This software is the best of all and beats all the softwares that I had previously used in terms of both price and services. Pros Mc-Afee offers day-to-day virus protection as well as web pages scanning daily which has helped me to protect my data in my computer. It is easy to use and after installation, you don't need to do anything, everything is done by the software itself and provides highest protection possible. August 28, 2018 3.0 McAfee can get things done if you are able to work through the program without getting frustrated, however I am unlikely to recommend it to anyone due to the awful experiences it has lead me through. Pros I like how the software protects ones assets, allows one to run protective services and gives offers and options to utilize different ranges or parts of products (full membership or free versions). Cons I absolutely detest how the McAfee software has countless pop ups, invasive notifications, constant redirects and sometimes unresponsive pop up options. I cannot stress enough how annoying the software can be for a beginning user, even helping someone with the software is infuriating. McAfee software, including the antivirus service was the single reason I moved to Norton... The UI of the software and irritating nature of its 'help and support' functionality just was not easy to work with or get through. I was charged an annual renewal fee this year, however I wasn't prepared and I contacted customer service and they refunded me immediately and offered a 6 month subscription instead of a year.
