neatly placed in to different tabs like Contact - Cases - Reports etc.

Cons

I think the software has maybe to many capabilities. There are functions of Salesforce that I have never even explored and I think a lot of that could be cut out of the program to make it even simpler.

I've used Salesforce almost daily for 5 years and have had an overall positive experience. The platform can be frustrating at times, but it's necessary in order to get the value out of the tool.

Pros

Salesforce is by far the best CRM in the market, especially for technology products. It's easy enough to use, can do anything you want it to (with the right amount invested into development), and is a very powerful tool when used correctly.

Cons

What I like least about Salesforce is the fact that there is a cost to everything, all add ons seem to have a fairly expensive cost and you have to pay for proper support. All in all though, the pros far out weigh the cons.

I like how easy it is to log calls/manage your leads and or prospects. it also works well from a managers perspective

Cons

i wish it worked better with mass email/text campaigns I'm not a fan of having to use more than one platform for that

Once Salesforce is setup and everyone understands what is expected from a data entry standpoint, Salesforce is an amazing tool. Getting to that point can be quite an exasperating experience.

Pros

Salesforce is large and powerful. It can definitely enable sales teams to have success by tracking every aspect of customer interaction from beginning to end.

Cons

Salesforce setup can be cumbersome. I have never used Salesforce from the ground up, I have always been in a position of transitioning to Salesforce, and it has never gone as smoothly as expected. There always seems to be some element of the transition that requires an additional fee, or can't be completed.

A continual work-in-progress. Perhaps our implementation parties were not up to sniff... perhaps our expectations were overly aggressive but, the fact is, SFDC implementation is continuous AND NOT because our model was changing

Pros

SFDC will do whatever you design it to do. It is very flexible.

Cons

SFDC will do whatever you design it to do, however, that comes at a very steep cost. The 3rd party implementation circus renderers it very difficult to secure value.

The interface is cludgy now (liked the classic interface better than lightning) mainly because of reforming of the search box and overall performance (lightning is slower to respond) -- so it just needs to work, don't need all the fancy animations, "on the fly" predictions and hover menus that cover other things I'm trying to reach just because I cross a hyperlink on the way to where I need to be.

Pros

It's a great platform to track customer information, contacts and sales interaction.

Cons

The support interaction isn't really on par for me. Need better alignment of issues and tracking of resolutions.

The biggest take away is how easy it is to stay organized. from list views to the various reports and dashboards I run, salesforce helps me to stay on top of my game

Pros

Salesforce is the best CRM out there. The new lightning feature is extremely user friendly and as a salesrep/account manager, it makes staying on top of my deals and accounts very easy.

Cons

Though the reporting feature is very powerful, it can be a little confusing. It took me a little longer than I would have liked to feel comfortable navigating/building my own reports. But that being said there is a lot of helpful guides/walkthroughs/insights that Salesforce provides to help you learn.

My experience with Salesforce was great, a user friendly platform and interface. It has great resources for training on how to use the platform which allows anyone to be able to pick it up and start using it effectively. The fact that the service is scalable makes Salesforce a great option for all businesses. I would highly recommend Salesforce for everyone.

Pros

Salesforce has the ability of integration with third party apps which gives it a competitive advantage in my opinion. The software is intuitive to learn and once you get a hand of the interface it's very user friendly. The cloud service within the software is suitable for all different business sizes which is a great selling point for any CRM software like this. The service can be accessed on different devices which is great for when you are on the go giving you great flexibility within the software.

Cons

I have not encountered any negatives when using Salesforce.

Pros

SFDC plugs into everything with obvious and significant focus on API development. The flexibility and useability of the UI, especially SFDC Lightning, has made daily tasks for our analysts and front-line customer facing representatives much quicker and efficient.

Cons

The lack of snapshot data seems like an area of improvement that I run into at every company and role I've been in while using SFDC. The ability to look at revenue, orders, activities, etc. as they were at a past point in time would make it much easier to understand changes to the data and activities that have influenced our customers' experiences.

It is a customer relationship management software. Reports, dashboards, analytics, email integration, mobile access and integrations with millions of applications is the main reason for my likings for salesforce.

Cons

Customer support is a bit delayed. We have to stay on call hold for a long duration of time. The amount we pay for salesforce is very high as compared to the services

I would recommend this product. SF is one of the top competitors out there for a reason.

Pros

It's very easy to use. A lot of automation can be done. The interface is very straightforward. The website is really fast and we've experienced almost zero downtime during my time of using it.

Cons

The con will be the comment section area where we communicate with the requesters. I'm not a fan of the forum time exchange. I prefer the comment section type like facebook's.

I enjoy using Salesforce. I like the fact of sharing / being able to use this software with the customer. There are multiple languages that support the clients who work in other countries who are affiliated with our organization, which is the first time I have ever experienced a software with this support - awesome. I have enjoyed the Knowledge base of working and learning this software. I would recommend any business to invest for Data Categorization and for Knowledge sharing with your customers.

Pros

As a Salesforce user, this manages my case load and keeps me organized for and with my clients. It is easy to use and is not difficult to learn. I like the fact there are "Guided Tours" | Help for pages you may need help on. When software has updates, none of my work is affected. Seems upgrades / updates do not interfere with business so to me that is a huge plus. Have not had a bad experience in 2+ years I have been using this software. No impact on making my job harder. It actually makes the job easier.

Cons

It's not a dislike, but I look forward to maybe an upgrade on Service Request functionality.

What I really like about Salesforce is the ease of use of the tool, it's really easy and seamless to get information about all of the objects, such as opps, accounts, implementations and so on

Cons

The reporting tool could be a little easier to use, also changing or adding fields to objects is really unintuitive
