I am generally pleased with the program's virus detection and prevention capabilities, which appear to be improving. Pros With a wide user base and strong industry links, Norton Antivirus makes it safe from the current virus threats for PCs.  One of Norton Antivirus's best features is its intuitive user interface. The program itself is attractive and easy to use even for a beginner. What mostly impressed mme about this program is that the team updates its software on a regular basis to strengthen its resistance to emerging threats, which makes you constanly feel secure and gives you lot of comfot. Additionally, cloud storage and parental control are available. The pricing options are all reasonable, and the coverage is adequate. I love that I can get life lock for a bit extra. I love that Norton blocks intrusions automatically and I can review my reports when the intrusion occurs. It also protects me on the internet as well. It is maintenance free! Pros I love that I can rely on Norton to block intrusions and even quarantine a Trojan virus. I love that I can run a quick scan or a full scan at any time. I look at the reports to see when my computer has had an intrusion attempt. The reports are very detailed and I can usually trace what website I visited when it happened. Cons It is a bit pricey., but is certainly is better than any other software I have purchased in the past. I truly believe you get what you pay for, so it is definitely worth spending the extra money for safety purposes. The installer is small and easy to use. You're not having to downloads hundreds of megabytes worth of files just to get this app installed. It's small and light and doesn't hog computer resources (it did a long time ago, but that was fixed ages ago). It runs quietly in the background and does its job without annoying you to death with prompts. I like that you can turn on silent mode when you want to play games or do other things that may cause issues with the app. Norton has been adding functionality to their suite and I appreciate them beginning to add identity protection. I like that I can buy it once and have it run on multiple home computers. Cons There is no way to permanently disable the ads that come up periodically. I would say maybe once a week or two I will have a small announcement at the bottom right of my screen about a new threat or a new product that is available. We have an administrator that sets up computers for new staff and Norton security is something that is regularly a roadblock in that progress. Critically, it is often the roadblock without notification, so it can take some time to figure out that Norton has decided to block an action or installation. It told me the file area or a similar area where the file was located. Also, the customer service is better than most. They try there best to resolve an issue. I feel like when you talk to them they help. I also like how there are performance updates constantly. Cons I disliked the home screen area option. I mean it's not horrible, but I wish there were more detail explanations on that area. You have to click around or click the option buttons to see what is exactly going on with your CPU. Most of the times you wont even know its there, which is how a good anti virus should function. Lastly, scans are easy to set up and fast to execute. Cons Not a fan of the mobile version of this. Perhaps that is just my phone but I had some issues with it. I dont really think you need mobile anti virus anyway so its not a big deal but the mobile version isnt as polished as the desktop version.
