### "Salesforce review"

September 14, 2022

5.0

It’s all I could ask for and more! I couldn’t work without Salesforce.

Pros

I have to have this to operate properly on a daily basis.

Cons

There is a lot of features I don’t use and it feels wasteful for what we ate playing for.

### "A lot to Learn but Useful Platform"

April 28, 2022

4.0

It has definitely been a learning curve getting familiar with the ins and outs of salesforce but overall a pretty positive experience.

Pros

I like that everything is in one place and there are research tools available within the program as well.

Cons

Access for certain portions that you figure out you need a long way I need to be requested in that can be a bit time consuming.

### "Salesforce after 1 year"

September 19, 2018

4.0

Overall, is is excellent product. It is a complete CRM, analytics, account management, prospect tracking, all in one.

Pros

salesforce is the benchmark for CRM... the options for customization seem limitless. support for anything at all is at your fingertips, tons of tutorials and demos (trailhead). once set up it is very user friendly, improving your business with reducing time and effort to reach sales goals.

Cons

Steep learning curve, deduplication of contacts, anything outside of the box means paying someone to get it, it does not cater to the medium sized companies as well as other platforms can, one pain right now is the Lightning vs. Classic platforms; not everything is available on both, and switching back and forth can be painful.

### "Allowed us to really get under the data for our department"

May 29, 2019

5.0

We moved from Desk to Service Cloud, and the change over was very smooth. This can be credited to Desk and Service Cloud are the same company, and to our internal team that really managed the change over well. Salesforce was also very helpful when ever we ran into a snag. Service Cloud allowed us to really tie in our data with the sales department who were already using Salesforce. this gave a us great information and were able to really analyze issues and provide data to sales and our engineering department on way to improve services.

Pros

We moved from Desk to Service Cloud. We were able to customize this software to fit our work flows in our department. Even though we had very capable people in our engineering department that were able to make the changes, Salesforce was very quick to respond when we needed help and assistance on making changes. It was by far the best choice for our growing company and grew with us for when we needed to change work flows

Cons

You have to be careful when you make changes to your workflows, as there can be unintended results

### "Great for Productivity Accountability "

January 11, 2021

4.0

Saleforce is a great software to have in any sales management setting. great way for managers to hold sellers accountable for pipeline, tracking, and productivity.

Pros

I use Salesforce on a daily basis. Used for productivity accountability, forecast, sales pipeline, order entry. Also used to record data on accounts: tasks, events, communications. Advanced analytic reporting is great.

Cons

Alot of unnecessary steps when entering new accounts. Some cloning of orders aren't streamlined.

### "Best-in-class CRM"

August 21, 2019

5.0

As a cross-functional CRM, Salesforce adds a lot of value by being the one place to go for consumer journey, from marketing to purchase to after-sales service.

Pros

Modularity: lots of features, with the ability to start light and add pieces as you go As-a-service licensing: turns fixed costs into variable, allowing for better expense modulation Popularity: it is an industry standard, so it is easier to hire people that are familiar with its use

Cons

Setup investment: despite being modular, it requires a lot of expensive customization to run in large, complex organizations Not fully GDPR-ready: it does not (yet) offer advanced features required for full compliance, e.g. a granular tracking and logging of consent history and/or personal data treatments.

### "SalesForce Cloud is a Necessity"

June 21, 2022

5.0

Have used it daily every day for years now. Could not imagine a sales team without it at this point.

Pros

One tool can bring together all reporting and account management for the entire company is a must own tool.

Cons

The least liked feature is how manual the software is. For instance, for one account, JP Morgan - instead of enforcing one parent account, an individual can go in and create JP Morgan, LLC, which makes reporting difficult to capture all opportunities at once.

### "A Solid CRM if you have the bandwidth to customize it"

February 29, 2020

5.0

It's still the best option to coordinate sales and customer support and we rely on it heavily, but have also invested significant time into customizing it.

Pros

I liked all the tools, reports, and the hierarchy of accounts and contacts with the ability to add fields and customize. The whole suite of Salesforce clouds integrate well together.

Cons

The drawbacks are the heavy reliance on user input, otherwise opportunities appear "won" when in fact revenue may never have been realized or the order actually successful. The automated email logic can also be a bit tricky and result in system notice loops.

Better customer experience, Good sales portal, Integration of our ERP and POS systems.

Cons

Difficult to use and since its a very on demand tool hard to find the dedicated resources.

### "A Powerhouse of a CRM"

December 17, 2019

5.0

Salesforce was our first 'serious' CRM at the company - and we found it to be very powerful and customisable, although with certain quirks here and there (e.g. storage can run quite expensive) and that some specific features can seem a bit limited. Overall, with the right knowledge, it's an amazing platform.

Pros

The flexibility and endless customisation - with the right approach, Salesforce can be set up to help run almost any business process.

Cons

Salesforce needs quite powerful machines to run smoothly - this can become an issue if your business is on machines such as Macbook Air's.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Salesforce Sales Cloud

Salesforce is just a lot more powerful and flexible than the above.

### "Salesforce helps me keep all my customers organized and my desk mess free. "

October 15, 2021

5.0

Salesforce is an extremely important tool in my daily work. Keeping up with all the accounts, invoices, contacts and activity on each account can become overwhelming. Salesforce helps keep my desk mess free by organizing the specifics of a customer all in one place.

Pros

I use Salesforce daily. Each function of Salesforce is vital to my day. The Chatter section is extremely helpful when I want to tag a co worker on the account and have a record of the conversation. Having the ability to attach an invoice, or email the customer right from contacts saves time switching from one software to another. Quick links to phone numbers or search for directions is a bonus to me. Salesforce IT support is always very helpful and timely.

Cons

I would like the search engine for Knowledge Articles to be a little more flexible. It is difficult searching for articles without the correct title.

### "Keep relations with your clients up to date."

April 9, 2018

4.0

Pros

Nothing ensures more the growth and stability of your company than keeping customers close, included in the project and feeling part of them, that's where salesForce comes in, it's a complete CRM service, which allows you to treat each client as unique, not in a massive and general way, but making each client feel like he or she is the only one knowing what their tastes are and their purchase history, this is fantastic, as a customer it feels very important and your business will always be your first choice , recommending to others, projecting your company at a high level, they offer you an advanced of tools that help you in this task.

Cons

You must have a marketing team that specializes in this, it takes more work to carry out this type of work, since it is not massive, since you prepare individual records, it requires a strong investment so prepare yourself.

### "Best CRM. Easy to use and manage yet super robust tool for follow-ups. "

July 2, 2018

5.0

Pros

Salesforce gives you so much freedom when it comes to customizations. You can link it to a call service to make calls directly from SF, you can link it with a proposal system like PandaDoc to send proposals right from PandaDoc and automatically change the status of the opportunities once the document is completed. You can even link it with your calendar.

Cons

Since Salesforce allows you to do almost anything within the app, there really isn't anything to dislike about the software. If you don't like something, you can probably find an app and customize it.

### "CRM for all!"

March 9, 2021

5.0

Go into your Salesforce usage with a plan - it's a very powerful tool for many organizations, but if mis-managed, can make a true mess of your data, which is your most powerful tool.

Pros

Lots of features, easy to setup and use for basic contact, account, lead, and opportunity management. Simple to track activities related to all records, to log calls, emails, and calendar events, and other interactions.

Cons

Pretty pricy, and can be difficult to implement if you don't use a partner who has implemented Salesforce previously.

### "best known as CRM's continually evolving"

November 19, 2018

4.0

using every day and know this is a leading platform in the space, however for various industries would also encourage looking at mature, segment/industry specific solutions if you know your work flows, processes, etc. will require certain specialization

Pros

\-manages all data across departments and our orgs -every day starts and ends in SFDC right now as a user (Sales Rep) -automated reporting and dashboards when set up correctly save a ton of time -easy for us to collaborate on projects and tasks

Cons

\-was a first time user for CRM's when starting out at my company - the learning curve was steep as well -slow loading times and seems like the team managing has had occasional difficulty cleaning workflows - may be more of an internally created issue, rather than SFDC fault

### "An essential for hungry sales teams"

February 1, 2019

5.0

Instead of having various agents doing their own thing, Salesforce has helped us take a thoughtful, cohesive approach to our efforts. We do much better at closing tasks promptly and keeping our contacts fresh.

Pros

The standout feature of Salesforce is the ability to log every single contact with prospective or existing customers. For our business, this created seamless communication and exceptional customer service. I particularly like the feature that allows you to automatically log e-mails (from your own platform) right into the database. Being able to divvy up responsibilities, conduct internal messaging, and monitor overall flow are also huge benefits.

Cons

To a new user, it can be a bit complex determining how you want to set up your system. Some prefer logging every in under a contact card. Others put more emphasis on open cases. Fortunately, the Salesforce support team does a great job of walking folks through best processes, and there is ample material available on the web, too.

I consider it a necessary and easy-to-use tool, however it could improve in information search options

Pros

For the sales it is perfect tool, because is very simple for the work. the most important thing is in the customer search part is very detailed.

Cons

I think sometimes the system is a little heavy and slow. That makes the user's work a little behind.

### "Salesforce Review"

I enjoy Salesforce in my current role. I would recommend to others

Pros

Salesforce is a great software tool for those working from home. They're continuing to be innovative with their outreach tools and continue to add services, like Slack.

Cons

Salesforce is an expensive product. I like the User Interface, as it is very friendly, but comes at a cost.

### "The best CRM out there"

January 3, 2019

5.0

This is by far a system on a standard of its own. Upgrades are seamless, with full backwards compatibility. You simply wake up one morning, you have a new version icon, and everything just works. Countless features out of the box with a super active community around them, so you can find all the information you need using Goolge in a matter of minutes. Amazing product.

Pros

There is so much best practice out of the box. The system is super customizable, and is actually a PaaS in addition to a CRM. You can develop, with ease, whatever you need, no matter how complex.

Cons

It's expensive and the prices don't go down as you grow with the user count

### "Radian6 Dashbaord is an easy-to-use tool but overpriced for the limited options provided"

February 24, 2018

3.0

It is easy to use as an introduction to social media analysis and computational research. As an academic researcher, I would only use it if my institution was paying for it.

Pros

It is pretty simple to understand and interface with for a social media monitoring dashboard, and the graphs it produces which track term/hashtag frequency over time are very nice. I like the visualizations and colors, and the fact that frequency graphs can show the rise and fall of multiple terms at once.

Cons

It is unclear how much of Twitter is being sampled. Does it collect all tweets within a time frame, or just some? Also, I wish it could do more sophisticated social network analyses. I would like to be able to see more statistic and network measures along with the visualizations. This should be doable considering how expensive the platform is. There is so much more which can be done with social media data using R or Tableau that Radian6 feels very limited.

### "A CRM for everyone"

March 2, 2019

We are offering alternative lending and using salesforce to not only allow clients to apply but work with coaches personally.

Pros

I like the customization of the software. It can be used for donor mangagement, sales, volunteer management, marketing and can easily be integrated with multiple software systems seamlessly.

Cons

When you are trying to customize the use of the software you often don't know when you've added too much or if you need more. The more complex you make a system I wish there was a warning that told you that this function or addition will conflict with something else.
