Pros

The extents to which SAP NetWeaver successfully implemented integration across the different systems in our enterprise are impressive. It was possible to develop one application either with ABAP or Java depending on the requirement of the business unit or organization.​

Cons

We faced some delay while running large chunks of data through Process Integration component.

At start it feels hard and little confusing, but after some time it works very well. Strong, stable, and scalable enterprise tool.

Pros

Very reliable platform, once it’s setup it runs smooth and handles big systems well. Good for integration, scaling, and stability.

Cons

Steep learning curve, not very intuitive UI, sometimes deployments and updates take too much time, need experienced team.

Overall SAP Net weaver is a great product with powerful tools. It just does not use nice graphics

Pros

It is easy to use and connects to our erp system so it makes it easier to switch or launch netweaver easily

Cons

the user interface is pretty old and it feels like it is from 1999. It is not a GUI environment

Pros

sap integrates with various interfaces. helps in management and with the right automation can save a lot of time for employees. the few steps needed to perform some functions and the clean interface are also plus points.

Cons

it takes a lot of training to master the tool which for new users can be a problem. Also, I believe that external support is always necessary, which makes it more expensive to manage the tool. the resolution of errors is not simple and depending on the urgency it can become a bigger problem

This software changed my life, i've been working for over 5 years and it made me go to many countries, and know many people, also i've gained a lot of knowledge. Totally recommended for anyone who wants to start a profesional life.

Pros

This is a good software and way to work, i am sap basis netweaver, i love it because there are always new things, you never stop learning, everyday it's something new to do, you can have 20 years experience, and anyway it will be new things to do and learn, with sap netweaver you can do many things, for any kind of company, food, manufacturing, retail, with it i've been working in many countries and had contact with any kind of customer, all of them were pleased with my help and knowledge of it.

Cons

This software sometimes becomes hard to learn, and to use, because its too big, and it has many bugs, that can be fixed with sap notes kba, another bad point, is that customer always think that any trouble can be resolved with sap netweaver consultant, and it can't be.

This is my job, actually. I like the way SAP is based on NetWeaver because it's a very good and stable platform. It works all the time and when there is a problem, it's easier to fix than it would be in other ERPs' framework, like purely Java or C.

Pros

SAP NetWeaver is the platform behind the SAP ERP, it has the ABAP and Java stack which makes everything works. It works very well and has a good support for customization. The SAP support is also really good. You can find consultants to help you all around the world.

Cons

Sometimes it can be a little slow, because of how some functions are handled, but you can quickly test with performance tools and adapt your function to work properly. It's not a big con. I think it's maturity has overpassed many gaps that used to be there in the past.

Cons

With the conversion to FIORI, the original SAP system is now also brought to a decent surface, which raises the question of whether in the future, SAP NEtWeaver will still be needed to this extent.

It can be difficult to scroll through information or down lists. It's not smooth, but kind of jumpy. That may only be my experience with the web browser version.

Its quite easy to use once you get use to the codes and it does everything that it was created to do.

Pros

It helps to save a lot of time within the company due to its easy integration with other workable software. what I love the most about it is its flexibility and real time applications. It allows you to get the job done in the most efficient way possible.

Cons

Too many codes to remember in order to use as efficiently as possible. The process to reverse an error is a bit tedious and it signs out too quickly during idle time.

I have been using different solutions of the SAP Netweaver suite for a while - primarily SAP PI. Worked on different versions of SAP PI - 7.0, 7.11, 7.3, 7.31, 7.4 and 7.5. For the most part my experience of SAP Netweaver suite was great.
