I like the software just did not like it blocking websites that i wanted to get on to the websites. Pros At first when i did use norton secuirty. I was pleased that it has strict virus protection. So i knew i wasn't going to have problem as norton is very good program. It does what it suppose to stop hackers and virus from attacking your computers. Cons What i diskliked about it being so strict in it protection. It does block alot of websites that you can't access with norton. That is one of the problems i had using norton security. Pros I love the security that Norton Security offers as it seems to stay up to date with current viruses, blocks suspicious activity, and continually monitors and alerts the user of potential issue. I no longer have Norton Security and I really miss the added protection and the security that I felt knowing it was always working for me. I do plan to get it back soon. All of the tools in the suite that I have used have worked as they should and most are very easy to configure and understand. Pros Easy to install, configure and run the various tools. The automated backup is especially nice 'set it and forget it' function. Cons It takes up a fair amount of space and keeps wanting you to also add their browser plug-ins, which I'm not keen to do in order to keep the browsers cleaner and faster. It is very effective and kept high performance level. Pros The performance from Norton is something really valuable, virus and threat detection are enhanced and effective. The hardware consumption is very low and it only requires user attention when a threat is identified. Norton has protection for e-mail, browser and multiple devices. Pros Norton is quick to install and provides updates on scans. It has kept our system from being overrun with ads, hack attempts and more. It lets us know if a virus is detected. Cons While it does provide protection, it seems to still allow some items to get through. There have been a couple of pop-ups or strange items appearing which, in our opinion, probably should have been caught by the scans.
