The informational forms and documents that can be generated within the system is a great help.

Pros

Ease of navigating throughout the system.

Cons

I can not think of anything at this time that I am not pleased with.

That you have to spell out the entire name exactly spelt & they are not listed alphabetically

Pros

Its cheap. That is the best thing I can say, but you pay a price for the low cost.

Cons

Made the decision to switch to a more modern system. Needed Agency Systems to send some files to do so, and they flat out refused. Told me that since we were switching that they were not obligated to help. I have never had a less professional interaction. Since Agency Systems' API cannot connect with any other management system, I am completely stuck. Run, do not walk, away from this system. It operates like something made in 2002.

They are very helpful and responsive. They encourage customer input and are excited to deliver (and send personal messages when a request has been completed). Customer service is very high quality and quick to respond. We have never gone more than a couple hours without a call back. And sometimes within minutes of submitting an email tech request.

Pros

We are a full service agency with Commercial lines Benefits and P&C. We have been able to utilize Newton by Agency Systems to cover nearly all of our idiosyncrasies. They are continually upgrading their capabilities like AMI and those enhancements are so integral to our growth.

Cons

It would be nice if AMI Messaging could be user defined and not hard coded. The user defined reports would be a great feature to incorporate in the AMI messaging. It would allow better user defined groups to send messages to.

Reason for choosing Agency Systems

Price mainly. The other systems seemed too overwhelming to have staff trained. Newton was so much more user friendly. Vertifore did not integrate benefits policies easily on one client record, benefits policies seemed to be an after thought add on. Applied Systems was just too much, too much. I don't even know where to begin with that. Maybe if you have an entire IT staff dedicated to training and maintaining, but it was not for a small agency at all. We have used Newton since 2014, we have over 2000 customers and it does the job just great!

I want to express my gratitude for the help we have received from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]. He has gone above and beyond in helping with the Domain change for our software. He has been extremely patient and knowledgeable to correct issues when we did our domain change. He helped facilitate that move and is great with his response time and solutions for any issue we have had. He coordinates well with other departments within Agency Systems to resolve issues that are not directly related to his responsibilities. I think he deserves a raise. In my 35 year career I have only written this type of letter to three other vendors. Her really is doing a great job!!

Pros

Not writing to evaluate the product but to praise \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] as a service provider for Agency Systems.

Pros

This product is one that we have found to be very suitable to our independent agency. The support team for this system is second to NONE! They are helpful, timely and put help in language that those of us who are the users of the program.

Cons

The billing portion of the program us my least favorite.

Pros

Whenever I run into a problem which is normally my input error. There is always a way to fix it.

Cons

I wish it was easier to verify policy coverages for certificates.

My experience has been awesome. Love all of there support from the owner to the newest employee. I strongly recommend you look 2 or 3 times at Newton they deserve the time it's the right choice if your looking for ease, simplicity and overall agency oversight.

Pros

Ease of operation, learning curve for new hires, cost, support,.

Cons

None yet I've been using it for 3 years give me more time to fault it.

I moved from Instar to Newton October 2012 and have been so glad that I did. From day one you feel like you are part of the team, and I don't mean like they were stuck with you because you were the last kid to get picked (haha). Starting off you are brought on board and walked through the process by one of the team members (mine was Stephanie). She laid out for me what to expect and gave me a very accurate timeline for the process of conversion, training, and implementation. From there we were diligently trained by the team at My Newton Education and Melaine so we knew what was going on and all of the ins and outs of the system. Melaine constantly checked up with us to be sure we were getting into the system and were comfortable. Even now, I have communications and sessions with the My Newton Education Staff that helps to make sure i am getting the most out of the system. From there I can offer nothing but praise to the entire Newton customer support staff. They are always easy to deal with and easy to get a hold of. It is as easy as dropping an email or picking up the phone. No long waits, not mystical phone system that you have to navigate through punching in your secrete code just to hear someone read from a manual. No, with Newton, every person knows the system inside and out and will do what ever it takes to get your situation resolved. If you are in the market for a system it would be a mistake to overlook Newton by Agency Systems.

We've been using Newton for about 5 years so far. I tested several other management systems for P&C Agents and decided to take Newton. We figured it out how to use it fairly quickly, but the trainer said that many other agents needed more help and training. It has so many features we barely use some of them. We print the checks from it and it has full accounting there. The system is very good overall and the support is good. Updates are done periodically. However, I would like to integrate more with other software (CMS) and make it more sales oriented. Initial price is high compare to some other management systems but monthly is very reasonable. We have installed in the clouds now.

Hello, I've owned 2 agencies. This is by far the worst. I understand the savings from Applied. But my CSR's have no idea how to use. 6 months and we still need constant support. Hurt our sales and service. Spend the $$ and get something better.
