I really like this product and would definitely recommend it to my teammates and also fellow work friends who are looking for alternatives.

Pros

The most unique feature what I love now is its resilient and can be accessed from any User equipment for ex : Smartphone,Tablet and still the application has no compatibility issues

Cons

Could improve on the loading of data speed.At times it just hangs when trying to retrieve data which is not favorable.

We use it for maintaining customer account information, marketing and sales leads, our customer community, and so much more. We have also used it for connections to our learning management system and other external applications.

Pros

I like how comprehensive Salesforce is. We use it for maintaining customer account information, marketing and sales leads, our customer community, and so much more.

Cons

It looks a little stale. It doesn't have the "HTML5" look with modern-looking widgets and menus. Granted, it can be customized using programming code, but it doesn't have a super-modern look out of the box.

### "Perfect on its own way, a world of possibilities"

A customizable engine where you can manage your business from virtually anywhere. The system is simple, it may require some knowledge of its programming language, but don't me scared, it will teach you everything you need to know and for sure you will be able to use it. It helps me managing my inventory, as well as accounting, employees hours and basically anything.

Pros

Salesforce is completely customizable, literally everything can be modified and changed in order to meet your expectations. You can add or remove functions and workflows. It's all about you and the way you want it to be. This is the one software you will need to run your company. I have been using it for years, and I am sure this is the future and I will be using it for a while now. In case you don't know how to set things up, they have their own "online class" called Trailheads where you can learn how to manage and set things up, including the software. If you haven't given it a try, you are missing out!

Cons

You need to have a bit of knowledge on the software language, but this could be resolved if you check out their online class webpage, it might take a couple classes for you to get your way around, but it is definitely worth it.

Customer information, ability to link out to many different APIs needed to do my job

Pros

Once you understand how your company has the software set up, it's easy to retrieve and change data and track changes. Ability to set up group user profiles to allow access to only what is needed

Cons

Administration nightmare as we didn't have enough administrators. Tedious system management, if you accidentally changed something you could take down someone's service and it would take 1-x longer to restore, as you had to figure out exactly what went wrong by the actions you took

Pros

If you hire someone who costs a ton, they can make salesforce do almost anything. Amazing (but expensive) network of apps/integrations that help with everything a modern sales leader needs. For enterprise sales its by far the best in tracking the entire customer life cycle

Cons

Non-existent customer support and although reporting is possible for someone to do without it taking hours, everything else still needs a pretty solid admin or contractor. It's insanely expensive and the costs never stop coming.

Cons

Pros

I like that all of the information that is pertinent to a customer or client is organized in salesforce. Having that information condensed and easy to navigate helps when you need to complete a task in a timely manner. Also, having the KB articles (knowledge base) to assist you.

Cons

There really isn’t anything I didn’t like. If you have slower internet, you may see a lag when bringing up client profiles.

Pros

Powerful cloud-based CRM with lots of available apps and plugins to customize for your organization.

Cons

You need an app to do basically anything. The reporting in the base product is an absolute joke. The default invoices that come from the system are incredibly ugly and hard to customize. A lot of terminology in the base product is supremely obtuse - invoice/receipt vs. proforma invoice vs. receipt, for example. And you can't retitle any of those buttons or objects. Really hard to train staff because of these limitations. The product is advertised as having really robust capabilities, but you have to pay out the wazoo to get the apps and plugins you need to use those capabilities properly.

Overall, it's a very powerful tool. There is definitely advancement to be made in terms of UX and ease of use. But the customer service was excellent, the features were all there, and it improved my company.

Pros

Salesforce is an immensely powerful tool. I worked on Salesforce all of the last summer and dived deep into the functionality. It gives you tools that you couldn't even imagine to manage and automate your company's relationships with customers, teams, and managers. If implemented well, Salesforce can be a game-changer for operational teams.

Cons

Salesforce isn't a fun piece of software to use. The UX isn't friendly and the deeper you get, the less friendly it gets. They tried to improve that with the Lightning overhaul. However, the Lightning overhaul is still missing a lot of functionality, which makes life even more difficult: I had to transfer back and forth from Lightning to Classic.

Pros

It encompasses all aspects of a CRM system as well as can integrate with app/modules for lead generation, contract execution, client surveys, email and appointment setting, just to name a few. The Trailheads program allows general users, admins, and developers a means to learn more about different facets of the system, such a great resource, best part... Trailheads are free!

Cons

It can be confusing once you begin as each company will probably have it set up differnently so bringing knowledge from one company to another may be a mute point.

\- Limited report generation ability/choices - Software not able to track duplicate records generated, resulting in the garbage in and garbage out data - Does not support cloud system unlike other systems would be useful if this can be included - Unable to have multiple roles per login as a small companies, we wear many hats and perform many roles at once

Salesforce is an amazing tool when it comes to maintaining a well-organized your portfolio! It is really easy to organize your contacts under the same company, take notes after a call or a meeting and create opportunities and close them to follow-up on sales. The display is really good and you can see very quickly progresses you made with a specific prospect or client It is user-friendly too which is not always the case for this kind of products. I am extremely satisfied with Salesforce and would recommend it any time!

Pros

Cons

The customer support is sometimes hard to reach

Pros

Salesforce is the leader when it comes to CRMs, and for good reason. It's an easy to use platform and the sky is truly the limit when making it fit your organization's needs. There are so many integrations with other tools that you can accomplish anything you need for your sales, marketing teams and beyond.

Cons

It's really important to make sure you have a Salesforce certified admin at the very least when implementing. Organizations can make a real mess out of Salesforce if it's left in the hands of people who dont know what they're doing.

Pros

This is great CRM that is user friendly and very flexible. Over years I have worked in sales in different types of organizations (in different countries) and have recommended this to my management as you can edit it to work for your specific area of business. You can manage your customer base and edit and track everything pertinent to your needs.

Cons

Often there is duplicate data entry that is time consuming; other than that I believe that this is the best program for sales people out there

Salesforce is a great tool for sales department mostly if in the pharmaceutical area. Everything in the platform is well being organized and when you create a profile for the customer, you find everything in the same page without moving from one window to another one. Giving the opportunity to work on the platform without wasting time searching from one place to another.

Pros

Gives you an easy way to organized the client portfolio. The platform is created to find everything you need quickly and well organized.

Cons

I never had a problem using the system. Which I don't have something to describe as a weakness for the platform.

Using Salesforce is always pleasant. It gives you the ability to record and search all sales related activities within your organisation. It's a industry standard however given an option. I'll like to use a different software to know what's out there in the market

It's easy to use but it also has a lot to do with the fact that I am used to using Salesforce since last 2-3 companies.

Cons

I believe the biggest problem with the software is the ability to make changes as per working. The software is great for generic Data recording however for specific company used cases it is often difficult to change.

Pros

Salesforce is everywhere, and there is a reason for that. It's easy to learn at a basic level, but allows for a ton of customization and expertise for people who want to take a deeper dive.

Cons

There are a few odd bugs and sometimes we struggle to identify why. Without getting too specific we've run into a few bugs that while aren't big issues they can slow a few things down or cause the occasional data error. Nothing major and the SFDC team is usually great about responding to tickets, so don't let that stop you from using this system.

Pros

Extensive support system and high extensibility. Support may vary from country to country, but we enjoy free and fast online support. This helped us many times. In terms of extensibility, it is convenient to extend the functions provided by the standard, and also various customizations are possible when creating new functions. API cooperation is also possible. How scalable is it is extensible rich enough that I can create a storage and inventory system.

Cons

There is a classic UI and a new UI that will be running with javascript. The design of the new UI is beautiful, but it is too heavy for usability. Also, with some functions, you can not use this function because you can not use the function you have used. Also, it is a good thing to add new functions, but sometimes it overlaps existing functions, it is difficult to understand how to use these two functions at that time. Best practices etc. should be exemplified.

We have all of our contacts from YEARS of user registration information all included here. It's nice to be able to pull up really old information when needed with ease.

Pros

It can be a huge database that you can put all your customer information into and link records and other information into.

Cons

You need a development background to set it up... or be willing to pay LOTS of money to someone else. Salesforce doesn't tell you this when considering purchasing. And your rep changes so often due to turnover that you have to explain your business every time you talk to someone new.

Time savings, the company benefits from the gathering and sharing of data, streamlined team collaboration.

Pros

Salesforce offers nearly everything a company needs in a CRM package. It was easy to get our sales and management staff on-board and they quickly adopted it with minimal training. Back end reporting combined with the user functions and tracking does everything you need, eliminating the need to get several programs and software.

Cons

Reports can be difficult to customize for the average user, much easier if you have an in house power user or IT department.
