Pros

Livechat This is a very convenient method because it eliminates the need for emails and phone calls. In addition, live chat can provide quick and direct assistance that can resolve customer issues and questions more quickly and easily

Cons

\-Slow response speed, due to a limited number of agents available to respond to requests.-Difficulty in providing more complex information such as documents, images and videos.-Customers may have unrealistic expectations about response time or may not understand the usefulness of the chat feature.-Agents may feel overwhelmed by the volume of chat, which can lead to delays

Chat transfer : This enable an help-desk agent to transfer a web visitors chat ,to another agent who can better handle the visitors complaint. Visitor banning : How often do help-desk agents encounter visitors with disruptive attitudes? The Livechat "visitor banning" feature ,gives agents the ability to block a web visitors access to Livechat for a specific period.

Cons

Livechat is an effective help-desk program and the best amongst any I have used.I think it's mobile app needs to be improved to include more features,aside just answering chat messages.

Pros

Livechat has a catchy and intuitive interface,making it easy to understand the workings of this platform. Coupled with an effective support team, who are always on hand to guide us whenever we run into problems while using Live chat. live chat is mobile compatible ,ensuring that customers chatting with us via their desktop and those who chat with us via their smartphones : both get an impressive experience.

Cons

I wish we are able to access all Live chat features via the mobile app.Currently we are only able to chat with web visitors on the app and nothing else.

I love Livechats daily chat summary report we get at the end of each day ,which gives us quick insights into the basic stat. of the help-desk team for the day.With this report,we get to know the total number of chats attended to,total number of chats missed , average positive rating by visitors ,average negative chat rating by visitors etc The Livechat support team have been always helpful. They are available every minute of the day and for everytime we have a problem ; we simply chat up a Livechat rep. and the problem gets sorted out as fast as possible.

Overall, anyone can figure out how to type in a url and enter a code and quickly solve their problems with someone on the other like. Efficiency at its finest.

Pros

It is always difficult when you are trying to work with someone that is external and you need to see what they are looking at and what they're describing. LiveChat quickly creates a url so you can do so with anyone and share screens. The ability to create tickets and follow up makes things that much more efficient.

Cons

The internet is a risky place, and people tend to always be worried about their information being shared. So sometimes it seems that you are giving someone access to your computer when you are giving them access to help and look at your screen. It can cause some hesitations.

We use live chat daily to speak with leads that visit our center. It is a great avenue for people that are unable to speak at a specific moment or for leads that can not be reached via phone.

Pros

Live chat is a great tool for your website. Using a simple link, you can integrate it into your website so that leads can chat with you live or leave a message for a follow up. You can create templates so that you have quick responses to send. There are tons of features and updates are completed quite frequently.

Cons

Must pay per user so if you need multiple users, it can get costly. Reporting can be difficult as well since the reporting does not always give me access to the lead data, without me having to manually pull the information.

Reason for choosing LiveChat

cost was a big factor and the fact that it could be integrated with our website easily

Pros

I like how easy LiveChat is to use and it didn't take long to figure out the features with ease. We use this as a live chat feature for our Helpdesk and it has greatly improved our efficiency with customer support.

Cons

There's not really much we don't like but sometimes we forget to log out and it creates confusion for students that think there is someone live waiting for their chat response.

I've had the "pleasure" of implementing nearly a dozen live chat/customer support solutions over the years at 4 different companies. Some had some nice perks but they were all universally flawed in one form or another. No proper cross-platform support, tied to a much more expensive solution we didn't need, hard to manage, etc. LiveChat is an example of a company that has a strong product focus and does what they do REALLY well. Implementation and setup is very easy, managing chat (and team) users is very simple, the desktop apps are much better than relying on a browser and most importantly, they have the ability to customize the chat experience heavily which allows us to engage more users. That is the most important metric hands down. If users don't see the option to chat or don't like the experience, they won't take advantage of it. LiveChat is a great experience for the customer and the end-user chatting on the site. This is one service we probably couldn't live without...and their team has been great :)

We have not had any specific issues, or at least nothing that wasn't resolved by the LC team so far

The thing I like the most about Livechat is how fast you can be in contact with your clients either if its for some information, for a payment process or a follow up this is a customer service tool that has help our business a lot,

Cons

There is nothing I dislike about Livechat, we are still in the free trial but either way the price is good.

Pros

You can see that a lot of time and effort has been put into its development. The user interfaces are well thought out and everything works as it should. Among the many other features, it was the Chat that really caught my eye.

Cons

I cannot complain about the product itself. The pricing could be more affordable.

Pros

Have used LiveChat for a long time and it integrates nicely with our Wordpress based site. The few times I had to contact support for something, it was resolved quickly.

Cons

We never found a good way to handle presence management. If you got up and walked away from your computer, but forgot to change your status, customers were waiting, rather than going to another logged in agent.

Overall, my experiece with LiveChat has been really positive. It's a great way to chat to customer service, to eliminate any difficulties with understanding other accents, and someone is always available no matter my time zone.

Pros

What I liked most about this software was being able to access it from my country where calling a company isn't possible since I'm dealing with unusual time zones.

Cons

What I liked least about this software was that the chat screen was hard to find again if I left the chat for a few moments to open another internet tab.

We are in the camp business. Without selling to our families all the time, we are always looking for different way to connect with them. LiveChat gives us an opportunity to speak with them, when THEY want answers. The immediacy of the software gives our busy families answers quickly. It also allows us to connect with them on a much more personal level. They get to know us better and trust us more because we can establish a relationship with them when they want. It was incredibly easy to install and use. Once installed we started receiving chats immediately. Makes you wonder how much money we were leaving on the table.

Pros

Provide immediate response to our customers when they need it. Develop a personal relationship with our customers. Find out what our customers are most interested in learning. Can more easily convert questions into a sale.

Cons

They only con is that we purchased a level that only one person could be on at a time during our busy season. It was so popular that there was demand for more coverage. It was solved with an upgrade.
