Pros

i have been working with workday for a long time and i have never had any issues. i currently love being able to manage all my time off and paystubs. super easy to use. clocking in and out is also very easy to do on app or on computer.

never have i had any issues with workday. always easy to use. maybe sometimes it gets sluggish but which app doesnt.

One of the biggest advantages of Workday HCM is its all-in-one functionality, which consolidates multiple HR processes into a single platform. The reporting and analytics tools are highly customizable and provide valuable insights. Its cloud-based nature ensures real-time updates and accessibility from anywhere. Integration with other systems is generally smooth and efficient. Additionally, it scales well as organizations grow.

Cons

The most significant drawback is the cost, which can be prohibitive for smaller organizations. The system also has a steep learning curve, particularly for administrators managing complex configurations. Some users experience occasional lag or minor bugs, especially after updates. Customization and advanced reporting often require additional training. Finally, implementation can be lengthy and resource-intensive.

no much things, the interface is really out of current standards, needs a refresh and overall needs a revamp of the experience

Cons

the UX is terrible, the interface is really slow, showing empty sections (due to insufficient rights obviously, so why showing it at all, like access to peers' compensations ?!)

Overall the experience with Workday HCM was great! It was very user friendly and a convenient way to track work related information

Having everything in one place such as: clock-in, pay stubs, hours worked, scheduling, time off requests etc

Cons

I found that from time to time the app would crash, not properly record clock-ins/outs or lunch breaks

Overall, my experience with Workday HCM has been positive. It’s a reliable and user-friendly system that makes it easier to manage everyday HR tasks. While there are a few areas that could be more streamlined, it generally helps improve efficiency and keeps everything organized in one place.

Pros

I like how easy Workday HCM is to use and navigate. Everything is in one place, which makes managing HR tasks much more convenient. The self-service features and real-time information also help save time and make day-to-day tasks more efficient.

Cons

Sometimes it can be a little difficult to find specific features, especially if you don’t use them often. Certain processes also feel more complicated than they need to be, and reporting can take some time to get used to.

Pros

All the documents are in one spot, employee logs in and sees everything that they need to complete and there is no back and forth with questions

Cons

For contract staff having to change/create a new password for them every time can be annoying for the employee. It is also a big learning curve trying to figure out the system as an employee

It’s been great, we’ve been using it for years at my job and it has offered us everything we need for the employees

It’s a very powerful tool to track employees timesheet, performance, objectives and progression in the company.

Cons

The user interface, even if it was improved in the last few years, still needs improvement. I think they should hire UI designer with experience to fix it once for all.

Overall experience is fairly great. I would rate it from four out of five as applications can become more developed. Wasn't able to find a Salesforce integration unless I missed it but would be nice to integrate with such enterprise tools as well as CRM integrations for full panel summary of everything like Tableau does.

Pros

I really enjoy Workdays user interface. It makes the process for payroll schedule submissions and career development reviews easier and well organized. The layout is perfect for reporting and HR management.

Cons

They don't have a dark mode option, everything is so bright on screen by default. Need more user options for employees to co create task list rather permissions.

The interface is clear and most functions are intuitive, allowing me to quickly find the information I need and complete routine HR processes efficiently. While there are some areas that could be improved, such as report speed and navigation, the overall experience has been good and the platform provides useful tools that support effective team management.

Pros

I appreciate how Workday HCM integrates multiple HR functions into one platform. The learning and training integrations are particularly valuable because they connect learning management tools with employee profiles. This makes it easier to track certifications, training progress, and professional development in a centralized place. I also like the simple and intuitive user interface. Navigating the system is straightforward, which improves the experience for both employees and administrators. Cons

One aspect I liked the least about Workday HCM is that report generation can sometimes be slow, especially when working with larger datasets or more complex reports. This can affect efficiency when quick access to information is needed for decision-making or operational tasks. In addition, it is not always easy to find the right report within the system. With the large number of available reports and options, navigating to the specific one you need can take some time.
