### "Promises, or Promising?"

It is one of the few comprehensive solutions that has a marketplace for integrations that are actually useful to a growing company.

Pros

I like the functionality, and the promise of more seamless integration with some of my other favorite tools. It is a robust set of tools and an active marketplace for integrations into any other part of an organization you can imagine. The new Lightning layout is a much-needed design upgrade that holds a lot of promise as well.

Cons

I've been using SalesForce for more than a decade. It's grown as a software and there is no doubt that they have listened to their clients on the need for more and bigger. My greatest complaint, however, has been unaddressed in the whole time I've been using it. For all of the customization and integration, ease of use remains an issue. I've been able to best many products in the marketplace, going from novice to pro at a faster than average pace. SalesForce is not a part of that group. Once something is figured out, documented, and instituted... just enough changes to either its core, or its relationship with the integration partner, that the process needs to start over. I get along with SF enough to not break up, but I am secretly holding out for a princess in shining armor to come and rescue me.

Pros

Simply the best CRM on the market. Maybe some others are much easier to setup but Salesforce allows you to have a really customized experience to match your business needs. Salesforce Standard features can't match your needs ? Think, be creative and you'll find a solution with all workflows & no-code features.

Cons

Well, setting up Salesforce requires some ressources. You need to hire some permanent contracts to hold the CRM and build things. Licences are also expensives. Be careful when negociating with your Sales Rep.

Overall SalesForce, when optimized, has proven to be an extremely useful and necessary platform for the business.

Pros

SalesForce has a ton of functionality and can really help manage the entire customer journey from marketing into account management. With the right set up, SalesForce can be extremely useful and help maximize business opportunities.

Cons

It really takes time, commitment, and accountability to make SalesForce work because of how flexible the platform is. Then with all of that, it means that their support system is pretty poor and unable to really help when issues arise.

Pros

Overall I think the functionality and operation of Salesforce is very good. I will say sometimes the information is so redundant but I believe that is more because of our company than the software itself. I use this tool everyday to track activity with clients and prospects and it seems to have everything that I need included in it.

Cons

I dont think there are many cons to the software, I believe that my frustrations come more with our internal uses of it and junk in junk out issues that we have brought on ourselves.

One of the best CRM cloud-based solutions we've tried. Very useful for Project Implementation and Support for a project/team of any size.

Pros

Very useful Customer Relationship Management software I've used thus far. It seems the company is also a clear market leader in the CRM solutions space. We used this for a company-wide project implementation which helped a lot for keeping track of incidents, problems, bugs, etc. Different stakeholders / teams are put together to keep in the loop for the open issues, current status and action items. Cloud-based and I have yet to experience any downtime.

Cons

Seems to be relatively more expensive than other CRM cloud-based solutions. You may want to review the SLA of Salesforce though as it is not very explicit. However, as mentioned above, we have yet to experience a downtime (esp. on critical business hours).

We use Salesforce for pretty much everything now, originally it was for the core CRM tasks, but now we're using it for cases, knowledge base, forecasting and many other activities.

Pros

Salesforce itself is great, but what I like most about Salesforce is the ecosystem around it, it's so simple to integrate new components and extend the capabilities of the platform.

Cons

Really the only thing I don't like about Salesforce is the performance. It has improved a lot recently with the lightning capability, but it's still a little more sluggish than I would ideally like.

We can now keep track of all our info in one location (donors/donations, volunteers, clients.)

Pros

The versatility of Salesforce is huge for us. We were able to customize it to directly fit our needs (although we did have to bring in/pay a specialist to do this.)

Cons

The learning curve is the biggest downside for us. Training takes a while to explain why we do what we do inside salesforce. Since we track multiple kinds of information via one outlet (opportunities) it takes a while for someone to be proficient enough to not be making mistakes.

Pros

Salesforce provides a lot of opportunity to collect, file, pull and organize date on you clients. It also is very helpful in keeping the privacy of your client limited to those who actually need to see the information.

Cons

In my experience, it is a very heavy and cumbersome software. I've used it on two separate teams, and the new version is definitely more agile, but updating and streamlining it seems like a major lift for the software team.

I use the software to launch quick MVPs and MVTs (minimum viable test) and it worked out for me and my clients. It has all the features we needed: launching landing page, capturing leads, and make the business validation.

Pros

The bunch of features revolving around leads. Such lead generation, management and qualification.

Cons

It takes time to learn how to use it. In addition of that, the automation doesn't work always.

I am happy with the experience with Salesforce and desk.com. I highly recommend them for companies with the time to figure it out and customize via their API to 3rd party integrations.

Pros

This has every feature we could want and has potential for even more through the SalesForce API. We integrated this with desk.com for support and were able to hand off leads from sales to support that way without losing any of the lead information. Some of the terminology they use was new to me, but they have documentation that can help with that. Our sales team was happy with this product as well as it allowed easy follow up and record of other sales team calls to avoid duplicate calls.

Cons

Like any software with tons of features, this one has a learning curve. Plan on taking several days to figure out how to set this up depending upon how complicated an integration you desire.

Salesforce is an extremely modern design that helps us manage our nonprofit administrative information and automate processes that were previously paper/manual. It's been a huge upgrade to manage our day-to-day constituent information and digitize many of our analog projects. It's easy to customize and make widgets specific to our nonprofit needs.

The UI isn't as intuitive as I'd like it to be.

Salesforce integrates with everything from our website, to our email automation. Without it keeping track of the thousands of people who interact with our content on a daily basis, we would be missing out on so many insights the data can provide.

Cons

The sheer scope of what Salesforce can do is what makes it challenging. You really have to spend a lot of time in it to understand what it is capable of. It's not a con in so much as it's a caveat, you must be prepared to do some work to make Salesforce work for you.

With Salesforce we can monitor employees activities real time any modifications or any changes to the agents profile makes us easy to operate, the reporting structure in this is really great with the help of reporting we can create dashboards in Salesforce for the real-time visibility, these dashboards can be shared to anyone using the email feature and can schedule this report to be shared, Salesforce has a facility to integrate other tools such as AWS connect,purecloud, easy to find out documentation of the customer, easy!!!

While creating dashboards it should give an opportunity for us to customise the size and the structure the colour coding

They integrate with a lot of companies, they are always trying to come u with new features but their days have passed them by. They used to be able to command lots of money but their are better things on the market for 1/10 the cost

I like that they were once a leader in the industry and the still fulfill a need and the products do work.

Cons

Customer Support. If I could give them a negative I would. They have premier support which costs tens of thousands of dollars and you have to go to a call center overseas who doesn't know the product ultimately wasting your time.

You can make it easy enough for someone with no sales experience, which is great. You can also go pretty detailed and advanced, if you know what you’re doing. Would definitely recommend.

Pros

That it’s super customizable. You can really create a view that is suitable for your business.

Cons

Some of the logic behind (but maybe it’s the way my organization uses it). That certain fields HAVE to stay on the page although they’re not applicable and are never used. That I can’t use the same contact for multiple accounts/opportunities, for example. Minor things, though.

I've been using Salesforce for 6 years now, and when we try to move away, we always come back. It has the most data, is the most user friendly, and you can always get what you need. It also integrates fairly well with everything we need!

I like that Salesforce is easy to search. It's also easy to add fields when needed for our company!

Cons

Sometimes Salesforce seems a little clunky, as it's definitely an older software with a cleaned up UI. However, it's still the best in the biz.
