### "Strong CRM Capabilities, But Cost Became the Breaking Point"

June 25, 2026

4.0

Overall, Salesforce Sales Cloud is a powerful and reliable CRM. It does a strong job of managing leads, opportunities, customer data, and reporting in one system, and it gives solid visibility into the sales pipeline and team performance. However, the main reason for moving away from it was cost. As the team and requirements grew, the licensing fees and added costs for extra features and integrations became difficult to justify. What started as a manageable investment turned into a much higher ongoing expense. Because of that, we ultimately switched to a more cost-effective solution that still covered our core CRM needs without the same level of overhead.

Pros

What stands out most about Salesforce Sales Cloud is how well it centralizes customer and sales information in one system. Everything from leads and opportunities to account history and activity tracking is connected, which makes it easier for sales teams to stay organized and follow up at the right time. The automation features also help reduce manual work, especially around lead routing, reminders, and pipeline updates. For managers, the reporting and dashboards provide strong visibility into sales performance, forecasts, and team activity, which helps with better decision-making and planning.

Cons

The biggest downside is cost. Salesforce Sales Cloud can get expensive quickly, especially once you start adding extra features, users, or third-party integrations. Even basic functionality often requires higher-tier licenses or add-ons, which increases the total cost of ownership. For many teams, it can feel like you’re paying a premium not just for the platform, but for every additional capability you need as you scale.

### "Career Users Appreciate Salesforce Sales Cloud Consistency "

January 15, 2026

4.0

I have used Salesforce sales cloud many times with many companies throughout my career and I love how easy it is to adapt to each companies customized version of it. It's much like riding a bike, you learn it once in one company and from them on you can easily pick it up again down the road as you grow along your career and transition into new companies and new roles. Their consistency and reliability is unmatched and I'm hard pressed to think of any other CRM software that is utilized nearly as much because of this. I do wish they would make more affordable options for smaller businesses that don't lose all the parts of Salesforce that make it so useful.

Pros

It's very self explanatory on the end user side so training new representatives is fairly easy to do in my opinion. It's also easy to adjust from one company to the next one which is really convenient. It's very thorough and easy to customize for each businesses needs too.

Cons

Unfortunately the cost is preventative for many small businesses to adopt this software into their workflows. I also was hard pressed to find help as a lowly employee when things went wrong. Access to tech support was above my pay grade apparently which caused a lot of issues for me at the time but it's been some years since I've had any of those issues again so I wouldn't know if that is still an issue or not.

### "Great sales pipeline management tool."

July 26, 2026

5.0

As far as Salesforce Sales Cloud, it has proved effective in connecting the dots between team members and tracking the activities in the sales pipeline. The set-up was a bit cumbersome but when it was in place, we did notice a definite improvement in the management of our Leads and Opportunities. Customer service has been fairly responsive but sometimes issues seem to have taken a while to resolve.

Pros

My team processes many cases each day and Salesforce Sales Cloud keeps all our leads and deals organized in one place. Customizing out out/layouts for products and type of client has been a terrific advantage. Also, thank you to the reporting features, as this has helped rationalize our quarterly review, with people looking at forecasts and performance reports.

Cons

Taking longer than anticipated to get it up and running and working well, particularly when making the integration with our current systems. Certain functions are unnecessarily complicated for our needs, and it's taken time to train employees on all of the functions it can perform. It would have been helpful to have a clearer onboarding process.

### "Very pricey for glitchy software"

September 15, 2025

1.0

Salesforce is very pricey and their software is full of bugs. It made me look unprofessional and frustrated my business orocesses

Pros

I used Salesforce as both an autodialer for my business and as Client Management Software. I loved that I didn't have to dail 600 numbers manually and I had the customer information at my finger tips

Cons

The platform would freeze , I would make calls and a customer information from five calls ago would appear and the forms I used to collect information would receive 404 error messages when user would try to submit their answes

### "Salesforce Sales Cloud"

May 7, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud has been very positive. It is a robust and reliable solution that significantly enhances sales tracking, customer relationship management, and operational transparency. While there is a learning curve and upfront investment, the long-term benefits in terms of efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making make it a worthwhile platform for organizations looking to mature their sales processes.

Pros

What stood out most was the platform’s customization and reporting capabilities. The ability to tailor workflows, dashboards, and data fields to align with specific business processes is extremely valuable. The real-time reporting and analytics provide strong visibility into pipeline performance, allowing for better forecasting and more informed decision-making. Additionally, the integration with other Salesforce products and third-party tools creates a centralized ecosystem that improves efficiency across teams.

Cons

The platform can be complex to implement and manage, particularly for organizations without dedicated Salesforce administrators. Initial setup and customization often require significant time and technical expertise. Additionally, licensing costs can become quite high as more features and users are added, which may be a concern for smaller teams or budget-conscious organizations.

### "Unmatched Greatness"

August 21, 2026

4.0

Ive used it on the sales and integration front to automate campaign set ups - only problem is garbage in - garbage out so there needs to some automated improvements since admins dont always optimize

Pros

That it can easily integrate into other platforms and can be used as a source of truth. Salesforce helps clarify between teams what the sales sold, convos had, funnels, approvals etc. We communicate internally with our support teams and its easy to troubleshoot!

Cons

I dont like the legacy layout, each time you click an account it opens a new tab, the UI is not very efficient its too busy

### "My Salesforce Cloud review! "

July 19, 2026

5.0

Overall we LOVE salesforce cloud. It’s been a lifesaver for our customer base. Generated more leads which in the end result, put more money back in our pockets. 10/10

Pros

What I love about salesforce cloud is the sales pipeline building tools they offer. The lead management is my favorite. It’s so simple and easy to use. Anyone could get the hang within a day of training.

Cons

The only takeaway I would have is how many different menu bars or options I have to go through to get to one place. Find a way to make it one or two buttons. Which sometimes I know can be tricky. Especially within an app.

### "A solid choice for sales teams"

July 18, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud has been very positive, with the platform providing a robust set of tools that enable efficient sales management and customer engagement. However, I've encountered some minor issues with navigation and customization, which have slightly impacted my productivity.

Pros

Salesforce Sales Cloud's pipeline management features are pretty solid, allowing us to track leads and deals with ease. The user interface is intuitive, and customisation options are plentiful. We've been using it for about a year now, and it's become an integral part of our sales process.

Cons

One minor complaint I have is that the reporting features can be a bit clunky at times, and it took a bit to figure out how to get the data we needed. However, this isn't a huge deal, and we've managed to work around it. Overall, it's a good product, but not perfect.

### "Robust Client Ecosystem with a Steep Learning Curve"

June 30, 2026

4.0

Salesforce is a powerhouse for managing large client portfolios and scaling relationship strategies. It is an indispensable tool for data-driven decisions, provided your organization has the budget and the patience to handle the training and setup required.

Pros

Salesforce provides an unparalleled 360-degree view of the customer portfolio. The ability to centralize all interactions, track communication histories, and customize pipelines to fit complex relationship models is incredibly powerful. The reporting and analytics features are top-notch, allowing for precise forecasting and deep insights into client behavior and product penetration

Cons

The user interface can often feel cluttered and overwhelming, requiring too many clicks to perform simple daily updates. Additionally, the learning curve is exceptionally steep for new users, and the platform highly depends on a dedicated administrator for any minor customization, which slows down agility. The licensing and implementation costs are also quite high.

### "Best Sales Tool on the Planet"

April 6, 2026

5.0

Overall, this tool is one of the best in the business. With the high level of integration capabilities, there really isn't anything Salesforce can't do!

Pros

One of the most robust sales platforms on the planet. This tool is extremely well known across the globe. The level of customization available means that it can be tailored to any business needs. The high level of customer support and third-party support available is unparalleled. Setup is fairly simple with lots of out of the box packages. Creation and management of components makes it so the end user can easily navigate.

Cons

Very powerful tools like this tend to come with a lot of setup. Being that it is so highly customizable, it gets overlooked from time to time. It does take special skills to be able to administer these environments.

### "Comprehensive CRM Platform for Handling Sales."

March 21, 2026

5.0

Overall, I am having good experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud. It is scalable and reliable CRM that helps business to grow more and their sales process make more easy.

Pros

Salesforce Sales Cloud provides a complete platform to handle leads, accounts and opportunity and some of customer interactions in one place. I really like automation flows such as notify to admin when new lead has been created, and sending some personalized email to client and other user with easy in few clicks. This platform also integrate with other tools in the Salesforce ecosystem and supports nice collaboration between teams.

Cons

Salesforce Sales Cloud is really nice, but the initial setup and some of customization really need some time and for new organization. And, the most is licensing cost can be really higher compared to other.

### "Salesforce for B2B Software Sales"

January 15, 2026

4.0

Since Salesforce is compatible with many different systems and integrates well, it makes day to day workflows and operations much easier.

Pros

It keeps all accounts organized and can be customizable to the company's reporting needs. This includes ownership, contact/account details, and pipeline management (activity, logging calls, etc.).

Cons

Some Salesforce instances can be very confusing and complex. My company is still working through system changes with an acquisition and I am working in two different Salesforce instances. One is simple. The other is confusing.

### "Salesforce for global sales organizations"

February 13, 2026

4.0

It’s the gold standard for a reason. If you have the budget and the team to manage it, there is no better tool for scaling a global sales organization.

Pros

Salesforce is the ultimate "single source of truth." The depth of customization is unmatched; we’ve been able to build complex workflows and custom objects that fit our specific sales cycle perfectly. The reporting and dashboard capabilities provide real-time insights that are crucial for our sales team. I use Salesforce every single day

Cons

The learning curve is incredibly steep. It’s not something you can just "pick up" in a day—you almost certainly need a dedicated admin to keep things running smoothly.

### "A Powerful and Flexible CRM for Managing Sales Activity"

April 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud has been positive. It is a powerful CRM that helps organize sales processes, improve visibility, and keep customer information structured. Once users understand the system and the workflows are configured properly, it becomes a strong tool for managing customer relationships, tracking opportunities, and improving collaboration across teams.

Pros

What I like most is how flexible and scalable the platform is. Salesforce Sales Cloud makes it easy to manage accounts, contacts, opportunities, tasks, and sales activity in one centralized place. The dashboards and reporting tools are also very useful for tracking pipeline, performance, and customer activity without needing to manually pull everything together.

Cons

The biggest downside is that it can feel overwhelming at first, especially for users who are not familiar with Salesforce. There are a lot of features, menus, and configuration options, so the system really depends on proper setup and training. Some workflows can also feel more complicated than they need to be if the environment is not configured cleanly.

### "Powerful CRM Platform with a Learning Curve"

January 26, 2026

Salesforce has become a central hub for managing customer relationships, forecasting deals, and aligning cross-functional teams. While there’s a ramp-up phase, once optimized, it significantly enhances efficiency, reporting accuracy, and team collaboration.

Pros

The best part of Salesforce Sales Cloud is its high customizability and automation capabilities. From automating lead workflows to detailed pipeline tracking, it enables full control and visibility over the sales cycle. The app ecosystem and third-party integrations also allow for deep extensions into marketing, service, and operations.

Cons

The complexity of setup and steep learning curve can slow down time to value, especially for smaller teams. Admin-level customization often requires technical expertise or certified support, which adds cost and dependency.

### "Saleforce Sales Cloud overall sales review"

November 25, 2025

5.0

I have always been very happy with SFDC and SFDC cloud. It allows you to communicate deal and customer updates in real time so that management and execs get up to date information without having to wait for you to update them

Pros

Sales Force Cloud is a comprehensive solution that allows you to track customers, opportunities, quotes, and even contracts. There are many canned reports available plus it is easy to create your own, filter, etc.

Cons

Not a lot, it is quite comprehensive and therefore a bit more expensive than other less comprehensive CRMs

### "Gets the job done but room to improve"

December 30, 2025

4.0

My overall experience is okay with Salesforce. The best days are when I have to interact with it the least, but it gets the job done and is necessary. I used other platforms at previous sales roles that I thought were way more simple and easy to use.

Pros

Salesforce Cloud is helpful to manage all of our customer records, track deal progress, and manage contracts. Overall there’s room for improvement but it’s a good functioning platform for my sales needs.

Cons

They haven’t updated anything in the platform in 4 years of using it at my current company. The UI looks the exact same and there’s room for improvement there. I can also probably count on two hands the amount of days spent looking at a Salesforce loading screen when I have the fastest internet possible, so the speed of the platform needs to be improved.

### "Salesforce Sales Cloud Power Engine"

August 12, 2025

5.0

Overall sales force is very beneficial it is a very powerful and comprehensive tool that would be streamline the overall sales process from beginning to end.

Pros

What I like about Salesforce Cloud effectiveness of leads to drive in prospects and potential clients. I have used the software for years and it is amazing because it is the gate keeper for storing leads and contacts that a business owner can use in their sales approach in order to increase their revenue of their organization significantly. It is user friendly if you do not use the platform for other heavy information to store.

Cons

The Salesforce Sales Cloud platform can be very expensive to be honest, but each organization needs to be very mindful on what they specifically would like Salesforce to do for them. It can be costly if you have too many things in your organization that you want to implement by using the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform. Being specific and tailoring your business needs is the key to reduce cost and be comfortable with your decisions as an organization.

### "It's a standard and does its job"

January 22, 2026

4.0

Overall positive, again a familiar platform that does it's job. I did run a short stint with a company that used legacy solutions and it was very difficult to operate that way, after returning to SFDC I appreciate the flexibility.

Pros

It's a standard, very familiar with platform and can expect consistency from org to org to hit the ground running. Broad integration ecosystem to tailor capabilities to needs.

Cons

Still not as quick as it should be, some tech debt in there and legacy gremlins. UI, though consistent and familiar is nothing to write home about - need to bring extras in to truly modernize it.
