It does what it advertises but may be a little heavy handed in it. Perhaps more of a business level software?

Pros

It does a good job from what I have seen genuinely stopping threats, safeguarding your system, warning of possible unsafe internet access etc. I personally (that I know of) have not had any issues with threats getting by

Cons

It does require a non-trivial amount of memory and processing time, particularly while scanning and in it's efforts to protect will often flag non-threat software making it seem like the software has issues when in reality it is North blocking the execution in the background. The can be over come by allowing it in the control panel and by setting rules but just wanted to note that this isn't a trivial process.

I get to sleep well at night, knowing that my pc is protected against the most current viruses and malware on the market.

Pros

I love how every time I download a program, Norton scans it and let's me know instantly if it's been approved or if it's a potentially malicious bit of coding. I also love how I get regular updates on malware, viruses, etc. There's a database that shares information so that if anything is coming my way that has already infected other computers, it'll immediately warn me and take the harm out of my path. I also love the fact that I can connect more than one device in a single account! That is awesome!

Cons

What I don't like is the 10% increase each year, but this is standard business procedure, so I can live with it.

One of the aspects that generates more confidence is that it is an antivirus recognized by all, has the best features and security options for desktops and mobile computers, against any external attack they may suffer, you can program scans to your system and external computers and ensure that they are free of viruses and malware. It is easy to use and affordable.

Cons

In opportunities when surfing the web may not allow access to pages known as legitimate sites. It is necessary to be precise in the configuration to avoid this type of inconvenience.

The Norton Anti-Virus Software that is suitable for most universal computer devices is adapt. The software covers malware and anti-virus very well! The adaptable default software is perfect for the novice anti-virus, malware, spam and Trojan virus's. Norton Captures all malicious bugs, raports and worms well. With a single click you can order online and even upgrade right from your desktop. Very easy very useful.

Cons

The Norton Software will create ungiven pop-ups periodically that can be creatively annoying. Giving the options of paying or continuing with the freeware is a great feature.

Too much memory space occupied make system very slow compared to other Performance wise its very inefficient and making RAN usage too much to make system slow during scan or detecting threats

Pros

maximum i have used Norton for my mobile only and as per my usage I have not faced any problem. It is best to clean my internal memory and the inserted secondary memory card. it also tracks my downloads and installed apps. which is very good

Cons

the thing i do not like about Norton is that it creates a lot of notification and drains my battery fast. its background working is not that good and makes my battery go form 100 to 0 in about 6 hours. This thing Norton must improve

It is the best choice for your money...it really protects mine and family's devices. It is very easy to install either in computer os smartphones.

The main problem that gets addressed via Norton is security and virus protection. It does it well!!!

Pros

In the era of virus , trojan attacks, networks hacked - It is very important that we rely on a proper antivirus, security program and Norton is a trusted internet security software that offers malware protection and gives you protection against protection against spyware, ransomware and phishing emails. The firewall available in this software is easy to operate and you can set your own rules also. The pricing and the packaging is very attractive, the Deluxe version gives you protection up to 5 devices (for a year) and the premium version give you protection up to 10 devices (for a year). It's not that pricey at all.

Cons

The RAM space used by Norton does seem to have an impact on the system itself, (It started slowing down!!!) as the updates are running in the background. Norton has a very limited free trial version. 100% guarantee to fend off viruses is missing in the basic version of Norton. Parental control features available only with Premium version (That's not fair!!!). Does not sound like the "Go to" software with the number of options that come along with security software (like Avast and Avira) these days.

Pros

The ease of use of this program is great. You can rest assured that your computer and data are safe and secure. You're notified immediately and it stops all threats in their tracks.

Cons

There is not really anything to complain about with this software. It does what it's supposed to and keeps your personal info safe.

I like Norton antivirus because the antivirus protection really works out of all the years I've used it I've never had a problem with it and anything that is malicious it will let me know to delete it

I think for the price it should last at least 5 years but with all of the changes in antivirus I kind of understand it

Cons

It would be nice if there were some sort of discount program for small businesses, specifically. Or, possibly, even a referral program to be used among small businesses.

Pros

I like that Norton Security is always one step ahead of my business making sure that we are not receiving any suspicious files that we should not be to our devices. Being on the move and connecting to a multitude of wifi networks makes uncertainty of a malicious attack a constant thought. We had an option between virus and malware scan software platforms and chose Norton Security for its years of having a great track record for protecting devices for small businesses. I did not realize how hard this software works behind the scenes of my day to day operation until i saw the results the first computer scan that the software completed and saw how many infected files there were. From there on I knew I was working with a program that was there to protect my company.

Cons

The one thing that I do not like about this software is when It will sometimes interrupt what I am doing with a pop up from the system try with a notice to reboot. I do wish that updating would happen without my knowing and would occur when I was not being demanding on the cpu and wifi bandwidth at the time.

Norton has a reputation of being the industry leader in protecting PCs from viruses, malware, and other attacks. I've found that Norton Security effectively monitors and secures my PC with little interaction needed; however, the user interface is friendly. This is a definitely reliable option when shopping for security software.

Cons

If you're looking for security software, shop around and try to find this product on sale. It can be somewhat pricey, but I find that it's worth the cost due to the quality of the product and peace of mind it provides.

My overall experience has been great. Before I started using this product my computer was slow moving and always at risk. Now I feel comfortable using the internet.

Pros

I love that my computer is safe and not at risk for viruses. If I have accessed something that may be a risk I am notified in a timely manner. Before further damage starts.

Cons

I would say the only thing I don’t like about this software is when it restricts certain sites that I may need to access.

I have enjoyed using Norton, and have used it for the pass 10 plus years, I have no reason to switch as it provides me with the protection that I need.

Pros

It was easy to add Norton to my computer, simply using my username and password, it came with multi users, which allowed my parents to also use the subscription on their computer, which increased the "bang for buck" experience. Who doesn't like feeling like they got a deal!

Cons

At first I did get some threat notifications for websites that I access often , however, after customizing the settings this issue was easily resolved. There is a little bit of worked involved with customizing settings, but I would expect quality protection to involved some work.

Keeps you safe with a minimum of inconvenience. Does not let anything bad or malicious through!

Pros

I love how it keeps me safe and won't let pop-ups or spam load. It won't let me enter unsafe sites. When I am getting into unsafe internet territory, it will stop me. It won't allow downlaods without my all-clear. I feel very safe browsing the web, sending and receiving emails, and downloading files with this software. For many years I have used Norton and I swear by it!

Cons

I have had some issues with getting pop-ups that I actually needed and I must go through a process to allow certain "unsecure" websites that I need to access. However, this minor inconvenienve now and then is worth the security I know I'm getting.

Pros

As at the time I got my PC newly Norton was the default Antivirus program pre-installed, actually Norton virus detention rate is really good, I will give them 9/10 for that. Norton Antivirus is a big name in Antivirus industry space, they have much capital investment which has enabled them to improve immensely in the aspect of their service updates over the years.

Cons

My number one downside experience with Norton Antivirus is that it consume so much ram on my PC, has an antivirus application is meant to always run when PC is switched on, the usage of system resource is suppose to be low, but Norton Ram consumption is always high, which causes my other tasks to run slowly. Some Antivirus that serves similar virus detection services has Norton are mostly free to use, but there's a subscription fee that must be paid to use Norton Antivirus.

Pros

The antivirus and password vault are the number one features i love the most. The software itself kept my business and privacy safe by blocking out bad guys.

Cons

The only aspect i had problems with is how sometimes they would have to install a patch because of a glitch in program. And price is a little high.

This is the one of the biggest names in the market. It's reliable Frequent definitely update and able to keep up with the changing market (hackers do hit fast but luckily Norton catches up fast too

Cons

I have concern whenever Windows has a big OS upgrade. I tends to have performance issue. I usually have to wait for 3-6 months after major windows os upgrade and then install the latest Norton Security to get best experience Also, uninstallation is a headache. Machine never perform as well as before. Advice is to fully format and reinstall OS instead of just uninstsalling

Over all, this program is great and serves top tier service for their customers. I love using this application!

Pros

One of the best and most trusted applications to protect your software in my opinion . Without this I would not be able to surf the web at ease. Often times there are random cyber attacks from websites I visit and Norton would block those attacks or clear and clean infected files. My laptop is running perfectly well and strong thanks to this software and I am so grateful for it exisiting.

Cons

The only issue I could possibly have is that sometimes a lot of safe programs would get mixed in and blocked and prevent me from running the program. I just need to fix it in settings and then I am good to go again.
