### "I love WD - even with its flaws !"

I love Workday. I use it a daily basis for data, job reqs, data management, etc. its a great tool, its just easy to break, Let me explain, we are a company in over 100 countries, that said, every country has its nuances. That means that keeping Workday up to date can be challenging. However, when the data is clean Workday has everything you need !

Good to use, easy to read and make the work day smooth and concise.

Pros

I like the UI, very easy to use and understand. Now complexity with the functions and you can see where each aspect of the software is.

Cons

Nothing at the moment. It's a good software to use and would definitely recommend anyone that uses other software (such as SAP) to think of this as a replacement.

Cons

The tool needs more expertise on implementation of various modules.

Great system to log all my employee needs. I use this system for various things such as my expenses,overtime, quarterly performance as well as my payslips and P60. On the whole I would choose to use this product over others, however as mentioned above I would prefer a better desktop user interface as it can be dififcult doing certain important things on a mobile screen just because this is a easier UI

Pros

Centralised system for all my employee needs. Easy to use system to use a lot of different things for my employment. Easy tracking of my overall performance and career progress and see how this matches to my managers feedback. Easy to request feedback from our company, as well as give credit back to people.

Cons

Desktop system is not as easy to use as the mobile app. Will always prefer to use the mobile app which is not always the ideal when dealing with detailed work related issues.

I am using it for a long time so got used to the structure. Once you become familiar with the platform, it can help you to manage your team's HR information and records but it will take some time.

Pros

It offers an effective HR management system by providing a platform to manage complex HR information and keep the records. The way its UI designed is aligned with a business structured and make it easy to navigate different HR information and records.

Cons

When it comes to the details under each section, there are either too much details or not much details which requires a user to navigate further and spend more time to locate information needed. I understand this will vary by company's HR policy and structure but, even with more sections, helping managers to access HR records with fewer steps would be useful.

10/10 for my experience of this application. The personal details of the employees are secured. You need to use a vpn to access this application which is good for me as a user. Overall, I like the application. The application is very recommendable.

Pros

This is an application helps both the employer and the employees for tracking the major benefits, attendance, leaves, the payorll system of the employee. As a user of this application I can access my payroll in just a few click! I can file my leave through online website or application. Also there’s a guided calendar for the number of leaves that will guide the employee in their future use, like number of vacation leaves or sick leave. This application is a time saver and also and helps the environment to use a less paper platform in a company.

Cons

At first glance I find it difficult to use the application. But if you get familiarized on the application everything is easy for the user.

Great HCM. By far the best I have worked with in my HR career.

Pros

Workday is not perfect, but it is the best HCM software that I have used. You can integrate almost every aspect of HR into one platform. The employee self service is easy to use.

Cons

It can be time consuming / a big lift to implement and deploy new modules within Workday, especially if you don't have a knowledgeable Workday team dedicated to the project. I have worked on small Workday implementation teams where we learned as we went along (it's painful) and I have worked with Workday consultants who do all of the work. I highly recommend hiring experts for the implementations. You are paying a lot for the software and want to make sure it is setup properly and getting the full value.

I love workday, for almost 4 years that I am using it I have no issues and I can access it anytime. I am very happy and glad to use it in all times.

Pros

I can login and logout on in workday, check my profile and information also can see my payroll any time and can use if through phone. I can download also my payslip anytime for importance used. I really like the product.

Cons

I can't think of any least about workday because it is very helpful to me and I am using it everyday.

I love workday and uses it weekly. Would highly recommend

Pros

I love how easy it is to access my paystub as well as W-2. The breakdowns are easily viewed. If there are mistakes made, I can normally catch them quickly. I also use workday to access the different benefits my company have including retirement account and manages my medical benefits. It’s also super convenient to change the bank information and designate how much of my paycheck I want to go to which bank.

Cons

I actually like all the features that are available so far. Of all the features that I use including paystub, benefits, W-2/electronica forms, I have no negative experience with workday. If we can integrate scheduling into this rather than using another website/app that would be even more convenient

Easy to use, great to manage people or inventory.

Cons

The layout should be dynamic, it is difficilt to come back to previous page.. will be interesting to navigate without tapping always on the bar or to go on the homepage

Pros

I do not have to worry about verbatim communication changing, with workday each agreed goals is documented and approved . Workday allows me to set my goals for every financial year and this helps to keep me aware of the expectations i need to meet up with before the year end. It allows me to lock in goals with metrics and specify timelines to each of the goals. Also workday allows downward feedback, with workday i can always give feedbacks to my colleagues and even seniors , I am able to track my leave days as well without keeping records in memory. For me workday is a complete employee buddy.

Cons

Asides from responsiveness being slow sometimes, for me workday is a complete employee buddy. with workday you can carry out a lot of functions. So far, its a great tool for me

Keeping track of your time as well as available PTO time is very easy. Reviewing available open positions in one system. Payroll and W-2 tracking is very quick and easy especially if you need to make a change as well as goal tracking.

### "New HR Tool brings some challenges and benefits"

MY organization switched over to Workday and I had the chance to use this tool for a while now. I'll say that it's a lot easier to pick up and the available info to learn it was easy to grasp as well.

Pros

You can pretty much find any HR related features/questions/information in one spot. I was able to consolidate my benefits options, PTO, reviews, in one spot. I also think that it's certainly more robust/ takes a lot less down time than our previous software. Besides that Workday comes with the standard user logins, password setup, online time-sheet, etc. that I expect. I really like the ability to edit my own info very fast. I can change things like benefits or dependencies quickly rather than going directly to my HR's office.

Cons

My one complaint is that I used to be able to directly edit some of my team member's info and reviews from our old platform on my own. I think whether it's due to lack of access rights or just how my HR department has set it up, I can't do that any longer. It's a more lengthy process of getting it manually updated from my end and through some parties outside my immediate department.

### "Clunky staff software that makes work a chore"

Whilst I haven't experienced much software of this type, I can't help but feel there must be far better options than this out there. The clunky design, awful interface, frustrating processes and overall lack of thought into user experience makes WorkDay an unfortunately poor solution for workplace administration.

Pros

There are a lot of features in Workday, if you can find them, and the detail that can be stored and accessed across multiple users is good for things like procurement and staff administration. Being browser based as well means that there is no need to install anything on individual user devices.

Cons

There is next to no user experience. The journeys to do simple tasks are confusing and there are often seemingly multiple paths to do any task but only one that actually works. Error messages for not filling something in perfectly will often take you back to the start of the process. If you are using the procurement features, the notifications are sporadic and you will often be left to chase people in your company manually to find out what is going on. The design and interface is straight out of a warehouse inventory screen, like you'd see on an old beat up computer in the back of a massive warehouse of boxes. Not good and really uninviting to use. Having to do anything with this software feels like a huge chore.

Every big organization needs a human capital management program. Without Workday, this wouldn't have been possible. Especially in big companies like Agoda, where there are many requirements from stakeholders such as GDPR, Data Privacy, and Security, these are things that many of the competitors couldn't do.

Pros

Workday is probably the best human capital management in the world right now. Learning Workday opens wide opportunities to various jobs. As a Workday HCM beginner, it might be overwhelming, but after one training course and a month of practice, Workday HCM can easily become a simple thing. Workday HCM is important as it is the core of other Workday modules such as Workday Security and Workday Business Process Architecture.

Cons

Workday is definitely an expensive tool that is only utilized by big companies. It is going to be rare for small to medium size company to use Workday. It means that, if you are going to quit a company that uses Workday and would prefer to find a job in a similar fashion, it has to be a large size company. Workday training is also kind of expensive, yet it is not a one-on-one training but a group course instead. Workday Support is very technically useful, however, it might take some time for an issue to resolve and they don't provide live chat support. Workday Learning is something that my company has issues with the most.

### "Great for managing Comp workflows, but not for analytics/reporting"

Pros

1) Ability to audit change logs: who made what change when, who was it approved by, was it later edited or rescinded, etc. 2) The ability to mass rescind changes is a lifesaver; you can filter by data input date range, specific input files, individuals / business units, etc. 3) Quick learning curve to get familiar with the interface, new comp team members can get ramped up in no time.

Cons

1) While reporting within the tool does exist, I always found it lackluster compared to what we could build on top of it with Tableau or custom dashboard tools. 2) Doesn't do a great job of interacting with equity data, particularly vesting data. We always created custom tables in SQL and fed them into Workday for reporting purposes, didn't trust using it as the system of record for equity. 3) Difficult to make corrections to a comp change record without manually rescinding and updating subsequent comp changes (which can be VERY tedious).

### "End user - Used for Time-sheets, Payslips, && Time off requests"

This application has so much potential. The opening page of it is so user friendly. After that though everything gets so confusing. There are so many different windows that open and the site is really difficult to navigate. Half the time I want to find information, I get lost trying to find it and completely forget what I was looking for in the first place. Hopefully as time progresses they will find ways to integrate more user-friendly methods to use the information.

Pros

\- Pretty UI - Convenient that all these things (Time-sheets, payslips, && Time off) are in the same place - Has tremendous potential

Cons

\- Haven't found a way to contact the company to suggest improvements - After you submit a time-off request, no easy way to undo it. - After you have removed a time-off request, looking at PTO requests you see ALL of the actions you took (request time, remove time off request) && it isn't just for one day EX) A normal workday is split into two sections (before && after lunch). So 4 in total if you took a day then cancelled it. - After you fill out your time-sheet && save it. You have to go to a separate tab to submit it. (You need to know to do that, there is not a link to it after you save the time-sheet.) This should be on the same page for a clearer flow. - The entries for the actual time-sheet are huge. There should be a smaller plain view that is easier to fill out. - If you click fill from scheduled time it does not automatically un-check your Requested PTO days so you might accidentally charge x2 time for that day. (Regular && PTO) - Paid Time Off is not intuitive. It asks you what date you want to know the pro-rated Accrued Time Off is. If you could just have a simple information sheet that says Total for 2019 (or whatever year), Accrued so far, used time off, planned time off, left over. - Pay Slips are not intuitive: To see your pay slip you have to click "Print", then it says it will notify you when it is ready. Then you have to open the PDF of it. It should just display beside the dates, forward && back buttons would be a plus.

Complex so far, but also rewarding to have a single platform to build off of. There are a lot of things that need to be monitored at once, but again, having things consolidated will make those efforts much easier, along with leveraging the consistent updates from Workday.

Pros

Consolidating one-off software into a single solution. We were utilizing separate candidate tracking software, performance review software, employee profile details, and more. Workday offers all of this, and once everything was ported over, it has become much easier to manage and there are now several other offerings that can be taken advantage of from a data analysis and management standpoint.

Cons

The onboarding and internal training required is extremely robust, however, essential. This is not an overnight switch, it will take a lot of time and internal training, to achieve the top uses of this powerful platform, but the expectation is that it will be very worthwhile.
