### "When used properly, a real gamechanger"

Pros

Everyone knows that a good CRM is incredibly important for a business and for sales processes. By spending lots of time on Salesforce, it's really impacted the way that we work, the way we interact with customers and the way we approach deals. It's the foundation of our everyday.

Cons

It's not especially intuitive and you need to spend a lot of time to get the most out of it. It's also not the fastest software in the world.

Overall it's been positive, but definitely not perfect

Pros

It has a ton of features and helps keep the customer database organized

Cons

It is difficult to manage through the different screens. For our business, to simply get to a quote we have to enter and click on 4 pages just to get to the quote. It's very clunky in this way.

Moving from our old system to Salesforce was a great improvement to the way we are able to service our customer's insurance policies!

Pros

When my company moved to this product several years ago, I couldn't believe how easy it was to use. I really like that it is web-based and very user friendly. We are able to build reports and dashboards right into the system and we can even send emails to the customer through it. Having everything in one place really makes handling our customer's policies easy and we are able to provide better customer service because of it!

Cons

Depending on how many people are on the server, it can take while for the web pages to load. This can be a little inconvenient while on the phone with our customers. We also use the soft phone feature, where the employees make and receive calls through the system, at times this is also slow or times out and they will need to use their desk phones.

Off the charts support. Always there for us. The customer support team is always seeking ways to get us up and running.

Pros

We have been a SFDC customer since WorkGroups launched. Very happy with the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] Team as they support the client and continue to build out Open platform capabilities

Cons

Pricing for small companies is a challenge and will continue to be at these rates. We will continue to use SFDC but would love to see more SMB pricing models

Our midsized company migrated over to Salesforce from Microsoft Dynamics CRM last year, and have found it to be much better suited to our needs. SF offers a number of different work environments for each department, while still maintaining visual access to the other departments' activities to ensure we are on the same page. This being the case we can track all clients from prospects and partners, through onboarding, training, marketing and support. Integrations with other software apps, like our marketing tools and LMS keep everything together to eliminate redundancies. Vastly superior to the MS CRM, when it comes to customizations and load time, despite the high volume of records maintained. One of the biggest downsides is the uniformity of the visual field, would appreciate being able to tag objects, contacts, or cases with a color code tag of somesort to prevent having to sroll up/down to see exactly which screen we are on. Due to the degree of customization, and the varying levels of permissions, for serious use you'll want to have a true SF admin to understand and apply all of the options.

Pros

Degree of customization, and different work environments for different staff departments.

Cons

Visually bland, easy to lost track of which screen you are on, as they all look the same.

It has helped move our marketing and sales efforts to the next level. We get a lot done with a small team of people. Salesforce is like having a team of pros at your fingertips

Pros

I have been a user and administrator for 4 years and this has really helped us to automate our sales functions and coordinate our sales teams efforts.

Cons

There is occasional lag and you cannot locate a record but overall it is a fantastic product. The build can be tricky but there are lots of Salesforce developers out there to help as long as you are willing to pay.

Pros

With Salesforce, I never have to worry about the lack of security or lack of space with our plan. We have millions of prospect and customer data in this CRM platform and can always count on it to get our job done as we are closing deals.

Cons

When we have millions of records and data, it can be difficult to load all of the data and download reports due to the amount of information and the amount of users. Sometimes we have to get our work done during off hours when everyone else is off the platform.

Automated a lot of processes within our company. Gave us a central way to manage our business and move away from excel. Allowed for better reporting and high level view from management.

Pros

\- Very customizable, pretty much can do anything you need - The new lighting experience brings a long overdue visual overhaul - Integrates with a lot of third parties to increase productivity

Cons

\- Clunky UI at times - Can be confusing to use and get used to. Needs better training docs - Can get very expensive using add-ons for some basic functionality.

### "Game changer - but some improvements could be made"

It was a big change at first, but with a little practice I feel like I became a solid user who really could get around and keep everything organized well. I miss it! I think it's super helpful for sales teams, recruiters, hiring managers, et all.

Pros

I loved using Salesforce to keep everything organized - candidates, jobs, interviews, where we are at in the process for everything. It was so good for making sure nothing got lost, and truly "streamlining" the candidate-client process. You never had to guess where you were at in the process or what skills a candidate had bc if you were dilligent about note taking it was all in there. You also could "code" your candidates/clients so that in a search they came up more easily. And you could search, sort, filter pretty easily, too.

Cons

It took a minute to learn, but also I didnt like that it's a web tool bc your internet can easily force quit or you can accidentally close the tab or accidentally hit the back button causing everything to get lost that you were working on.

Everything in one place, very stable to use, never crashed or lost data. It does go down once in a while and i could not get any data when it was down, they don't give you a local copy of anything.

Pros

The software works, it keeps names and all the info I need, can get to from the web, and is very stable.

Cons

Once I decided to leave Salesforce for ACT, I could not get my data back without paying for an entire year. There is no export function to get all the data our and SF would not help me without me paying for the entire year. They have no monthly or quarterly billing, and for a small business the annual cost is huge. They change their attitude once you decide to leave, and became very hostile.

Customisable features like Dashboard and reporting components which helps in projection of sales or relevant data with meaningful insights thus helping in making decisions on areas of improvement. Powered with AI capabilities which can help in converting potential leads into opportunities.

Cons

Salesforce plans are expensive. If one has to integrate Salesforce with other products then the cost increases to double. Doesn't provide flexibility in pricing based on features. If someone doesn't require few features still they don't have an option to choose but have to pay for all the required and redundant features.

A decent enough experience considering that we have hundreds of users accessing the same system/database. It is scalable across large companies, but I would consider alternative solutions if you're a smaller organization that is looking for a reliable system.

Pros

It is your one-stop shop for all CRM needs. They basically wrote the book on customer relationship management. It's reporting functionality is the strength of the tool, and integrates with virtually any other mainstream software solution you can think of.

Cons

It doesn't have the most intuitive system. I've been using alternative systems over the years that are easier to use than Salesforce. But once you get used to using the system, it works like a gem.

What i like most is the versatility, 1 used this software with 3 different companies, and each time for different uses, its amazing the various uses this software has. The numerous tools that helps me in my day to day work activities. Build reports, allow access to some and not to others, just one example of the many things to do with this software.

Cons

What i found least appealing was the interface has yet to change, its been years and salesforce remains the exact same, no growth on their part.

Sales force makes easy to use cloud based business applications that help us to stay connected to customers,partners and more. It is the customer success platform helping us to connect to our customers .There are several types of clouds namely sales cloud, service cloud, marketing cloud, community cloud, analytics cloud, App cloud and IOT cloud. Using these we can provide various services to the customers and potential clients. It allows us to maintain our existing relationships, track our customers every step of the way. As a sales tool it allows us to track and funnel our prospects and work efficiently on our leads to conversion. With so many cloud based applications available to us we can manage campaigns with ease via multi channel capabilities.

Cons

There is not really anything we dislike. The salesforce support team are excellent and integrating the system to your business functions is relatively simple. Their technical support is excellent and there is much guidance for and during the set up process.

It is an excellent tool that allows, over time, a real connection with customers and identify their tastes and needs. The power to know the tastes, needs and behaviors of my clients has allowed to establish strategies to maintain loyalty to our services

Cons

I like this application and it fits my needs because I manage and control my business from wherever I am and at any time. Adopting follow-up strategies to my clients with this tooling we have been able to identify and anticipate the needs of our clients. With this application we achieve an excellent quality service

It is a very useful tool but limited in certain aspects, I think it has many areas of opportunity

Pros

It's very easy to use, intuitive, you can start scheduling and reporting in minutes

Cons

Has some limitations to share in social media, doesn't post directly to Instagram stories, you can't repost from another fanpage in facebook, you can't compare with your competitors, etc...

It's one of the most expensive CRM in the market. Deployment out of the box are hard so you need some kind of development to get the CRM ready to house, in-house or external

Pros

Salesforce has been our daily pipeline and financial management tool for the last 3 years. It has been a game-changer for our weekly, monthly and quarterly organization. Also, the 'dashboards' functionality has improved the quality and accuracy of our pipeline. On the other hand, the customized reports you can create are a feature to be highlighted since you can dig in details as much as you want.

Cons

The only cons that I can find it's that for new users, is not that friendly. UI can be improved.

The most powerful way to organize your sales pipeline.

Pros

SalesForce is the best CRM hands down. Fully customizable and can integrate with countless other applications. You can build out exactly what you need to have full visibility into your business.

Cons

It can be intimidating when starting out, but there are plenty of YouTube videos out there to easily figure out how to figure out how to use it. There are many cheaper CRMs on the market, but I believe the price is well worth it for what you receive in return.

Pros

I like using Salesforce, to track any and all interactions with leads, prospects, clients and any other relevant information to aid in understanding organizational needs and trends. Reporting tools are exceptional and can be created pretty much for anything you need to do to stay ahead in the sales cycle process.

Cons

Having to authenticate multiple times to enter data into SFDC. Not being able to close and complete activities/tasks on the day they occur, meaning having to check the date is correct in the note completion area. Creates an extra step, along with when logging 1st call, not having the ability to immediately set follow up activity

Terrific/simple data entry and retrieval means that I can easily input notes from donor calls - and then, when I make new donor calls, can quickly review our last conversation. That's really powerful. The frustrating part is creating reports (see 'what did you like least about this software'), and the inability to easily create/tweak reports as needed.

Pros

1) Excellent data input/retrieval; it's incredibly easy to enter data, and retrieve individual records. The system is almost error-proof in terms of finding the exact bits of data you're looking for. 2) Free for nonprofits

Cons

Ugh, the reporting process. I work for a nonprofit, and none of us are "techy." We couldn't figure out how to create any reports. Fortunately a database volunteer was able to create some reports, but it took a while. And anytime we needed to create a new report, we had to rely on someone outside of our organization. I've heard of organizations that hire Salesforce consultants to help - but they're expensive; someone once referred to Salesforce for Nonprofits as "free, like a puppy is free."

Our experience has lots of mixed emotions. The software was sold as a subscription that would save us money and possibly eliminate a few positions. In reality, you spend a lot more than ever quoted on developing it to the point where you can use it, you end up needing someone who could maintain the system and keep up with updates, training, etc. On the positive side, it's superior to other CRMs we have used. Modern, lots of possibilities, easy to use, very customizable and adjustible. lots of apps available to use with it, to add functionality. Verdict, great system if you are a larger company and can afford to maintain.

Pros

Very customizable, scalable, easily accesible throgh any browser or the app, lots of online support for administrators and developers, reliable security and access controls;

Cons

too expensive for small businesses, salesforce reps change often, so it's hard to develop a relationship with them, expect to invest a lot into development and upkeep, you will need an admin on site to successfully use it,
