My overall experience with Workday HCM has been positive. It streamlines HR operations, improves data accuracy, and offers a modern, cloud-based experience. The platform is scalable, reliable, and well-suited for organizations looking to manage their workforce efficiently while providing employees with easy access to HR services.

The interface is intuitive, reporting capabilities are powerful, and the self-service features make it convenient for both employees and HR teams.

Workday is a highly powerful, enterprise-grade software that excels at scaling data but often sacrifices daily user experience and budget flexibility. It acts as an incredibly reliable "operating system" for giant corporations, yet its massive scope makes it a heavy, expensive lift to deploy and maintain.

Pros

I love that Workday houses employee data, organizational structures, cost centers, and payroll in one ecosystem. The way that it consolidates team schedules, performance reviews, and compensation updates in one view is a true blessing for employees and HR staff.

Cons

Cumbersome Request Forms can be a bit difficult to complete. Everyday actions, such as submitting time-off requests or filling requisition forms, are often criticized as tedious

My overall experience with Workday has been good in terms of navigating around it and finding what I need with ease.

Pros

What I liked most about Workday was the website and how easy it was to navigate. The side navigation works well for where it's sat, but it would make it easier if you could click the navigation rather than hover over it for the menu to appear.

Cons

What I liked least about Workday is that there are three navigation points on the page. I understand there is a lot to look through, but having them in the same place would keep it consistent and easy to use.

Overall I’m very happy with workday. Compared to other platforms it is way more comprehensive and user friendly.

Pros

Workday is a very comprehensive employee management platform. From a user perspective it’s the best in the market.

Cons

There is really just a lot to it. Takes a bit to figure out how to use everything but once you get the hang of it it’s really a great platform.

Overall, Workday HCM is a highly powerful and secure enterprise solution that excels at consolidating core HR functions into a single ecosystem, though it comes with a steep learning curve.

Pros

What I like most about Workday HCM is its comprehensive all-in-one approach. Having payroll, time tracking, benefits, and employee profiles in a single ecosystem makes data management highly centralized and secure. The reporting capabilities are incredibly robust once you know how to build them.

Cons

The user interface can feel clunky and unintuitive for daily users, especially when trying to navigate complex payroll tasks or historical data. The system requires extensive training, and custom reporting has a very steep learning curve.

It has been a wonderful experience. I have no complaints. No suggestions for improvement. It was designed very well.

Pros

It is such an easy platform to navigate and use. There is no confusion. The tabs are laid out perfectly.

Cons

There is nothing that I can indicate as liking the least about this platform. It is very easy to use.

Overall, it helps large companies manage employee payroll and benefits more effectively, but it may not be ideal for small companies

Pros

Workday HCM is like a digital HR system that helps companies organize everything about their employees in one place.

Cons

However, it can be quite complicated for new employees, and sometimes it is still easy to make mistakes.

Workday HCM is an overall solid HR management tool for any organization that wants to keep all employees personal and payroll information in one consistent place.

Pros

The tool provides employees with a one stop shop for all their HR needs such as payroll, the organizational chart, contact info for employees in organization, and important tax information. Additionally, the mobile app is very user friendly for viewing all this information on the go.

Cons

When you first login, there is not a dropdown list of selections for your organization so it is very hard to find and you often have to ask HR directly what it is. Additionally, the web is not as user friendly as mobile is.
