The course content itself has been excellent. Once you're inside a course, the interface is user-friendly; the quizzes are well-designed and straightforward to navigate. Cons On the downside, I find the landing page layout a bit lacking. The navigation to reach the “learning apps” section isn’t as intuitive as it could be, and it sometimes takes extra steps to get where I need to go. Can be a bit repetitive and uninspiring but has so much depth and scope to do much better if it was more engaging for colleagues. Pros Simple and easy layout most colleagues can understand and navigate. Cons Very basic and uninteresting layout for most colleagues which loses engagement and can be tricky for less skilled colleagues to find how good it can be as a tool for their job. Very helpful in tracking your vacation time. Pros It is pretty easy to navigate through once you have done it several times. It auto fills your work days, so unless your work week changes, it is very fast to submit your work time. I really like that everything (payroll, vacation, etc..) are all in one location. I like the option of being able to use on my work computer or personal phone Cons Although I know it is a good idea, having to use the authenticator is a little bit of a hassle. I am not sure if it is my phone or the app. but occasionally I have to restart my phone to get the app to open. Review Source Mathew E. Each country is different and the system allows you to customize processes based on locations. Pros Having all your HR related tasks in one system (time tracking, vacation tracing, performance, learning, employee files, payroll, etc) make it a one stop system for companies. Cons The security access groups can make it challenging to understand where actions may be stuck. The rules make it challenging to make changes. Allows reversals of Time Off requests if necessary. Great that it's linked to Outlook so easy to keep track of Absences by reviewing email and Calendar. Pros Workday HCM houses all Absent options in one place and updates numbers in real time as they get adjusted. Cons I don't like that Workday shows Paid Vacation Days in a separate bucket than the Regular Vacation Days so it looks like you have more Vacation Days then you actually do. It can even link you to other sites if the HR defines them. Its like a quick link to those other platforms. The amount of data stored on workday is huge for each staff. I can see my payroll so easily on workday HCM Cons I am not sure it is okay to see the salary of people working under you but workday allows this.
