Cons When I pass a task to someone else, even though I already put my time in, it will read as zero minutes when the task goes over to the other person. " February 15, 2018 3.0 Pros The interface is fairly intuitive. Fields are clear and the selections are good for efficiency. I've heard customer service is good and they work to help implement solutions Cons Time allocation and utilization reporting. We work on a high volume of work and the time average across days doesn't work well for us. I'd love to see an improved grant chart for scheduling and options to exclude time off for utilization reports. Cons I only really use it for logging my hours. Not sure how to utilize beyond that, or if I would even want to. Pros Manages our jobs well and creates detailed tasks for those who are seated in Function Point. It helps us work as a team. Cons The estimation tool is very limited, in my opinion. April 12, 2018 4.0 Pros Easy to navigate and retrieve and post information. Using this to enter jobs and track time has been a great help to improve productivity. Also has been a good way of tracking the jobs assigned to me that have been finished for long periods of time. Cons I can't delete a time in my timesheet when I entered the wrong job number. Do not have the option to change info from a previous week when I realize that I made a mistake, on the job service. Pros I like how you can organize and sort IOs and invoices by client, amount paid, and date reconciled. Pros It's easy to use, and it keeps track of everything. I record my time often, sometimes every 15 minutes, and it isn't a problem to enter it quickly. It's not a chore or a hassle, and timesheets are usually both. Cons Having to log in every day, even though that only takes about three seconds. Right from the start the FP team were happy to help with any queries and even now with any questions that come up they respond in a timely manner with the answers. The actual program is easy to use and the whole team agrees we don't know what we did without it! Pros Ease of use, clear simple design, great reporting and tracking of jobs. Cons I would like a quicker way to sign in. it would be great if there was a way to preview attached files without having to actually download them. " May 14, 2018 5.0 Pros I like that FP is very easy to use, and intuitive. There are multiple ways to review jobs (financials, hours, etc) and pull different reports which is incredibly helpful. Cons I think an improvement could be for email notifications, I haven't seen that as an option. As far as workflow/scheduling goes, it would be awesome to be able to know when a task or notification was pushed to you via email. It does everything it says that it can do and is in a constant state of improvement. The customer support is excellent and I can say without reserve that Function Point has changed the way we work... for the better, much better. Pros It's appearance. It's intuitiveness. The customer service. Cons That you can't create an estimate and then assign it to a job. The process is very linear and can be very frustrating. I can manage the work flow from my desk or my phone. Cons My least favorite thing is how if I need to update the "Description" box, I have to do it on the Basic Info page, the Schedule - Basic Info page and in the Brief. Our team using this feature daily to clock our time throughout the day. From meetings to individual jobs, FunctionPoint gives us a way to track our REAL time, in turn, helping us make our business practices more efficient. Cons I wish the job jackets would have the option to print out with multiple deadlines. For example, a "proof out by" date, a "printed by" date and an "install" date. July 11, 2017 5.0 Pros Function point is incredibly good at consolidating your billable hour tracking, creative briefs, projects and more. Additionally, it allows you to have multiple team members working on the same project at once. Cons The only thing that I have found frustrating with function point is how easily the timer clears (you win this one, toggl). If you accidentally close the tab you were tracking time in, say bye-bye to your accurate number. This is easily solved by popping out the timer, but sometimes you just forget. It makes logging time and charging the client properly very easy. I also like that it has a built-in timer function, as that's a great way to keep track of time and, again, charge accurately. Cons There are certain things about it that could be a bit more intuitive. I think the overall site design could use a little work. The Quick Search bar is also super simple and I use it all the time. Cons there are some nuances, like needing to create an estimate prior to opening a job, and not being able to copy a project that take a little working around. Communication is essential to that, and Function Point makes these tasks very easy. From estimates to timesheets, it's just as good, if not better, than other project management software. Cons The price is a bit high compared to other options, and it requires quite a bit of ramp-up time. In the end, this is not ideal for small teams, as they can be far more agile and don't need something like this to weigh them down. July 31, 2017 4.0 ease of use and that all information on video projects are readily available with the exception of a work in progress dashboard Pros Grouping estimates and jobs for specific clients and being able to search by many different criteria (i.e. company name, estimate number etc.) Cons I wish there was a feature where there was a dashboard showing all current jobs and status at a glance. Currently we have to as each producer status on a given job.
