Pros Workday is a SaaS platform which gives access convenience by being available in the cloud. Business processes customizable and security can be ensured. Cons Some users find it difficult to use because of having to go through multiple clicks to complete tasks. Workday's UI isn't customizable and somehow inefficient for some cases. So there was a lot to consider and much work that needed to be done to set up system with our historical data (this was the biggest effort). However once we were set up on Workday, life was so much simpler for our HR department. Processes were followed, employees were more informed about their vacation and benefits information and we finally build the reports we needed to support our growing company! Cons I think all of the effort and consultancy hours we spent on delivering workday made this a very costly implementation. The processes of inputting our historical data was a bit chaotic, however Workday was with us all along the process and made sure we had a successful implementation and launch. There are some nice ways to visually understand the organazationl chart. The messages and reminders that arrive straight to the mailbox are also helpful. Cons The interface is confusing. Some things are accessible only via the inbox but I could not find them anywhere else. I am sure they are somewhere hiding. It is very difficult to find what you need. Buttons completing tasks are all the way on the bottom of the screens aligned to left. Half the time I forget they are there and have no idea how to complete the task. The app organisation does not make sense. And the user experience can be frustrating. I had such negative experiences with Workday that if I need to do anything - I physically wolk into the HR office and ask for help. Review Source UD Ulas D. I also like that it's straight forward, and the user interface is aesthetically pleasing. Cons Certain inter-dependencies at times made it difficult to leverage all features - for example you need to implement WD- Recruiting to leverage certain functionality about internal posting, etc. Also, the timing of the upgrades can be challenging but I dont see a way around that since all users are on the same instance/version of the product. Really though they its a great product that is listening to its customers. As I mentioned above it is one of the better benefits software I have used in my career. Pros Workday is one of the better benefits software I have used in my almost 20 years as an Executive Assistant. It is comprehensive, easy to use and offers a variety of functions. Cons Creating reports and data analysis is very clunky to do and difficult to get information - have to download the data and then separately analyze it via Excel. This is especially valuable for homeworking which is much more common following the pandemic. Pros Workday is excellent for making and tracking goals and targets when discussing personal development within a workplace. The goal tracking also allows for clear feedback between employee and manager which makes it easy to track progress. Cons The dashboard is a little hard to navigate; it can be tricky to find tasks or items unless they have been recently assigned and are in your mailbox. Pros This is pretty much your employee portal with all the necessary things you need to know such as your pay, your status, your goal tracking and so on. It has very detailed information and you can add more if you'd like. Cons There are few minor lags here and there and search engine could be upgraded to be able to do more category searches. I like that I can log in with my fingerprint and I can easily clock in and out and view paystubs. Pros I am a designer and I can really appreciate when a company spends a little time and money on making an app aesthetic pleasing and usable. I log in and clearly know what i'm looking for. Cons Another app...I realize the beauty of capitalism is that anybody can compete with other companies. It is a diverse program that offers a lot of substance with it. Pros Workday is a huge platform that you can customize for your companies needs and will often times customize the banner to your company.
